Cache has been found and removed!

One last find for this geocache!

Sometimes I go out to find archived caches that may have no been removed before archive.

Today I set my sights on this one.

I found the container and I am collecting the container so that it’s doesn’t become “geo-rubbish”!

Sorry to read about the CO passing. Was a nice spot for a cache. Hopefully someone else places one here in the future!

Cache owner has passed away. Cache is being archived at the request of the cache owner's family.

Found 3/10/19. Container was knocked over so treasure was wet. Have swapped the cards for a TY figure ....turned container upside down so hopefully won’t get wet.

Continuing enjoying some new spots on a sunny day. I never knew this place existed, lots of cars parked but no one around. Nice quick find, updated co ords spot on. Cache wet, dried it out and added a plastic bag for the damp logbook. Very peaceful spot with nice views. Correct co-ords are S36 56.858 E174 40.105.

GPS GZ again bang on and no problems to locate this hide. Thanks!

Found it thanks for the cache

I'm house sitting in the area and as we finally had a nice sunny day at the weekend I went for an explore of the area to find some caches. This was a nice quick find once I read through logs and had the corrected co-ords. Unfortunately I had bush bashed to published co-ords before hand then when I couldn't find the cache I read some previous logs. The CO should really update the page so they don't get lost in the logs.

Correct co-ords are S36 56.858 E174 40.105

Great little walk, and glad I used the new posted coordinates, was able to find after a couple minutes. Tftc!

Took a bit of scrambling in the shrubbery and I'm lucky i read the logs ... please update the official coordinates CO.

Cache is not at listed coordinates, official location needs to be changed, not just a log entry

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

Cache is not at the official coordinates, so thanks to the person who posted the new ones! We took a very roundabout route but got there in the end it's a smallish plastic lunchbox, not apple sized.

Was a bit confusing since last finder moved it. Coordinates need to be updated officially.

Have moved cache to a more user friendly place rather than in dense bush which is where it was before.

Loves the hunt for this one, as with others i thought the gps was playing up, but after reading others and realising i was going bush great fun. Took a wee while to find but got thetr eventually. TFTC

I was here before with ivss_xx. we spend ages here, looking for it everywhere and also took some time to take a break, lie down and relax but had no luck in finding this cache. This time I'am alone, but, I really couldn't believe that I found it straight away. I have no idea how did we miss it last time.

Venturing further afield for the daily cache. Beautiful sunny day if a bit on the windy side! GPS lead us straight to it once we had admired the lovely view. Container is deteriorating badly and needs replacing. TFTC.

I thought the coords were out as I didn't expect to go that far in to the bush, but in fact coords are correct. Nice dry log, and nice view. TFTC

I searched all around GZ, but didn't find it right away. It turns out that I walked right next to the correct place, but didn't look in the right direction. On the second loop, I did look in the right direction and it was all over. TFTC.

#320. Found it fairly quickly. Note: manuka never grow this tall. The container is cracked so could do with replacing. The logbook was damp but I was still able to write in it. Awesome views across the harbour with the Skytower visible behind Green Bay. TFTC

Having just visited the 'Stone Bus Stop' cache I decided to get this one and then visit some friends who live less than 100m from gz! A quick find, my Gps signal possibly slightly off. Didnt really understand the hint. Lovely reserve and views

4.20pm. An interesting little peninsula. Quickly found the cache. The log was a little soggy which is not a good start for the winter. Placed it in a new plastic bag inside the old and split one. Left a pathtag.

took to exploring our way to wards dinner at titirangi via the back roads, had to wack this one on the head as it came up close to our route from newlynn... very interesting view of mud and mud and more mud.. at low time of cause and a cheeky tui giving us a great run down on how many other cachers had been that way;-)

Btw - the bag closure is gone and the log is a little damp;-) ( didnt have any spares in the pocket sadly)

First one of the day. Stopped by here after the gym for a couple caches, decided to wait rush hour out by caching!

Came out here, and found a track that lead me to the GZ. From there it took a wee bit of looking around, as I was initially assuming a different type of hide, and so had already disregarded the spot where the cache was from a distance as it didn't look like it fitted.

Had to take a closer look after still not finding, and yay! There it was! Found it this time round! It was very very sneakily hidden there!

Was in Titirangi chasing a new cache, so decided to look for a couple of others that we hadn't previously found. A nice walk along the bay to GZ and quickly found the cache up the track.

Walked along to the end of the reserve and before getting our bearings right, one of us went down the wrong path and soon ended up on her butt on the slippery slope! So after carefully getting back to the reserve we wandered along the correct track and quickly found the cache.

My daughter and I out for the arvo on a quest to find a cache with a view to place traveler coin on a mission to see NZ. Lost gps for a while but zeroed in doing circles. Nice hide, TFTC! TSLS

My daughter and I were out clearing some caches in the area and this was one we definitely had to stop off at. There are some great views from this spot and we took a moment just to have a little look around. The cache was quickly found, but it is in a great hiding spot. The log was a little damp but not too bad. We signed off on it and returned it to its hiding spot. TFTC!

Cacheing in the rain...had to check out a few trees before we came across this one. GPS doesnt lock on very well in this area.

First find. Didn't take too long. Only 1.5million or so to go
