Sorry to see this one go after many years with zero issues, it has been deliberately targeted on multiple occasions this year.
Sadly the cache has been muggled again - looks like someone is deliberately targeting it after such a long time previously undisturbed. All contents have now been removed. Frustratingly, the stamp pad and bottom section of the large sistema container were not in situ.
This is such a fun idea!! I wish I could have spent more time to have a little look through all the postcards here but it was getting dark. Unfortunately the cache looked like it had been a little ransacked when I got there and there were unused postcards everywhere. I cleaned it all up and hid the container where I assumed it had to go. Such an awesome cache!!! Thank you Tealby!!
Had a good time bashing my way around Isaacs Ridge in the dark this evening. I was planning to tackle the new Tealby AL, but for some reason my phone wouldn't let me log into the AL app - so I focused on the real world options in the area.Quick find very close to the path! Wonderful idea for a log inside!TFTC!
I was in Canberra for the night travelling home after picking up a wiz bang telescope for my son in Parramatta. This cache was one of my big target caches for the trip, needing it for for a couple of challenge caches I am working on.I arrived at the parking coords just on dusk so I grabbed my headtorch and headed of for the walk to GZ. I love the idea behind this cache and one I was there I carefully selected my post card ready to write it and send it to the CO. There is a good selection here after the mega waiting for the CO to pick them up.Thank you Tealby for a great Letterbox
Target cache. The 3rd oldest letterbox in Australia and the oldest Letterbox in the ACT. Took the short stroll to gz, a quick find there. Nice to see theme of the letterbox still active. fav point.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Day 5 of mogni and sir_spectre visit the ACT. Today was a mixed bag, old caches, letterbox, trad and wherigo and hunting letterboxes, more multies and stamping challenges as we passed and of course targetting favourite caches, oh and what everelse we happened upon. As per normal if a cache needed a bit of love, it got it. Lots of micro logsheets added today. Thanks to Tealby from mogni

Our last tour during Capital Geobash in Canberra and it was wonderful! Special thanks to Tealby for hosting us on this tour of Isaac's Ridge!Another oldie for us! What a special idea for a geocache! Favorite point awarded!
We are in Canberra for the Geobash mega and this is the last official tour being the Isaac Ridge puzzle tour. Its a cooler day and out with a group of about nine people, having a lovely walk in the bush. Signed as TT2Thank you to Tealby for leading an excellent tour
Found by Mary and David at 10:20 with the second "A Puzzling Tour of Isaacs Ridge" group. Signing as TT2 (Tealby Tour #2). Our first for the day. Sent Tealby a postcard about the Werribee Park Mansion, which is close to maccamob HQ, on behalf of the group. A well planned Tour with a great mix of cache types and terrains. Some lovely views along the way too. Our thanks to Tealby.
The rain cleared up for another awesome day as a group of geo cachers lead by Tealby took on lssaacs Ridge Nature Reserve as part of the Canberra Mega side events. An awesome 5 hours of meandering through this bush as a group. Many thanks to Tealby for your time. Logs signed TT2.
Cheeky! AND Hip hip hooray for Tealby - here we are on the ISAACS Ridge tour she has kindly put together. Here for the NNF (National Folk Festival) plus the MEGA so its full on in the supersaturated cache CAPITAL all the way from NE Vic AGAIN! Love the ambience and serenity.and the wandering wanders with buddies. Signed I have. TFTC, the lure to visit, the challenge and the FUN.
Geobash Easter Mega - Day #4 (Easter Sunday 31/3)Day four saw me having a chill out day. I decided on going finding quality hides instead of quantity. The day started with the event GCAMJ0W but given I arrived early, I did the nearby tree climb. I also joined the flag parade up Mt Ainslie. I found a couple of historic hides as well as some higher terrain caches. I really enjoyed a day of taking it slow and not rushing around everywhere. I also avenged some previously DNFed caches which one of them I now understand why it took me so attempts to find it. I also found a few labs and once I got back to the motel it was time to get ready for my big power trail day tomorrow. TB visit. If the cache wasnt signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTEs & TFTCs While on my way back to the ute, I stopped off for this historic letterbox. I wanted to find it because the CO is threatening to archive it. It's a shame I didn't get to find the original container but I am very glad to have now stamped it off the to-find-list. Thanks so much for placing this cache and now off to the next one.
Found this during a fantastic weekend away at the Canberra Mega, with gridge98, Freddo, Team Waldron, e.gregory1, Davidwazza and Featherwaite. The log books were either signed with the name ABP or our individual caching names. Was an excellent Mega, grateful to be part of it!
I think this might be the nicest letterbox cache weve found! Initially I was bummed, thinking Id forgotten to bring a postcard with me, but the container was filled with a huge stash for visitors. Lovely big hidey spot here. I really hope this one stays in play for a long time to come.
Found during the Mega event in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Our team comprised courtneyrose_, Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Featherwaite, Freddo, gridge98 and Team Waldron, signing the logs as ABP to save time, and space in the logbooks, or with our individual caching names. Enjoyed a great weekend away finding a rewarding range of cache types, d/t combinations, cache hides and retrievals. Thanks for the cache Tealby!
Part of the Sandgroper contingent that has come to the Mega to explore new hunting grounds. Its sure to be a great week with many finds and laughs with lots of great friends and maybe some new ones along the way. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Logged as WA6

