Nice easy find and combined with some excellent south Devon birding which included Penduline Tit, all 3 scoters, all 3 divers, all 5 grebes, Iceland Gull and 2 Cattle Egret.
Finally I can log an overseas find - and the one closest to the ancestors home of origin. No deer but plenty of ewes and lambs on a cool shortest day. TNLN, cheers (trying to type on a French keyboard)
We were going to leave this one until the campers had disappeared as we can see the field from our house. However, we decided we'd have a go today and the cache retrieval was no problem anyway.
Didn't see the deer but spotted a heron nearby.
