While waiting for my family to return and pick me up, I had just enough time to wander over and pick up this cache. At GZ the beasty was quickly spotted. Log signed, cache replaced. I love this area.
Thanks for the cache Dusty Pair

Hi there Dusty Pair. We found your cache "Dam This Is Nice" at 11:16:00 AM today.
This was our 3rd cache find in a caching run of 6 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9835.)
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us past some really wonderful & scenic locations.
We had to widen our search circle to find this one. [/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 8m S from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Keyring.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

The cache description needs updating to remove the confusing & inaccurate coordinates.
Easy to find if you follow the map cache marker but if you put in updated coords then you are way off. Very confusing. TFTC
First one on the agenda for our trip to the Lake Gregory caches. There was a vehicle-less maintainance man working on the nearby monitoring station, but he didn't pay any attention to what we were doing.
Thanks Dusty Pair.
Thanks Dusty Pair.
A bit of a hunt here for a while but eventually "gallifreyen " spotted the container. TFTC
The cache is not a small poly tube. I don't know if this hindered our efforts as we were looking for just that, or that is was just well hidden, but geodad & I eventually found the camouflaged napisan container. While we were occupied geopup decided to roll in something REALLY offensive and if it wasn't for the dam nearby he would've been walking home... to Hervey Bay! Took hedgehog, left yellow alien & green monster. TFTC!
First find for the day caching with the x-trailers.
Plenty of water in the area which was great to see.
Took trackables to visit.

Well we got to the site, then looked at previous logs. Then thought we were in the wrong spot. But took a few more steps n found the cache. TFTC
Today was a rather hot September day in the Bundaberg area so we did not want to spend too much time looking for this hide. After a short search the geowife came up with the goods. TFTC Dusty Pair
It took us a short while to find this well hidden cache as we were looking for a small one but were surprised to find that it was indeed a large small one!! What a lovley Lake this is and so many birds enjoying it this afternoon when we had it all to ourselves! Everyone must have been out voting!!
TFTC Dusty Pair and bringing us to this lovely lake - it was much appreciated.

Looking, looking, looking... hollow logs, trees, fixtures and fittings... no joy! Nice location and worth the visit.
Early morning and the there were already a couple of keen fisher types out on the dam [:o]
I set off on foot to do some fishing of me own
For a cache that is
And it wasn't long before I found a sneaky little cache hide
TFTC and visit to a spot you would not normally find unless you are a local [^]

Great cache picked this one up on our way to Bundy ... Next time will have to bring some rods and have a fish
Here from Canada, doing a bit of caching as we explore Australia....
This is what I love about caching, would not have otherwise know this beautiful spot was here.
Thanks for showing us Dusty Pair!

GPS had us really close to GZ this spot looked really suspicious and bingo nhill571 soon had the cache in hand
Having not been to this dam before, I made the detour while travelling towards Bundaberg. Noting the ones on the other side that I'd not be getting today, I headed down the dirt road and almost missed the sign to turnoff down another dirt road towards GZ. Upon arrival there were inspectors there investigating reports of a fish kill, but they weren't finding anything. I read the cache description and got a bit confused. The posteds seemed to be wrong, but then right. I wasn't sure, so plugged all sets in, not knowing when the posteds were last updated. Seeing that one set was out, I started with the last set. I hunted about for quite some time and was almost about to give up when I spotted the beast. I'd suggest removing all the co-ords from the description, it really makes things confusing with extra numbers to sort through. A nice area here though and worth the visit. Next time Ill be packing the canoe. TFTC Dusty Pair.
Thank you for bringing us to this lovely dam but unfortunately we were unable to find this well hidden cache - hope to come back another day and find it. Area quiet today.
TF putting the cache where we hope to find it eventually!! Dusty Pair

Thankfuly, not a muggle was to be seen today at GZ.. leaving me to search in peace. It took a little bit of looking - but I found the well camoflagued prize safe at its home. It was a little damp inside - the log is still signable. TFTC Dusty Pair
What a busy place, people putting boats in, others just for a drive, quickly headed off without being seen. Shame about the gate going up good track for a walk. TNLN TFTC :- )
Note to self. Read the whole damn description. Updated to the first set of new coordinates and went for a very nice walk along the embankment to find that the cache has moved back to the original - published coordinates. How sucky is that[?]
We suggest that you delete the whole palava about moving the cache here and there. Mind you the walk was magic and allowed us to enjoy the view all the more.

