Went past here again this morning..... all the roadside vegetation is gone!!!! Making the cache site open to passing traffic. Site is vulnerable. Many workers nearby still, getting ready for the V8 Supercar races next April.
Cache will be archived.

Archiving....
It appears from the V8 maps, that a super large screen will be placed on this corner. Guess that's what the yellow markers are for. Despite being reassured by the council that NO changes will be made to this corner, major work continues.
Oh well, I'll have to think out another idea for this area.... watch that space!

Work has started at this intersection in preparation for next year's V8 Supercar racing. As a precaution, the cache has been removed for at least two weeks, maybe longer. I pass this way every weekday, so will get it back as soon as the workmen have moved on.
From Monday 7th May, new rounabouts at two adjacent corners, plus services relocation may compromise access to this cache.
Will remove the cache this coming weekend.
Apologies for any inconvience.

Cache was well hidden under leaf litter, small nose to tail accident at intersection distracted passsing muggles...left a small blue ball

A further note on those yellow marks near the cache. We have now been advised that this shows where the services are underneath, and that no construction will be taking place. So the cache is safe from V8 development, but not muggles or gardeners etc

Thanks P&P, for your observations.
We have contacted the council about this site, and the preparations for the upcoming V8 races (next year).
We have been told that this area will be untouched, other than the roundabout at the next corner being replaced with a temporary one, and some slight tree triming in Tristram St for visibility improvement.
Cache site should be safe.

This time we found it but it was spotted quickly as it was uncovered. We replaced it and covered it well.

Moved the HH geocoin to another rainy place.
We noticed yellow markings on the ground near the GZ area, looked like some sort of construction marking. Maybe worth checking to see if the cache area will be safe.
Thanks.

New cache, smaller box this time. Please keep it well covered in this rather public spot.
Sorry folks. Checked and it's gone....
Hope to have it back up and running soon.

9.52pm. Took a wee while, was looking in the wrong bush, and all we found there was a watering can full of used oil. Moved to the right place and cache was in hand.

10 40 a.m. 9th find today
Once again, I had trouble finding parking here before walking over to GZ. I looked around in vain for a hide until by a process of elimination I realised there was only sufficient cover in just the one place.

Called in on a bug raid, ready for our event tomorrow… picked up Foot Loose Travel Bug after his very brief stopover.
Found this one in good shape. There was a pair of "lady of the night" style boots nearby. That was sort of sketchy. Dropped off TB.
#407. No problemo. An uncharacteristic larger sized cache from the BL and RN. TFTC
Fortunately there was not a lot of traffic late on Sunday afternoon and I was able to search in peace. The coordinates worked for me and only allowed 2 places for the cache to be, so I was able to make a quick find.
6th of about 30 caches for the weekend
Got the kids to play with their ball and kick it into the cache area

It was dark already, so no muggles around. The cache was easy to find, and well covered afterwards. TFTC!
Found at night, now I know what a hunted possum feels like.

Quite a public spot with a bit of muggle thoroughfare even on a wet day. Straightforward find.
Took longer than it might have because the GPS insisted it was out in an exposed area of grass.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Third cache that we visited today that someone else had also been to on the same day. But this time we "caught them" or rather they caught us in the act of opening the cache. Nice to meet you Mr & Mrs "Doctor & Co".

Nice easy cache, well easy because we had "some" help thanks to Zorgon and his "secret weapons". Always nice to meet a fellow cacher.... Cheers for the help and thanks for the cache. Nil In, Nil Out
Hunted for this for about 30mins around 11.30pm to no avail. Clue too vague to help with the not so good satellite cover and not to mention darkness. Will hit this next time i have time in Hamilton
Stopped by on the way to work and located GZ easily enough but wasn't game on hunting in my work clothes in front of the rush hour traffic so will have another go later.
I dont know how I missed the notification-if it came.
Checked this am and saw that Zorgon had already been earlier and had a look.
Weather not looking so good but I was able to get on the scooter and get to within a few metres of GZ. This was about 1015 this am.
Easy enuf find-despite all the nearby traffic.
Took TB-will swap with another one tomorrow
