Stupidity of not checking the last find!! 3 of us couldn't find it. Please release or flag.
Found the coordinates easy enough but couldn't find the final cache Found what I was confident the hint object was and a nice looking hiding spot a few meters away but nothing there. Maybe we typed in the coordinates wrong or maybe it's not there.. I did notice it hasn't been found all this year though.
Nice to get a crack at a blaghster (now Vaudevillain?) cache again, it's been some time.
Managed this one as we headed into Hemi Matenga to have a crack at the Tmann series of caches.
All in order. The coordinates are intact at first WP1. Cache find was true to coords and hints. Cache in order. Log signed; safely re-hidden just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

1930 Think I will add a Maintenance Request as well, as the last two digits of the Longitude are missing off the scroll! Able to make a guess, and found the cache. Will add the missing numbers in an encrypted request.
Cache dry and intact, and assuming the best from my assumption as to the coordinates being good I left a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Brought through for mileage: "Mineral Mountain (CO)" Green Jeep Travel Bug, 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, BEAGLE BIXBY, B 2 B ingot, BROWN BEAR 15, Coin of Danmark, CRDAVIS-Scottish Thistle Geocoin, Fishing Bell TB, GoLeo Travel Bug Dog Tag, Iconic Bridges, land rover TB, Lil' Miss TB, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 2013 GCookie Coin, PAP, Raban, Red Jandal, Rienan TB, Spooky, steben6's DNF Duo - Super Cacher Geocoin, Trakabulldog geocoins, VIRGINia TAG, and trackable shirts.

Only by making a 'correct' assumption did we find this one. WP1 was not that easy to find.
Left: a pair of disposable scissors, and a ziploc bag.

I assumed that the first missing number was NINE, and took a punt on three for the last, in the end I think it could be a SIX.
The weather forecast for the Kapiti Coast was fine, no mention of rain, but as we got closer to Waikanae, we were dismayed to see dark clouds. We arrived at the start of the track to Hemi Matenga Park, at the same time as the drizzle. Darn. We decided to carry on uphill, and were pleased we did as the drizzle came and went throughout our loop walk.
StreetWalker tracked down both WP and final. Good views as we got higher (and before we were amongst the clouds). TFTC.

#6005. The weather looked a bit unpromising (and distinctly worse than what we had left behind in Wellington). However, we decided to make a start and see how things progressed (and as it happened we managed to get all of the caches in the HM reserve). The WP was in plain sight and I left it as found (though I did think maybe it was supposed to be tucked away out of sight underneath). Then it was off up the track to look for the final. It was a steady climb, which warmed us up for the much steeper climb to come. Cache found after a short search. TFTC.
Found at the start of a big walk up the hill to collect all the caches at the top. Was surprised to see this hadn't been collected in a while. TFTC !
Decided to have a hike up the trail to see how many caches I could get to this morning. This was the first one to tackle. WP1 almost had me beaten but I let my fingers do the walking and got the numbers for WP2. Approached GZ and GPS was a bit dodgy in the terrain. Let caching instinct take over and found the cache nice and quickly. Nice multi, thanks for keeping it going and TFTC, Biggles.

Grabbed this multi whilst waiting for Mr Geckoh to run through from where we had dropped him. The hill climb definitely gave the calf muscles a bit of a workout. Miss Geckoh, again came up trumps with the final cache find. TFTC

Slept in the car and woke up quite stiff. A brisk walk along the top of the ridge should fix that. GPS led me straight to a nearby tree. I hate nanos at the best of times, but hanging randomly in a tree? After a small amount of pointless searching I resorted to the hint. Ahh! Much better! A brisk walk later and I had the cache.
An enjoyable little multi in a great location completed in the dark tonight while on my way further up the track. A quick find of the final after confirmation of the missing digits by a previous finder. I have written these on the back of the cache note at wp1. TFTC
Found WP1 after a loop of the reserve but the final coordinates were missing the final digit and a chunk of the 2nd last one. While I probably could have sorted it from what was left I didn't have the energy left to try as I still had to walk back to the car parked at the Tui st entrance.
A good multi, well preserved cache. Was a very good starting climb up the hill and nice to get into the bush line. Thanks Vaudevillain for giving me another reason to go for a good walk!!
We just had to do this one with sonia26642, she does everything huia-related Good climb and an awesome view, thanks heaps!!
I came over to Wellington for the weekend, and met mum, and we went on a caching trip to the city and surrounds.
This was a nice cache, and one I definitely wanted to find!! I live in a building called Huia, and so wanted to find this one for sure!! And... we took some photos next to the Huia Street sign. I also have some near other Huia Roads, and next to a Huia School now too!! Haha, patriotic much??
So, we went to get this cache, and found the GZ of the first spot, and wanted to get the cache, but there was a DOC lady doing the lawn mowing!! ... But I managed to retrieve it while her back was turned, and we pretended we were gonna go and wait for her to finish while recording the coords to the next stage.
After having that, hung around the GZ while mum climbed on over to the pathway, and I returned sneakily meanwhile.
But yes the climb was definitely a good work out!
And neat wee multi.
TFTC!!