TFTC! A nice bit of a walk out to this one from the parking area. Found the most appropriate postcard, with an appropriate date stamped on it too. Thanks so much for bringing me here. Found this one with Bunadoorian and Grub62, with Grub62 making the find!
What a great cache with some novel ideas. A pleasant walk to GZ and the fun logbook. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
bunadoorian, Smiley1982 and myself hatched a plan to find as many different types of caches we could today. This was our sixth type and nineth cache for today. I loved this letterbox cache. The selection of postcards was spot on and we could all find one with some significance to us personally. Another favourite point from me. TFTC Tealby
Thanks for an amazing Geocache a great better history and awesome opportunity to do one of the oldest letterbox cases in the ACT. Thank you

The third day in Canberra and surrounds for the OzMega Geobash across the Easter weekend.Made my way to the event location for the first time today and enjoyed some of the festivities there throughout the morning. The afternoon was filled caching all over the place with a high priority placed on older caches to help fill Jasmer grids.Another day filled with an amazing variety of cache types and containers were located and with a large group the competition to get hands on the log first was high, with plenty of laughs along the way too. Thanks Tealby for placing Isaacs Post Office for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 17:20 on 29/3/2024.This is find number 8534 for me.
Very happy to be here for my first Mega event from WA. Out to fill my grid and find some high favourited caches. Lots of laughs catching up with old friends and making some new friends along the way. Signing as a team - WA6Some logs are delayed and out of order - Apologies for that- its been hectic trying to keep up! Many thanks Tealby for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures.
I am in Canberra for the Capital City Geobash and I targeted this cache because it was old and it was a regular. As I parked my car a group of deadly treadly users assembled near GZ but fortunately they soon moved on. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
Thank you for the cache!Ironford and I travelled to Canberra for the MEGA, and we had a really lovely time. It was a great idea to have geocaching tours around the main event - we got to meet the local geocaching community, and we got a lot of advice and education, too. I appreciated it very much, as Australia was a totally new environment for me, and some outdoor safety rules were so different from back home. That included: drop bears ??, widow makers, kangaroo mobs (if there's one 'roo, there'll be more), caution around snakes and spiders, the usefulness of gaiters (not gators), and a proper way to step over fallen logs (let's knock first to see if someone's home). All of this delivered with delightful cheek and banter. And we DID heed the advice during our further travels, it was definitely useful.Isaacs Ridge was a beautiful area to explore. Thank you, Tealby, for being a great and welcoming guide! Your idea to bring along those cool tissues for refreshment was brilliant. Thank you all for making it such a great experience! I enjoyed the tour and all the caches very much.
So sorry to see this one go. I loved the stamp! Definitely awarding a favourite point.A huge thank you to the cache owner for creating and maintaining a wonderful cache. EP79 and I have embarked on a three-month long geocaching trip across the globe, and we are both grateful and thrilled to discover new places and new friends. The first part of our trip is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand. Today we embark on a wonderful adventure provided by the MEGA Capital Geobash and a local geocaching community. Many thanks to Tealby for taking us on the tour of Isaacs Ridge and many thanks to all great cachers, who provided such fun and inspiring company. Sorry for logging with a delay. The trip was really busy, but at least I get to revisit these caches again and enjoy great memories. Many thanks for the invite to a beautiful place and for a wonderful geocaching adventure. Greetings from Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe.
TFTC Tealby your cache Isaacs Post Office that we found today. We are in Canberra for the fun and games of the Mega.Today was the first organised Tours. We opted for the Isaac Ridge Tour. It was disappointing that 2 caches had gone walkabout inspite of being recently checked. Find Count: 19289

