###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

No luck for Suscoe here today.
Even after reviewing the images and a check with another finder we could not locate the container.
Perhaps the CO might like to drop by here and check this cache out.
Hope it is still here.

Quick find, cache in good original condition just well camouflaged as per the hint. I nearly didn’t even look for this based on previous dnf’s but I had plenty of time and thought why not give it a go. It’s a beautiful morning for a walk around the poundage. TFTC
Like others before us, we failed to find anything but blackberries in this area. May be worth checking?
With the Alex event over and me staying an extra day I did a tour of Eildon. This was an easy find. My first for the day. TFTC.
Sorry Maximus.
I have now visited this cache 3 times and signed the log twice.
Visit 2 was during the Mega weekend so I will bundle it up with everything else I failed to write up from those exhausting couple of days.
It really was a beaut little cache and thank you very much for placing and maintaining it for our enjoyment. [^]
Im a bad bad geocacher.

A wonderful day spent with GemmaSistema as we traveled from our homes to Kyneton before jumping in together to continue to Alexandra and the Mega event, a loooong day as we managed a huge collection of cache types, caught up with friends, explored an area I had not visited before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I love seeing the flags popping up and getting random toots from fellow cachers passing by as you are knee deep in a bush.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions! Looking forward to the next one!

A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Second day of the Mega, and today's plan is to work our way along the "top" side of the lake, picking caches and fishes and a CITO Event along the way. Snickersallan and Patrol14 remain with is.
The poundage didn't look too bad today - even though there was a lot of water flowing through it. Cache was OK.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 2.00pm on 19th November 2017. TFTC. maximus1978

In town for the fantastic mega event - my first (not my last!!!) Misschief18 and myself got an invite from chooknchunk to do the trout puzzle series of caches plus a few trad caches. Welllllll .....what a day - great fun, friendship, giggles and so much more. Thanks guys and TFTC
Today was my last day of caching at the event today and it was an early morning wake up and pack up before heading out to start caching before tackling Dragon Hunter later in the afternoon. So I started the day off walking around town before attending the event and then moving over to Eildon to then cache there. Anyways this was one of the caches that I found during the day and what a great day I had. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

Thank you for bringing us to this lovely spot. Cache was a quick find the log was full so replacement sheet added.
On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

Found during the Alexandra Mega 2017, which was a weekend with many cache types, pathtags, trackables, lab caches, gadget caches, much chatting, 4WDing, hiking, tree climbing, and bush walking till 4am !
Like many others around here I picked this one up while taking part in the nearby CITO clean up.
Thanks, maximus1978.

I wasn't sure if I could attend Mega this year with lots of other things happening in life but a plan was hatched close to the date with becca85 to leave the kids at home and do a girls day trip. My day started with leaving home not too long after 6am and meeting Bec en route. From here we travelled stopping for only one cache before hitting the "mega zone".
We caught up with people at all the events, and at caches which is always nice as you get to meet so many different folk from all around Australia. We found some really awesome gadgets caches (which we are bad at), some amazing scenery which I really want to bring the family back to, and we laughed all day long.
I had a fabulous day clocking up plenty of finds. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to the day. The cache owners, organisers, volunteers, and my geo friends who helped me with puzzle solving before the event! Thanks a million - love the geocaching community. See you all in 2018!

Toriaz and I had stayed at the nearby campsite with Canary and his better half for the night, as we were attending the Alexandra Mega Event. Toriaz and I drove up to the dam to complete the Earth Cache and find two traditionals there while the Canaries finalised their camp. We met them back at this cache and then continued on to return to the Mega Event. Thanks
Found while in the area for the Alexandra event. Two cachers were already at this spot, so it was sign and move on. Nice to do in between all the puzzle caches. TFTC
Today I teamed up with RoddyC and Snickersallan again to finish the Trout Geoart and any caches that are along the way.
They were all found thankfully, some easy, some took some time to locate but all in good condition.
A quick find. SL, then returned cache to its hide.

Last night our car GPS tried to get us to turn at the blocked road here to get to our campsite. We saw a cacher's car pulled up here, but did not have time to stop and look for the cache ourselves at that time, as we needed to check in before the office closed. This morning however, we had plenty of time to stop to look before heading back to the showground at Alexandra.
Bikerbuddy and I had got an earlier start than the Canaries, and had gone up to the dam for the earthcache while they finished breakfast & packing up. We rejoined them at this cache, and made a quick find.
Thanks

I was just about at the CITO event but I thought that I would stop at this one first to have a look.
Didn't really need the GPS for this one as the was a bit of a geotrail leading to the cache.
This one was found quickly and now it was time for the event.
**Thanks to maximus1978 for placing this cache.**

We drove past this last week when we were here fishing for some of the Trout GeoArt caches, but decided to leave it until the CITO event this week.
It's great to see old caches such as this one being adopted by new young players on the block. Thanks jojobeenie and maximus1978 for your enthusiasm and dedication for this wonderful pastime, and what you have brought to the area in the way of new caches as well.
dalerious helped wozzle68 and me to find this one.
Thanks NCad for the original cache, and to the adoptees for maintaining it, to add to all of our enjoyment during this wonderful Mega experience.

