Container has gone missing once more and a two story housing development overlooking the initial wpt has made the search area far more visible than we ever intended.
Unavailable until we can establish if inferred council works may interfere with the wpts!
My first multi with thanks to geohubs for risking spider bite and the geokid for his low level work. Lots of turtles showing their faces today, and some mini sailboats doing their thing. TNLN TFTC
Came to have a look but with the council worker weeding across the road and a full crew building just behind wp1, gave it a miss. Will be back
Wow took me a bit of searching to find both. But find them I did. My first multi cache.
First I needed the Walking Ladder, then onto my hands and knees. Whatever, I found it! I must remember never to rely on those who found it before!
Heading home and the gang decided to go for this before it got dark. The first wp provided a little difficulty but was soon solved. Then onto the final wp. A bit of scrambling and duck poo on the younger UTurned's shirt and the cache was ours. Logged and quickly hidden. As we headed back to the car amazingly we saw another caching gang scouting wp1. A little help soon had them on their way
After dropping GeoMum at indoor bowls we had a couple of hours to fill in before it was time to pick her up again, so what better way to spend it than looking for caches. This was the third for the afternoon. At WP1 trying to find WP2, we looked at the hint which probably explained why we had not made the find due to being vertically challenged. Mr Pooky had an idea and with the use of the 4WD he soon had the co ordinates for GZ in hand and off we went. Once at GZ we soon found the cache and the log was signed. We were going to go for a walk around the Lake but decided to leave it for another day as the wind chill factor was below zero. TFTC and bringing us to this great spot. TNLN.
After having a lovely picnic lunch at Lake Neangar with family, we headed off to look for a nearby cache. Had a enjoyable walk around the very full Lake. Enjoyed seeing the bird life.
Thanks to cache owner for replacing missing cache we found it and thousands of little ants!!
Indeed there are plenty of waterbirds around here. At WP1, mistermagee and I spent a bit of time searching all the possible nooks and crannies to no avail. Eventually, I asked the much taller mistmermagee if he had searched a particular spot and it turned out to be precisely where the necessary information was! Then a short walk and a quick find for the cache. We are getting the hang of these Romax caches! TFTC
Away on a geocache weekend to Bendigo with diana8 and JulesC21. Our goal is to find 30 multis in the month of June. This was number 19 for the weekend and number 8 for Sunday.
This one had a stumped. diana8 and I searched high, we search low. Then after searching in a previously explored spot, I suddenly just placed my hand on our target. Eureka!
The cache was a quick find nearby and we enjoyed looking at the birdlife busily searching for food on the lawns. I even spied a cormorant fishing nearby.
Thanks for a yet another very cleverly hidden cache.

Found it finally! I'd been here several times before but had to leave due to heavy muggle activity in the area! First thing this morning after dropping geoson at school it was lovely and quiet here and was able to sign and replace without being noticed. Thank you for bringing me to this lovely place and for the cache Romax Alvin the Alligator enjoyed the scenery
Found this one today and a bonus few photos of a group of pelicans . When I found the first part it was early morning on a Sunday but then there were too many people running around the lake to continue with locating the cache. Today all was quite at lunchtime and a quick find, sign log, replace and retreat. Thanks for this cache at a lovely scenic place, Romax
This was a nice child-friendly cache which I found with my 3yo daughter. At WP1 I was able to use a reflective device to locate the object I was seeking without exploring anywhere with my fingers. With the location of the micro confirmed and no muggle to be seen, the coordinates for GZ were easily gathered. After a short and very pleasant walk (despite the heat), I soon spotted the cache and the log book was signed. Not being a weekend, the area was relatively quiet today which helped. So nice to do a straightforward multi with my 3yo since most of the caches around Bendigo that I'm still yet to find are better done alone. Thanks for the hunt and the cache Romax!
We were thoroughly enjoying our evening caching around Bendigo, on a lovely balmy spring evening. This little multi was no trouble to navigate but brought us to a beautiful location, especially on such a pleasant night. No muggles around either. Chunk was able to do the reaching at WP1 and Chook made the find at the final location - a nice team effort. Thank you for bringing us all the way out here Romax.
Have tried waypoint 1 a couple of times but there were aways too many people about, on foot or in passing cars. This time, in the anonymity of the dark, geohusband and I managed a more relaxed search. The many redbacks and other scary arachnids were offputting but the micro was spotted at last. GZ was much more simple. Thanks for the fun, Romax!
Found with Teamlauren. Doormatt had previously found this one but decided to watch on!!
A nice quick find, thanks for the cache
A nice quick find, thanks for the cache
We put on our coats and headed out in the rain, we thought we weren't going to find wp1 but Mr Regan continued to look in the same spot over again and came up with the goods! Off we set out in the drizzle to find the cache, a pleasure as always thanks Romax
Another day caching, in the Bendigo area.
Arrived at the given co-ords, and found the required information after a short search.
Headed to GZ, and quickly located the cache.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Romax, for us and others to find.