The Adelaide Leap Day Mega and Canberra Geobash gave us a great excuse for a road trip. This trip has shown us so many new and interesting places as weve chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites.Meeting up with friends old and new along the way, we sometimes cached together and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Today we took a hike up, down and around Isaacs Ridge with the puzzling tour, hosted by the lovely Tealby. An enjoyable time in good company, we chatted away as we walked along both on and off trail. The weather was kind to us and the 5 hours seemed to pass quickly. We had some lovely views from several stops along the way as well. Very happy to be able to sign this one after its recent muggling. Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache and adding to our enjoyment.
09:43What an adventure - Together with like minded geocachers we gathered at Sheperdson Place, before tackling the steep climbs and the prickles of the 16,600 steps over some 10.2 kms. Along the trail there was a great variety of caches to be found, including this one, some puzzles, multis, traditionals and a wherigo. (Yes we did make it to the Wildbark Experience Event). We signed the logs TT1 and our touring party consisted of Phetlern, FelixII, DisSister, The Morris, pprass, MeAndDe, HansAndLinda, Wollaston, Tealby, Ironford and EP79.Diana ( Tealby) was a wonderful chaperone - patient & understanding. Also a BIG thank you to the CO's who contributed caches.36731
Found with the group doing the Tealby Isaac Tour, all logs were signed as TT1.At time it was a hot tough walk but there was a bit of fun as well. Thanks for the tour and the cache Tealby
Sadly, after almost 18 years without mishap, this cache has been stolen. I will be replacing with a temporary solution for the period of the mega (& my tours) but then it will be archived.
Found at 10.16am Tuesday, after a nice stroll from the Capital GeoBash proposed tour start point .Great hide which had no cover but it does now .Fav point for the walking trail , size, cards inside and tranquil setting. Many thanks to Tealby .
This was so much fun! It was actually the first letterbox cache Ive ever done, and it seemed fitting that it would turn out to (assumedly) be the first letterbox cache in Canberra I took a long time to complete this cache, as I took my time looking through each of the supplied postcards, and then (Im not sure if I should be admitting this!) I had a bit of a stickybeak through some of the completed postcards. I dont recall ever sending a postcard, so originally I was just looking at a few to see how to fill it out, but then I got intrigued by how many people were actually just visiting Canberra at the time of doing this cache. Though it wasnt even 9 in the morning when Id found the post office, I had a few run-ins with muggles on the path, and I kept checking the coast was clear every time I went to bring the cache container out.Im a bit autistic, and Ive always been a bit obsessed with travel and exploring. The only souvenir Ive ever really been interested in, though was postcards! As I got older to that point where Im now able to go travelling and exploring independently, Ive started collecting a postcard from each of the places Ive stayed in on my travels. Today I selected a beautiful postcard from Albury, NSW, as this was one of the (many!) places Ive researched and considered moving to if I eventually get to move away from Canberra, my hometown. Please take my third ever favourite point - This was a fun cache, and if this is what letterboxing is like then I might just have to go hunt down a few more
Brilliant idea!! We loved this cache - thanks so much for putting it together and maintaining it for us to enjoy. We eventually picked this lovely fernery card, but there were so many to choose from it was a hard choice.A favourite point coming your way Tealby!
Visiting from Adelaide to see family for the festive season, and today its time to tackle more caches in the Wanniassa area including some puzzles solved in 2021 that I havent had a chance to get to until today.Found this cache and signed the log. Love the cards here. FP for the concept. Many thanks for the placement and the ongoing maintenance!
I found myself on the south side of town this morning for an appointment. As I had a twofold target for today's caching adventure, I decided to work over here. The first aim was to complete enough finds to earn the current souvenir, and the other was to qualify for a Challenge Cache requiring me to find caches with 90000 Favourite Points. I had an absolutely fabulous time as every cache that I tried for had been appreciated by my fellow cachers. This was one of them, and I understand why it has so many FPs. It now has another one from me. TFTC SLI loved this cache, and thanks for the very comfortable seat. I sat on the huge stump while I wrote an epistle to you, Tealby.
I had been meaning to come down here for a while. Today, in glorious spring weather, I strolled up from the car park and chose my postcard. It wasn't that easy with such a great selection.