This was a nice easy cache to find as we chose the correct side of the creek to explore the first time. Log and container were both in good order and our name joined the list of finders working out from the Mega event. Out thanks go to NCad maximus1978 jojobeenie for placing this cache in the Alexandra area.
Our only DNF of the weekend so far. We looked and looked but couldn't find it. Thanks for the hide.
After searching for larger caches all day I missed this one. Found with Cybergran v muggle hubby and Dalerious.
Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache.

A wonderful weekend away attending the Alexandra Mega 2017. Sooo good to be out Geocaching again. Pushed with the puzzlers to have all the puzzles solved before we got here, so etched out today to collect as much of the trout as we could and any trads we came across on the way. This little beauty was hiding in just the right spot. Hunting today with Minnie’s, fitzy_1965, Aykayem, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs (all logged as Team Goulburn)
We had a great run, and an enjoyable day. only glitch - I lost my notebook on the way home with all my interesting log stories, so no fun facts from me. Thanks tftc

Down here from Canberra for the Mega, ended up camping with, and also mainly going caching as part of, a group that called themselves "Team Goulburn" (but I put, or got the person signing to put, my name in all the logs as well, because I don't live in Goulburn - lol)
(Our group consisted of 2 carloads of us - Minniek, nibletricecakes, fitzy_1965, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs)
Today I found a gadget cache next to the mega while I drank my morning coffee, then I had a bit of a quick look around, captured some Munzees, etc ... then when everyone was ready we headed out to collect a heap of the mystery trout caches -all of them I think ... I wrote each one in my notebook as we found them and am now working my way through the list logging them. Someone else in our group had kindly solved them all before I even knew I would be caching with them (so I made sure I did more than my fair share of getting down and dirty with the actual looking for the caches and we also grabbed a few other caches in the area while we were out here ...
TFTC - after 13 trout, time to rock along and weigh our catch?
Sorry for the lack of individual comments in most of my logs ... they were all fun, and mostly in nice places, I just don't remember which one was which now, and didn't write many notes as we went ...

Today we were caching as the GOTHs, Geocachers of the Hills, made up by the following teams, Bushfire, Aussie M & M, mogni, brisal5, Team Astro, and 6hinemoa2. Our aim was to try and do the Geoart plus any trads along the windy way. Some interesting spots were found, got close to the river, lots of prickly nasty bushes too. Thanks for the hides and the puzzles.
Found whilst in Alexandra for the Mega event! - Always enjoy coming to new cache locations and discovering the place! Thanks NCMJOJO.

A last minute change in family requirements and I could attend the Mega - Yay !! Drove down on the Friday and met up with the group, and today we headed out to mainly complete the Trout series plus any Trads along the way. Next find of the day. One of the bonus trads along the way - nice to see such an old cache still going strong ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to Geocaching Melbourne and the individual members !!

Travelling with nibletricecakes, fitzy_1965, Aykayem, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs. In most logs we are Team Goulburn (but could be some derivative of that, thanks to fitzy).

A neat little hide in a pretty spot. Thanks for the cache NCad maximus1978 and

Now its time to heaad back to ALEX17 for the free BBQ.
A fairly late decision resulted in myself and 1 party of the FurfacesLL clan headding south towards Alexandra Event. After working during the day Friday, the drive down Friday night felt never ending. We had a great 3 days stomping around Alexandra and surrounds putting our scribble in many caches.
After having lunch, it was off to get some smileys. Time to hit some of the AX17 caches that we had worked on in the lead up to the event.
A quick detour off the AX puzzles and soon had our scribble in this one, the log is chocker block full and needs some attention after this weekends anticts.

It was a last minute decision to attend the Alexandra Event so after work on Friday Rapidlywild and I headed down through a couple of storms and heaps of lightening which put on a great show.
We found a few caches around the place before heading back home on Monday.
After lunch on the main street it was time go in search of caches.
Detour from the puzzle trail to find this one. Quick find, signed, replaced and on our way.

We pulled into the side strip and coped weird looks from some fishing folk but kept going. LouJean1970 had her eyes peeled and quickly made the find. Thanks for bringing us so near the lake, just beautiful.
Well we have finally landed in Alexandra after what feels like a trip around half the east coast. Just finding a few caches before the event starts. . 2645 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache maximus1978, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing
Found it with Crank1, Everlasting & Whitepaws9 during "The Alexandra Event".
Thanks maximus1978 for bringing us here.