Oh yeah! I must admit we have been here a few times looking for this cache. Even brought in additional help. But today was the day where the thinking caps were well and truly well oiled. Now our name is written in the log book. TFTC
Thanks for this multi. Really cool WP1, the cache took us a while to find. Caching with McLookers while we were visiting Bendigo.
Visiting Bendigo for the weekend with Geograndma, GeoPa and Tomstache, we earmarked some multis and the closest cache to Tomstache's centroid to attempt on this beautiful day.
We made our way to the listed co-ords and started to look around. We put GeoPa into action and he had no luck. Geodad came to the rescue and found the very clever WP1. Both GeoPa and Geodad had certainly searched that area but not thoroughly enough! Now, it was off to GZ. We were lucky that there were not too many muggles around to day which meant that we could search freely. It still took us at least 10 minutes to make the find though! The cache was very well hidden. Thanks for the challenge and for the excellent multi Romax, yet another part of Bendigo we had not seen before.

Spent time looking for this micro and like the other two previous cachers could not find it. Since I will now be a frequent visitor to this area I would like to find it.
Maybe a maintenance check is required. Will keep a monitor on this one. Thank you

Found at night with ronnienash. Even with it getting quite late we still had to use some stealth as there were a few muggles around. TFTC.

Being a Public holiday in St.Arnaud we decided to head over to Eaglehawk for some shopping and caching. After a short walk from the main drag of Eaglehawk and I was after a crafty hide from Romax and after searching a couple of spots at WP1 I soon put my hand on something strange. What a cool way to give the coords for the cache.
Then just a short walk back and a brief search I had the cache in hand. After I had my name in the log, it was a quick look over the shoulder to check for muggles and cache was back in its hide,

Suscoe arrived at the first Wpt and found the information required.
Loaded the GPS and off to GZ.
A quick search revealed not much, trying to over think the hide we think.
Took another look and the cache was found!
Thanks to Romax for this nice offset.
Mainly seagulls here today, would have been impressive when there were more birds!

I previously logged this as found when I shouldnt have, sorry. After failing to find Wp1, we attempted to extrapolate the final GZ (by that I mean cheat) [:o] We found something we thought was this cache and wrongly logged a find, oops.. this mistake was recently revealed to me, so tonite we set out to finished this cache. We did find the cache this time
Thanks for the fun Romax.
Previous entry I wrong logged:
"Looked for Wp1 in the dark the other night and got spotted by people walking around the lake who knew what we were searching for. They offered to give us a clue but we had only just started searching and thought we would find it eventually.. we shoulda let them give us a clue, I still havent found Wp1, but after reading all the logs, finding GZ was finally today. Thanks Romax.
Now to find Wp1.."

Today was a big day with 57 finds in the Bendigo area with Honeysucker including an event to celebrate Tigersden's 250 hides. Finished up the day with some night caching in the CBD. Tommorow is the 4WD event to the east of Bendigo.
Quick find and sign - the ants love this one too. TFTC.

We were a little nervous about going to hunt for our first elusive Romax cache, but were pleasantly surprised when it wasn't too difficult! Main issue was muggles, they were everywhere! TFTC Romax- look forward to doing more of yours soon!
Finally found it after search at WP1..
Thanks Romax for bring me here and cache

Found at 4.05pm. Had a few tries to find this over twelve months ago. I thought that I'd give it another try today, as I have a little more caching experience now and have learnt to be more thorough with my hands aswell as my eyes. This time I found the wpt easilly which led me to the cache which was hidden in a common type of location.
Was lucky because the nearby muggles walked off as we were approaching gz.
The cache is in good condition and has a few swaps remaining. TFTC. TNLN

Found at 4pm, I needed help with the first part of this one as im a little horizontilly challenged, the next part was fun, not sure who got the bigger fright, us or the ducks. TFTC
Took two goes to find WP 1 but soon had the coordinates and went of in search of the final prize. Really need to grow a bit taller for some of these romax hides! Introduced my sister to geocaching!
wp1 was tricky to find but manage with the help of my sister.

For some reason teh frog spotted the wpt1. I restrained him from destroying it as in his movie. You get the picture. Just as well the prize was located! Clear skies from TeamAstro.
I think this has now been my fourth visit to this hide. It is amazing how something gets under your skin until you can solve it. However, after catching up with Romax yesterday and a couple of clues later I finally found the micro!! It was then a straight forward find for the ultimate prize.
Thanks Romax!!
Thanks Romax!!
Spent a good hour with the whole family looking for WP1 this afternoon and couldn't find it. Came back after dark and still couldn't find it. Having read all the logs again, we were able to finally find the cache. Wish we could have found the micro first though.
Both the initial micro and the container at GZ are still in place but we have raised the difficulty level a notch as the first point has proved illusive to some searchers
423. Boy this trip to Bendigo is helping on my way to a half century of DNFs. No luxury of being able to read through previous logs after failing to find WP1.
I'll be honest this one had me stumped for about half an hour. After some frantic searching and reading though the previous logs I managed to finally come up with the coordinates for the final, wasn't going to leave until i had found the cache. Quickly located and retrieved the cache at GZ.

