My apologies, I was leaving them until all attendees had a chance to find them before I picked them up. Have done so now!!
So sorry we couldnt make it to meet all our fellow cachers.
We were waiting on some buyers for our house, I thought we might have been able to make it later in the afternoon but it just didnt turn out that way !*#@!!. Have to wait now till next time, oh man...
Sounds like you all had fun, I was thinking of you all at the time. Well done GSV on organising the event. Hope another is on its way sometime.
Cheers,

Great event, thanks Gerard. If only I had looked under _all_ the trees, I could have easily go the FTF!
I am so jealous as I would loved to have been there but between work committments and Tramping club newsletter I just couldn't get away.
Thanks to all who attended, great to catch up.
I've loaded a pic of the colours/course - pity it doesn't show the elevation
Cheers,
Gerard

Thanks for a well organised and fun event. It was good to be able to put some more faces to the names and meet up again with some already known cachers. The colours course cache was our teams 1st FTF! Shame it doesn't really count We will make good use of the prize . Thanks again, Catch ya round, Happy caching.
Were planning to attend this event on August 27th. Happened to be doing cache "The Troll" on the 26th at the same time as event cache was due to start tomorrow, and as we returned to car noticed a geocaching sticker on a car window???? Did know this was the place where the event was to be held tomorrow so assumed this was someone preparing for event cache, then Bitsprayer drove up in his nice new non-salty "cacher" registration car, ha!??! Confused now, saw about 10 people with flash looking GPS devices walking off into botanic gardens. Oh dear, I got the day wrong but just happen to be here anyway! What luck. Scored a good course (yellow) for the event cache and ended up in a three way search for the final cache. Team Chelmo pulled off the win but we scored lots of crunchie bars. Yay! Thanks GSVnofixedabode for organising such a terrific event (and giving me an excuse to find about 35 caches during the wekend between ChCh and Dunedin).
Great event well done GSV well timed with the weather not long after it pored down.

Our first ever Event, and a nice one. Well constructed multi-cache around the gardens with multiple paths, and flags, coins, TBs, food and drink! We enjoyed the afternoon, so much so we spent far longer than anyone else out in the gardens. We did find every cache on our own though.
I was finishing up some work overnight only hours before Mordor and Hello Mrs started their journey to the event! Nice to meet many of the hard-core caching enthusiasts. Thanks GSVNoFixedAbode!

Mordor&Andre kindly gave me a ride to Dunedin for this event. We left home at 5am caching along the way. We had it firmly in our heads the event was tomorrow. It was just coincidence which led us the the event site at the startingtime. So pleased we were able to participate in this well organised event. Thanks for the southern hospitality, we enjoyed your company. Will find a few caches in Dunedin tomorrow before heading home with a few new TB's.
Greetings from the UK, nice to see our Cuckoo Cache meeting cachers from and wide. Hoep you have a great event.
Attended with fiance - was very cool first event cache to attend - loved walking the gardens paths
Mordor&Andre has offered me a ride to Dunedin. All beeing well I will be at the event with a haul of TB's from Christchurch and beyond. Looking forward to seeing some southern cachers.
Dropping in our Compass Rose geocoin for a visit to this event. See you all in a couple of days
Planning a quick, caching trip to Dunedin this weekend. Will attend. But trip is dependent on weather.
Conspiricy.... these event caches seem to be organised for times Tiffany_and_Co are out of town! Sorry, but we're gonna miss this one too.
One of our team will be there, looking forward to meeting more of our fellow cachers. Dropping in an assortment of coins and a travel bug, Hopefully more to come
Sounds like fun, will certainly come along and have a blast. Kat may not make it as she's working a night shift the night before but I'm keen as mustard.
Cheers,

Sounds good fun. I will do my best to be there, especially given that I missed the last one (and the coffee that went with it ).
I think a couple of us can make it. The junior memebers of the team will all be in Auckland with their school choir, but the seniors should be up for a nice walk around the gardens.
Its got to be better than work...we will be giving our best shot to be there.
Sorry, we would love to come on a caching expedition to Dunedin but we are tied up with some Belly Dancers that night. (Liz's other, less physically and mentally demanding, hobby).
Damn!!! I have (had) something else this weekend , guess I will have to try get out of it so I can attend. We have managed to source some cool trackables from over seas to be released in NZ , "Team Pez" has arrived from Portugal and the others should be here before the event, so maybe if I can't attend someone else could bring them for me? Will do my best to come though.