Another fabulous day in Alexandra and surrounds. After registering I met up with Joolay, KittyKatch and GrimRaider and together we cached as Capital Crunchers.
Our aim for the day started out as completing the GeoArt Puzzle caches which we had solved before leaving Canberra. As the day progressed some traditionals were included and towards the end of the day Joolay wanted to hit 50 caches in one day.
The puzzles were all so different. Some easy, some more difficult and some simply treacherous! Poke in the eye to some of the COs. lol! The encouragement and help received from the COs was magnificent. I cannot praise them highly enough for their work to ensure we had a great time but still pushed us to learn and develop our problem solving skills. Many thanks.
It was fun catching up with other cachers along the way and caching with such wonderful company as I had today. Thank you all.
All logs were either stamped as Capital Crunchers, or signed in micro logs.

MEGA ROAD TRIP - Alexandra Mega 2017 that is. : Day 3: GOTHS go fishing. [8)]
GENERIC LOGS: With Literally Hundreds of caches found during our stay anything specific to this cache will be found near the start HERE: [8] [8] [8] Nothing here means it was found quickly, the cache had no issues and we moved on!
We had all come together for the Alexandra event at a lovely farmstay just outside the township. Mrs. Aussie M&M, Astro and I from Adelaide, mogni from Mt. Gambier, Bushfire from Geelong and 6hinemoa2 from Bachus Marsh. We would be filling up log books just putting our names in them so we searched for an anagram from our caching name initials. The best we could find was BATHMATs. [B)] Good grief. So we settled on GOTHS = Geocachers Of The HillS as we all lived on one of one type or another. [:o)] We didn't just 'turn up' and cache. Many months of planning and puzzle solving went on before we made our way over and so we had some target caches and series to have a go at. Today was the Fish GeoArt series - and anything else that was nearby in our travels. Once again the planning by the mega committee and to local cachers made our stay fantastic. [^][^]

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
After staying in Mansfield overnight, we headed towards Alexandra this morning. There were a number of caches along the rail trail which were within a short distance from Mansfield. Then there were more at regular intervals along the way to Alexandra. The weather in the morning was quite reasonable but thunderstorms arrived in the afternoon and there was some rain. However it did not deter us from caching. As we got closer to Alexandra we started to meet cachers from other places as we all made the MEGA at Alexandra our destination for the weekend. After lunch we headed down to Thornton, crossed the Goulburn River and started to look for caches on the Back Road to Eildon. Later in the afternoon we crossed the river again and caches our way back from Eildon to Thornton.
This was one of the few non-puzzle caches that we sought this afternoon. Accurate coordinates and a familiar type of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks maximus1978 jojobeenie for the cache.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 408 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 97.0. We are now entertaining the possibility that we might be able to achieve our gaol before this trip ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

At Alexandra now with the view to attend the Mega. We stopped to collect a few extra caches today. Our main aim was to collect the fish puzzles.
The countryside around Alexandra is beautiful. Found and logged under the caching collective name of GOTHS.

Logged as SJKK. I'm up here with Sean.75, Jenno3 and kenare for my 3rd mega and to get as many caches as we can. It is very beautiful up here and we've left some caches so we can come back again one day, but we found this one!! tftc
Meeting up with 2Hinemoa6 in Bacchus Marsh and then Aussie M & M and Brisal5 both from SA in Broadford the team is nearly complete. Mogni and Team Astro will meet us at our headquarters (Maybole Cottage) for the next few days.
Our farm stay has everything required for a very pleasant few days.
Up early and ready for a long day caching we stopped at this cache as it was on our list, soon located, log signed so on to the next. To save space in the logs we logged as GOTHS or GOTHS + 2 as we all live in the hills.
With hundreds of caches to log most will be cut and paste but I do thank all the owners for their thought and effort that has gone into placing a huge variety of hides around this very beautiful area.

Attending the Alexandra Event and collecting as many caches as we can between attending the smaller events, checking out the towns and scenery and having a great time. Thanks to all the wonderful COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Found with the GOTHS.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]
Thanks to maximus1978 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

This was my first full day in Alexandra, and I started by heading out to Eildon again, then back to town and surrounds, and finally to the Welcome event and two night caches. There was a bit of a geotrail leading to GZ where the cache was quickly located.
My thanks to NCad maximus1978 jojobeenie for the cache.

Teamed up with WeRAmused for a few days of caching and this series is high on the 'to do list'. We woke to rain but that didn't stop us. Stunning area. TFTC
MazzyMay and I are here for the mega event and with the fish series solved between a few of us we decided it would be good to do now as a warm up. A couple of trads like this one picked up on the way through. With almost continuous rain today we were going for the drowned rat look by the end. TFTC
