In Bluff for a couple of days for work. At the end of the day, came out to this reserve to see what caches were around. Nice to see this older one still going!Following hint and new coordinates, no problems finding this nicely concealed cache. All good in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Loved visiting this little gem of a walk and area...and a bonus two caches to find. Thanks for the hide

I'm down from Paihia for the Dunedin Mega event. We did a lot of caching around there between Friday and Sunday. Then on Monday we went down to Invercargill. The plan was 1 day coming down picking up puzzles as we headed south. Tuesday was doing the Big I and the penguin series. Fortunately we also had time to collect Cliften Swing Bridge and Monkey Island. Today is Curio Bay, Slope Point and Bluff as well as a few in Invercargill. Thursday was driving to Middlemarch for the old Donovan cache while collecting a lot of solved puzzles on the way and generally doing most of Middlemarch. Friday we headed up to Christchurch where I was going to spend the weekend with my cousin before flying home on Sunday. We had a great day today despite having to wait out a few showers. Our initial plan was to do Bluff first but the tide was right to go and do the Curio Bay earthcaches and Slope Point first. We then headed down to Bluff. A little walk here to finish off our time in Bluff. Thanks for your cache on this nice track **No oyster was harmed in Bluff by this geocacher. **
A plan was hatched quite a while ago when the Dunedin Mega was announced to come over to the South Island again.I have only been to New Zealand twice before and I loved the South Island. So a chance to come back for a Mega was a no brainer for me.Everything was booked and I flew in last Saturday week ago after a bit of a delay. So now for a couple of days around Invercargill. So Day 11 of my Mega NZ trip begins and Im on my own again so Im just picking out random caches that I had put on my list.No rain but everything was very wet under foot and I loved walking through long grass (Not)After finding a big I around the country side now to concentrate on a few others. After spending a few hours at Bluff and surrounds it was time to start heading back but a walk along the boardwalk was done to finish off the day.Cache was soon located with great coords. Thanks pipedream & Whitemoose TFTC.
Day Fourteen of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris. The Mega day today and we spent it traveling from Dunedin to Invercargill. The weather improved this morning, and only occasional shower during our trip.We left early and were in Invercargill by lunchtime.A nice short walk just off the road took us to GZ, and a quick find. Thanks, Robmc.
Day 4 and the rain has stopped in Dunedin. Nice to see the views as we head out of town. Found with isopeda and Smittengranny on our way south to Bluff and Invergargill. Almost to Bluff and a leg stretch here to collect a few targeted caches. This one took a bit of unearthing. Tftc
Day 14 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and we say farewell to Dunedin and head to Invercargill so the fellas can visit the motorcycle museums. Most of the morning was just driving the scenic route with intermittent rain, time constraints and some closures meaning we skipped quite a few caches. After we arrived and the fellas had their fill we toured around town and headed to Bluff for the afternoon until hunger and cold sent us back indoors. New hiding spot is lovely and dry. Thanks for contributing to the fun
Now that the Mega is over, Isopeda, barb2e and I decided to head south to explore Southland. We are out to get a number and a variety of caches including old ones wherever possible. The weather is certainly no better than in Dunedin, but that won't deter us from grabbing our targeted caches. This is one of the caches that we found and signed. TFTC
Today is day four of my whirlwind trip to New Zealand and the Geo Toroa Mega. Caching with Smittengranny and barb2e on the way to Bluff. Beautiful day - quite unlike the forecast. This took a bit of searching. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Attempted again today, but cache is inaccessible. We can see where it is but don't have earth moving machinery to get to it. Needs to be disabled or relocated.
DNF for two reasons:1. A very strong peanutty smell around the area, partially triggering allergies (in a psychosomatic way)2. What appears to be recent earthmoving which may impede the way to the cache.
Attempted today, but recent earthworks seem to have made the cache inaccessible. Could CO or a previous finder check this one out?
My first time in Invercargill and on a trip to the bluffs. It was a pleasant stop to view the water. Great find thanks!
We really enjoyed the walk to look at the ship graveyard. Excellent hide and some railway maintenance workers came by on a truck adapted to go on the rails. TFTC

Our last day in Invercargill today and the weather gods were shining on us today. Beautiful day for some sight seeing.TFTC
1MinnieMoo and I pulled up for this cache next.I parked up in a respectable spot - and then "ye olde entitled family" pulled up right next to the gate and decided to disembark themselves toward the cache. Sigh.We made our way slowly behind them. Until - for whatever reason - they decided it was too wet and bailed themselves back to their vehicle. Good-o. Remember to write. We were left it in peace. We soon found the prize safe and sound. A great little place for a cache. TFTC Whitemoose_
17/9/2023 Find #6543Day 9 of the Fangsoki/1MinnieMoo New Zealand South Island adventure. The weather today was rather uninspiring. But we had target caches to get. So we headed off this morning hopeful of a day of achievements. First stop was going to be the Bluff, but with the wet weather rolling in we decided to switch it up and head to our furthest planned for the day in the other direction and make our way back to the Bluff in the hope that the weather may ease a little. And as it turns out that ended up being a good idea. While the weather was still not amazing, and the chilly winds were certainly blowing us about, we managed to mostly avoid being out at caches while it was raining, only driving through the rain at times. We had been up to the Bluff, and were on our way back towards Invercargill when I mentioned I also had this one on the list, so we decided to make a quick pull in and take the short walk to GZ. Unfortunately at the same time as we pulled in so did a family with 2 very small children. We waited for them to start the walk, then we began to walk slowly after. They didnt get far and decided to turn around, certain it was just about to rain. Which worked out well for us, as that meant we could pick up the speed and make our find. And we had just enough time to put it back and start our return to the car as the rain began to spit down. Thanks for the cache Whitemoose_.
Got this cache easily. Great walk , met a muggle couple walking their dog just as I got to GZ but they didn't stop so was able to stop and quickly find cache and sign the log. Everything in good order TFTC
Located walking along the trail on way back to invercargill now rain hasstopped. Tftc
Our last day in Southland before heading north again.
A trip to Bluff and some more local ones completed our caching in the area.
Thank you to all cache owners for placing your caches.