First find in Isaacs. Very fun letterbox and great hide.
We decided to swing by here after a jog around Isaacs Ridge with a muggle mate (said muggle was not privy to the retrieval), and it was well worth it. A truly excellent geocache. Thanks Tealby!

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Yay… this is our #5,500 cache and we’re glad it’s this old letterbox.
That’s an awesome idea in this letterbox. Hope you get a chance to read your mail sometimes.
And what a huge stump that is! It’s a whopper.

Such a great idea for a letterbox. I hope the CO collects them periodically and reads them. Thanks for the cache
Dropping off this TB that has come with us all the way from north wester Queensland. He should stand a better chance of hitching a ride here!
Loved this cache, and it aroused my long lost talent for letter writing... if only international stamps weren't so prohibitively expensive! I chose a PC of Kalgoorlie. Not only am I a stranded Western Australian (stuck in ACT since Sept last year, but there are way worse places to be stranded than gorgeous Canberra! I am also thoroughly unimpressed by the idiot protesters currently infesting this town...) due to COVID lock out conditions in my home state. On the other hand our rules meant my caching buddy and I were able to cover about 10,000 km exploring our state in 2000, including a caching trip to Kal, Esperance and Albany. As it was many years since my previous trip I was very impressed with the changes in Kal. Extremely livable. Thanks for this cache, the best letterbox one I have visited.
Out today for a big bike ride. My goal was to complete the Canberra Centennial Trail - Section 7B multi cache. Big ride and actually left at 2 o'clock because we had cousins over so I could only leave when they leave. Well that was a bit of a mistake as this section of the track wasn't exactly easy and ended up taking me about 7 hours. In the end I had to get picked up because it was too dark for me to continue. Got some good caches today while heading down the CCT trail, as well as one that filled a hole in my D/T matrix which is always nice. Great day and thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches so others can find them. TFTC!

We had lived in Canberra for a number of years while Geocaching, and although this one was on the list for us to find, somehow when work required us to move north we still have not found it.
With borders open, we have driven south to be with family over the summer, dividing our time between Sydney and Canberra.
This one was a priority, given we had missed it in the past.
Added to this, by finding this when we are able to complete the challenge of GC80M86 , one of Orange Crew’s in QLD.
Thanks Tealby. So happy to send you a postcard on our adventure south over the summer!

Lockdown has bought a totally different approach to caching with the introduction of homework! Much time for homework in fact. Therefore many more puzzles solved, both as a solo and collective effort. Thanks to my fellow geo buddies for assistance when needed.
And in between there are still some traditionals, though not nearly as many of them left these days
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to Tealby for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Thanks to Tealby for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!
In the area today visitng my daughter and I headed out grabbing a few caches while she was at work. I parked nearby and enjoyed the stroll to GZ where the cache was soon in hand.
I sat nearby and completed my task before replacing all as found.

TFTC great idea! We were off to Paris as we want to get back to Europe Some day!
My 100th Letterbox, and your 50th FP. Can I recycle this idea back in SA? This is Cache of the Day for me. Thanks Tealby.
Found on the way back down Isaacs Ridge with the GeoDog after gaining an answer for an AL at the top. This is the first letterbox cache we've looked for, and it was really good fun! The younger GeoKid selected a postcard and has sent you some (stamped) mail, Tealby - thanks so much for placing and maintaining such an interesting cache.
Being in the area i stopped in here to send off my post card, it seems ive been on Holidays somewhere in Asia lol
This cache was alot of fun and something different, well worth a fav!