Second Romax multi for the day that I have been unable to find WP1. Getting very frustrated.....
Next time maybe.
Next time maybe.
Well, we searched around and around here with Rob, Rosie and the 3 rosebuds to no avail. Came over for the Events, there certainly are some lovely spots in Bendigo. Tried to use our caching nouse but thoughts can get interrupted. Reading the logs on the way home I've an idea to try another time that might make a difference. No doubt it will seem quite simple when we know! Cheers
Up in Bendigo today for the Flash Mob and Marong meet and greet events. Met up with my mate Blacklegend (Marshy) and cached together for the day; which was rather warm and getting progressively humid as well. Searched for WP1 and realised it must be missing. After reading a few logs and the description, got a pretty good idea of where the cache might be; found in the first place e looked. TFTC.
One find of 60 for the day with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) and a couple of my kids, Jasmine and James on our second "Big Bendigo Cache Bash...." In town for the events as well of course.
Looked like the 1st WP was missing, or hidden a bit better than we expected. So, reading a bit further, and using a bit of caching nouse, the final was in the first place we put our hands.... A bit lucky maybe??? Nice spot. TFTC.

Grabbed while up from Melbourne for the 2 local events. Spladem and I had a great time doing all these great local caches. TFTC
we also implemented some Intuition on this one and were soon signing the log.. Thanks Romax for the cache.. Found with C@H whilst in the area finding 70 odd caches for the weekend..
Greetings from Denmark.
Could not find first WP, but used intution to find the cache anyway. It revealed itself in second place searched.
As I was replacing the container two ladies came by, so I had to do the shoelace-trick.

finally finish it, and somehow got my hand on it in the end. Thanks for the replacement, It's nice to know I didn't go stupid the first time . Cheers.
Container had indeed disappeared since our last visit, as have most of the water birds that have been forced to depart by councils recent majors works!
New container and log book is now back in place.

This was our first attempt at geocaching.
Looked around for ages, even argued about who's GPS was more accurate, given slight discrepancies.
Spent about 30 mins searching - but to no avail...
There didn't seem that many places to look - guess there must be!
We're newbies to this geocaching lark - but having looked for 3 separate caches and found nothing we're feeling pretty rubbish!
That one give me hard time so call helpline - finally found it - excellent hide spot but ant bother me grr... SL. Thanks Romax for organising the cache and hunt.
No problems with the multi and when we arrived at GZ we met up with the Honeysuckers again.
Fortunately the cache was in the second spot I looked [^]
Cheers again Romax

Found the cache after getting my feet wet, although I don't know why I bothered. Bluey and Squid had given up when I found it. Loved the spot, competed in a Billy Cart race here many years ago. TFTC Romax. Cheers.
Found with the Cat Lady, this cache was alright considering were it was located.

Nice hide.
Spotted the WP easy enough and after a detour got to GZ, where with a bit of searching we extracted the cache.
They sure seem to have spent a bit of cash doing this place up.
TNLN TFTC, find #655 for Echo & Spice.
** Note: Be careful with the WP, it's attachment seems like it might have come loose.

WPT 1- Found by 379Jonti379 but he could not get it, so Hanseeka Husband got it with a strong hand. Liked the location of this waypoint as it was the site for my 18th and 21st birthday parties, vague memories now lol.
GZ- Found this quite quickly making the young buck 379Jonti379 to do the hard work, hanseeka and I were able to SL.

After finding one of your other caches near bye we headed over to this one.
Finding the clue to GZ was the easy part, the hard part was retrieving to clue to GZ...
A short walk to the cache location where a 5 min search found the cache.

Available again but we may have to reconsider the cache name as council is certainly harassing the local water birds with the remake of their nearby "Haven"!
Council have fenced off the posted co-ordinates while repairs are being made to the associated water works. We will keep an eye on these works and bring back on line ASAP.
This was a very tricky hide and we needed to call Romax for a hint after three visits to stage 1, but no luck finding the clues. Thanks for your help Romax - it's easy to find when you know where to look.
Stage 2 took some time, mainly due to the conversation with dog walkers - but the light faded and they all went home.

The second attempt at this one, managed to locate point one, and still no lunck initially with the second location. After a very enjoyable gathering with fellow cachers, this was an easy find very nearby. (Although I say this tongue-in-cheek. We didn't actually find this cache. It was in the hands of another cacher as we arrived at GZ.)
As we about to replace the cache, another team arrived. I think they might have peeked as I replaced the cache.
Thanks again Romax.
