Is the giant sideways tree supposed to be on fire? I have a burning feeling this cache is no longer a hot find. Will revisit when the site cools down. Ashes to caches, dust to dust.
No luck here today, Looks like a buldozer has been through,
I think it should be checked out

Reperio at 1715. Well after spending a bit of time searching for this one, I gave a local cacher a call to find out where it should be. Given the last few logs were DNF's and no response from the owner, I couldn't be sure it was still here. As luck would have it, the locals I called were very close to this location and dropped past to lend a hand. After another 10 minutes of searching, we had all but given up until one of them came to the rescue and found it buried quite deep under dirt and leaf litter. Thankyou for the help as I wouldn't found it otherwise.
Gratias.

Spent some time walking around, poking, prodding, climbing, reaching, raking, lifting... and came up with zero. I'll be back.
Walked around, under and over, up and down, along and back... but couldn't find this one.
Went around in circles for awhile before finally spotting this one.
Took Swiss Geocoin.

We got a little close to some Spurred Lapwings on the way down to the cache and faced a few swooping attacks by them. Once we got down to GZ we found the cache fairly quickly. We took a different path back and had no trouble with the birds. Cheers Gav [4236]
Nice wander across the campus to the cache site. Student muggles none the wiser!! TFTC
AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Refreshed!
And after a pleasant undisturbed nights sleep (lets face it nothin's gonna wake me) This was a 1st for the day. We (I) cruised right up to within 50 odd metres of the cache, no one seemed any the wiser!
Great spot TFTC

we drove to within COOEE of this one.
Strolling up the river bed made me think that there must still be some alluvial gold in these here parts.
Lucky security didn't think we were preparing for a panty raid

A Bathurst invasion weekend find with the Team Bananaphone crew of Little Buds, SuperJaz & Bewilderbeest. We had awesome fun on this weekend!
Sorry, I'm a bit behind on logging my finds.
Thanks for the cache
Bewilderbeest decided to ignore all the construction signs on the way to GZ enabling us to park about 100m from the cache. A quick scramble and easy find. TFTC
Parked 50 meters away from the cache. A quick find with mtrax I went down the wrong way and met him at the cache TFTC
I think we where more like 40m but could have easily been 10m, but alot better than the 400m that Albida had to walk on his first visit, zoomed in on the GZ quick as a flash...
some muggle stu--dents looking disinterested in our activities, perhaps we look fairly official right
thanks

1008 - Arrived in Bathurst for the Invasion and it was straight into the thick of things - a string of caches along this bush strip...
After a search for GLC # 1 we wandered down here to see if this one was available - which indeed it was - a quick find - now back to # 1 for another look...
TNLN - TFTC !!

Second one for the day with the aforementioned hubby. Thought we were going to end up in town. Easy find

Found during bathurst caching event. 4 others were already scrambling down canyon, so i stayed up top, "supervised", and relaxed for awhile.
Found at 17:10 with herca, frogdude, Wasptor and Teglian - my thirty-first cache find on our Bathurst 24 hour Caching Event weekend.
Herca was a bit spooked by the Security RAV4 patrolling the grounds, so we took a detour to this one. Other than that, we approached it the easy way rather than from it's brother cache.
A quick run down the slope, and the cache was in hand.

An easy walk across the vacant field in the dark.
The cache was quickly spotted by Webguy and we finished the caching duties before heading off for some food.

We had a bit of confusion as to how to get into this one but once we worked it out it was all good! We saw about 70+ roos on the way to this cache.
Thanks Routers for the cache.

Twas a lovely stroll across the fields from the War Memorial. There were several caches hidden in this spacious reserve that needed my attention today
Lots of roos!! And that tree is just amazing
The cache took a bit of finding though. Very well hidden in an 'obvious' spot but I just didn't look hard enough the first time

Not the type of canyon we are normally used to. This one is more like the one at Tenterfield which is the town’s major tourist attraction after the saddlery.
See log for 'Grand little Canyon 1'. Mind you I am sure I walked past at least one fence...

Found this pretty easily after wandering through from The Village. Left rubber ball. TFTC.

Nice little area. You don't realise just how far you walk in to it until you have to walk out (in the dark). Dogs loved it and had a ball. Good one routers.
Bit of a walk to this one, but that's what we were there for. We didn't take the hard way but it certainly wasn't the easy way either! Forgot a pen and were banking on there being one in the cache but it was not to be. Had to improvise with charcoal, sorry. TNLN