In Canberra this weekend as part of the Grumpy Old Mates (GOMs) adventure on Isaac's Ridge. Having spent a beautiful sunny morning cleaning up the UGC series, met up nearby with the rest of the GOMs, but not before Team Canary and I ducked off to post some postcards. I'm in need of a lot more letterbox hybrids for a challenge, so great to add another one to the list

This trip is the....
Mad Mega/AUSmer 9x9 Mission....
I need 9 hidden month caches to complete the AUSmer challenges and 9 D/Ts to finish my fizzy grid but on this trip, priority is going to the AUSmers.
It was a quick 4013 km trip from Brisbane to the Mega in Wooloongong.
5 states in 5 days (okay, one was a territory) to finish the AUSmer and a few other challenges....
Went through Qld, NSW, Victoria, a loop into South Australia then all the way back across to eastern Victoria for the last AUSmer cache. From there I turned north and went up through the A.C.T. and then to the Mega in Wooloongong. Phew!
On the "home stretch" now and will get to Wooloongong by tomorrow morning. I try and grab a cache in an area I haven't cached before for the LGA challenges and this one was also helpful for an oldie challenge. Even though it was quite late and single digit cold, I decided to try and find this one. Found a closer park and set off into the night and thankfully found it quickly. Didn't think to bring a scenic postcard with me so I selected the "Nerve" movie one, as being here on my own that late at night was testing my nerve! Quickly squiggled a message and posted it before returning the cache to its hide and scampering back to the car quick stix!

Down from Brisbane for the Clear Waters Mega, with a geocache laundry list carefully compiled for collection during our stay . Your cache was one of many found during our short visit.
Always nice to find a letterbox, but especially nice to find an older one, and with some effort involved in making it special.

Log signed at 06:25 and cache returned as found . Thanks for adding to my Clear Waters experience and the smilie **Tealby**

Find No: 7124. Attending the Mega in Queanbeyan, the Garmin GPSMAP64s karked it yesterday but we are (just) managing with a couple of older models, this now makes 50 Letterbox caches so we qualify for another UGC challenge, sent a post card from Penang, thanks for the cache Tealby!!
Found while attending the Clear Waters Mega event at Queanbeyan.
Today I teamed up with interstate cachers to complete a varied selection of multis, traditionals and unknown caches that we had targeted.
Once again were were fortunate to have some great weather for it.
Thanks Tealby for the cache.

Out and about with a few caching buddies during the Mega. We found a number of caches today of varying D/Ts and desirability. My apologies for the generic log but I'm logging these over two weeks later and unless something sticks out I have somewhat hazy memories of these finds. Next time, I'll do what a fellow Victorian does and take multiple photos of the site such that it jogs the memory bank.
My thanks to all the COs who've put out caches for the community to enjoy and/or some mind bending puzzles. All good fun.

My first cache in Canberra. A lot of effort gone into this one. Used the post card closest to home. Noosa. This cache helps complete a Qld challenge cache.
Out and about in Canberra grabbing a few caches whilst attending Mega event. This cache was targeted for a particular challenge. This was a great cache and will be awarded a favourite point. TFTC.
Today was the first day of caching in Canberra on my own, with my travelling buddies Dez (JezNDez) and Lennondayz29 having flown back to Brisbane yesterday. With plenty of caches on my to-do list for today and a couple of seminars at the Mega on my agenda for later in the day, an early start was required to fit it all in.
After spending the morning walking around Callum Brae Nature Reserve, I decided to move on to a quick stroll around Isaac's Ridge Nature Reserve before heading back to the Mega event to attend a couple of seminars. This was one of the caches I managed to fit in as a last minute stop on the way back to the Mega. Picked up the TB inside the cache. TFTC

Overwhelmed by so much temptation in and around the Clear Waters Mega precinct, chose to concentrate on caches while in town that assisted or completed challenges I’m chasing. This one ticked off both a “large” and “interstate letterbox”. Parked up within a reasonable distance but with terrain questionable compared to rating, re-read description and approached from another direction for a much easier stroll. Rock-hopper and I chose our postcard and were soon back on our way to other adventures to write home about (well log online).
An old letterbox cache! How could I resist!!? I parked at the parking cords and took a lovely stroll to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located. I sent my postcard then left a tb to continue on its journey. TFTC