Soon found first WP oon set off for cache. No problems finding it. Left a pet rock - a frog. TFTC
A place that I have always meant to visit. This gave me a reason to, however I saw more of the track than I needed to today. It helps if you enter the correct coordinates! Never mind, nice place, nice day. TFTC.
Called here on the way to do some work in the area this morning. A quick find at WP! then went for the short stroll up the hill to hunt out the final. GPSr was wandering at GZ and the tree described in the hint could have been one of a number of similar ones. However the readings settled down after a while and were in fact quite accurate. Cacher's instinct also worked well here and the cache was found after a short search. Signed log, TFTC.
Yay! Second time up the hill to find it and we did (thanks to my husband, who didn't come last time!). TFTC.
Found the first cache, so cool! Unfortunately, after making it to the top of the hill (great day for a walk) we searched and searched but couldn't find the final cache. 7 year son didn't want to give up, but in the end we did. May be we were taking our bearings from the wrong tree!! Will have to take husband next time to see if he can find it.
# 150 T4TC Have been to try this a few times. WP1 needed little fingers, Great cache did today in a lite mist. My personal GC came for the walk as well.
TFTC I have the little fingers. Great cache. The view wonderful even with the mist. Did anyone lose some underwear? As saw some in a tree.
We finally had time to do this cache today. Great walk up the hill, even better going down looking at the views . TFTC
#1389. Thanks for bringing us here. We often admire the outlook of this landscape looking up from down on State Highway 1. Now the outlook from up here is superb. Great views.

This is a great multi to stretch the legs on, and our 100th multi as well. Enjoyed the walk and the views, with hint quickly leading to the cache. TFTC
#315. Nice uphill walk to the cache. Mr 7yr old has hay fever in the long grass, so he got a free shoulder ride there and back. We were considering doing the 'loop' walk, until google maps showed us the distance, maybe another day... SL, TFTC. -scorpion, -seeds, +badge, +kitty tin, +puppet.
Found the first WP and container quick and easy. The path to GZ was overgrown but no trouble walking it. At least it was dry. Once we had our bearings, we found the final after a quick look around.
Boy, I really had to work hard for this one. The grass was so long and wet, I was exhausted by the time I got to GZ. I had already been totally soaked, so all that water had warmed up by the time I got to the top and was positively steaming! I searched for about 10 minutes for the cache, and was very relieved when I had it in hand. It was very nice bushland in here, and I was happy to have had the experience. This cache is located very near to where my elderly Mum lives, and she was interested to hear about it. I left a Tasmanian Devil keepsake. There was no TB in the cache though. TFTC.
Very nice multi-cache, well organised with good directions and co-ords spot on. Cache in good condition. Great views - can see my farm from up here. SL Left cacher thermometer GC TFTC
Nice views of the island, well half of it from where i looked. Great views of the ocean on a nice sunny day, great way to start spring. Great cache thanks TNLN
Went up with bkj97 for a pleasant afternoon stroll. Awesome views. A great place to show visitors to Kapiti. Nice little cache. TFTC TNLN SL.
Nice little climb on a sunny July afternoon with Richargr. Great views. Hadn't been visited in a while and the 1st WP was even smaller than two tiny ones I encountered in Hobart Tasmania. TFTC SL TNLN cache secure. Encountered 4 wippets (very fast dogs) and a poodle type dog as we descended plus owners.

Did the first part of this one yesterday on my way back from Palmerston North heading South but ran out of time to find the final, decided to get the last part of this one today, was a quick slog up to the GZ and was easily found, great views from the final GZ, TFTC TNLNSL (591)

TNLN. Great views, clever location, thanks! Previous log mentions they couldn't find a Blarghster Code clue - this will be because this cache is NOT one of those he lists as providing one!
I've been up that track several times before, It has never been that steep before, or I may be getting older. I will return to leave something and take something. Could find no reference to the "Barghster Code". TNLNSL TFTC.
Managed to drop WP1, its a bit of a trick to find and replace. Then the steeeeep climb up, but great views as the reward. TFTC
Decided to pay a visit to this cache after an exam! Thought the first WP had gonne AWOL, but was nearby (CM's nearby!). Not exactly as I had originally hidden it, so moved it slightly. Damn near died on the way to the second WP - vigorous exercise ahoy! Cache was in good order. A little cramped for space though - might I suggest that the next finder take the large TB!
What a tiny container at the first stage! Very cunningly hidden! A good stiff uphill walk on a hot day to the final position. Great view seawards. TFTC TN +Ducky TB.
Ducky is high and dry and in a tight squeeze so will be glad to move on from here.

Found the nano cache a couple of weeks ago on a cold wet day. Dropped it a couple of time trying to put it back. Decided against completing cache as weather looked like it was going to get even worse. Glad we did, as it was a fine sunny day which gave great views. Found cache easily enough but stayed for a while enjoying views and listening to the Tui's.

Great views. Nicely tucked away from the cool wind blowing.
Not a great place to take your dog at the moment though as recently there has been a dropping of poison which contains cyanide to kill off the possums up there - so make sure you take some salts with you if bringing your 4 legged loved ones.
TNLN
Thanks for the cache and the views!!

The first cache is certainly tiny! I would like to get one or two of those things for some caches I have in mind. Found cache to be resting comfortably in its rightful place. Thanks for the cache (and the forced exercise getting to it!)
Didn't start well, I dropped the clue from the nano and it was very hard to find in the grass but finally found it, phew!
Nice walk to follow with a good view and co-ords for the final were spot on. Great cache, many thanks.

A hard slog up the hill on a hot day, but a nice shady spot at GZ to fill in the log and contemplate a swap. Beware the structure at the first clue. It has some very sharp spiky bits that can draw blood!