Our last day today and spreading our wings a bit. The weather played its part and a good number of finds was achieved. Thank you to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Rain arrived as we headed towards Bluff. We donned wet weather gear to walk out to grab this cache on our way. Quickly found. Thanks for placing.
This one took me a second this morning- I missed it on the way out, and on the way back, taking a second look made me realize I hadn’t looked closely enough. Lovely time to visit the graveyard at low tide. TFTC
Danke für das zeigen dieses Ortes. Wir verbrachten eine schöne, interessante Zeit am Strand.
Den Cache habe ich gut gefunden, danke dafür und Grüße aus Deutschland.
Thanks for showing this place. We spent a nice, interesting time on the beach. I found the cache good, thanks for that and greetings from Germany.

Sent master J in for this one, (as he's braver than me with prickles nearby to protect it) great job. Left marble
A nice quick find and a nice walkway. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee drive to Invercargill and back. Today we cruised around Bluff and South Invercargill, in the rain to start with them overcast skies.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Tftc!! We’re biking to bluff on the new section of the bike track. Great so far. Quick find thanks. Onto bluff and next cache
The rain was down to a bit of a drizzle, so i figured i might as well have a little walk.
At least it meant there were no muggles about.
No problems making the find. Thanks for setting it up.
I left a pet rock - a possum

Day 13 of an awesome trip around the South Island for myself and RG1972, and we are heading from Invercargill to Alexandra. First port of call was a cache or two back in Bluff, then we checked out the impressive Queen’s Park before heading off to lunch at a cafe in Gore (via a drive-by the Edendale tulip fields).
A few solved puzzle caches around the river in Gore before heading off to Alexandra, with just a short stop in Roxburgh.
A good day, great weather, and we threw in the Adventure lab in Queen’s Park too. Thanks to all Southland (and some Otago) COs as we leave this nice area.

Back on the mainland & we are on the downhill stretch of our South Island roadie. On the agenda today was travelling from Invers to Gore, then on to Alexandra for the night. We made a small detour to Edendale, so I could see the fields of flowering Tulips ⚘ A highlight for me An adventure lab in the beautiful Queens Park & a delicious lunch at the Rustic Cafe & Restaurant in Gore were also highlights of our travels today.
A quick find here for us

Cache 840 ️ well it’s time to start climbing the mountain for this months geo challenge but the weather has been absolutely horrible lately, so I decided to take a punt on today even though overcast to try and grab a few caches before the rain comes down again, cache was a nice quick easy find the geo senses were on point cache is in excellent shape T4TC ️
We returned to the area today in lovely weather and found this cache quickly. Cache in good order, signed and replaced with no one else around. Dropped off a fish TB.
Extremely stoked to be signing the logbook for this one just as a train went past. He even honked the horn for me! Really brought out my train obsessed child self! TFTC!

While visiting Invercargill i decided a trip out to The Bluff was required as it is something like thirty eight years since we visited here and we walked this track to visit the boat grave yard. i think there was more evidence of more boats being visible at that time.
The hint meant it was a quick located , sign , and return with no muggles passing at the time
thank you for this cache and bringing me to this spot once again .
i took photos which i will log once i am home with a faster computer .

Had to skip a couple of caches due to muggle activity so came down to do these ones. Just after we found this one the train engine went past on his way somewhere. Quick find and sign. tftc
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 38th of hopefully many ... we were out heading for Bluff but decided to stop off at Greenpoint & grab a couple of caches ... this one being one of them, a quick sneaky grab, sign the log & replace ... we had the area to ourselves so had no issues what-so-ever ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,772 for us.
#18909. The first cache on this track was a quick find (things went downhill from here, as the other two were DNFs). Nice hide. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our first full day in and around Invercargill. With rain predicted for the next few days, we decided to concentrate on caches which needed walks.
The wind was blowing strongly and it was a cold but interesting walk along here. The only one of the three caches found along this walk but great to get an older cache. TFTC.

Great hide in a beautiful spot. Thanks for the effort in creating and for bringing us here. Favourite from us.
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation.**
We started our day's caching this morning in central Invercargill in blustery cold conditions. The weather was just as bad by the time we reached Greenpoint Domain. Made sure we had wet weather gear and set off for a stroll out to the wrecks. On the way we stopped and made the find on this nicely hidden cache. Thanks.

A week of work in Invercargill so at the end of the day today headed for Bluff to grab a few caches. This was the first of the day. Quickly grabbed signed and replaced. Car park empty and whole place to myself. Thanks for the cache.
Found it by just following the cacher-autobahn. Nevertheless: thanks for keeping this old one up!

Apologies for the late logging and cut 'n' paste but now Mr & Mrs Castoff are back in the UK at the same time we're catching up on the Geocaching adventures. We took hundreds of photographs but were too busy looking at stunning scenery across NSW and New Zealand to make copious notes. Nice hide. SL. TFTC.
Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!