Once we had signed the log we parked near the water to enjoy lunch. The returning fishermen were a bonus as they were only too happy to chat about their boats and competition gear.

Mr Bushies2 went down and searched a while before he found it...bigger cache than small as mentioned. Thanks Dusty Pair.
Very nice wee spot. Moneydork found the cache quickly so I grabbed my camera and tried to snap some plovers and swamp hens. Cheers Gav [8344]
Found ok Cache in good condition, WE have retrieved Rubert and Lausers Windis Geocacher-Stammtisch coins to move them on, Two TB remaining in cache
What a beautiful spot, we have driven past that road so many times not knowing such a lovely area was there. Found cache with no problem. SL Took ball and toy bug and left sml doll and pen. TFTC
Checked on cache after all the rain. Dry and in good condition. Dropped off 2 TB's and 2 geocoins.
Thanks for the cache. Easy find in a super spot. Took the opportunity to place a couple of caches. I can recommend it for a good fishing spot. Lots of quality bass.
Removed poly pipe as water getting in, replaced with slightly wider container. Also replaced log book as it was full.
913.. Did a bit of searching to locate this one, Mrs.K. did some birdwatching as there was plenty of species to view....Signed Log 11:30am

Found this one easily in the company of L&LJ and Ozibags when we came to kayak on the lake. The boys had found it before but were having trouble remembering (on purpose, I wonder?) but I found it without their help. TFTC
Really nice place, And we asked us,why we went not there one night before? This would be a great place to park the car overnight.

Fortunately we saw the spider web before we walked through it! I'm sure the spider was relieved too. Kiddies fishing at the dam were puzzled about where we'd appeared from ... TFTC Dusty Pair.
Yes it is nice. wish I'd brought my kayak. Thanks for bringing me in off the Hwy and TFTC
Took a slight detour on my north and I'm glad I did. Very pleasant spot this morning with no one around. Found at 0940hrs.

Found nice one good hidden no muggles there great.Lovely view over lake.Thank you for organising the cache and hunt.
Cache found14/6/09 on way back home to Bundaberg, got there just on dark and found cache with torches, excellent hide. Lots of goodies inside though we didn't take any as we had nothing to swap this time, just signed the logbook. Thanks for the hunt.
Found this one after second attempt. The first time we arrived just on dusk and had to give up quickly. This time we found it OK. TNLN TFTC.
Found on my third visit. On two previous occasions Sunwater surveyors had their gear set up just where I wanted to go.
Thanks for the cache

Lots of Muggles about today, but Cache is well hidden away from the all, Good hide. I think this one will last a long time. Had a huge sand goanna guarding the cache. it would have been 3 foot long. Eventually it moved off as I got closer. TFTC
What a great spot! I wasn't aware the lake was here. The cache was in good condition, unlike my heart when a couple of brown quail flew up from the grass right in front of me on the way to the cache. TFTC.
Great spot. Thanks for the time and effort put into placing and maintaining the Cache.

Found It ... 5th for day... still raining making the road a bit more muddy.. did not realise that there was a dam there .. left Chinese Coin took nothing
Found easily ... eventually. I went to GZ1 and had a look thinking I’d see if I could find it without reading about it. So, when I read about it, I changed the co-ords and headed for GZ2. Then I read about the rest of it. Kinda interesting doing a U-turn on that causeway. Finally, at GZ3 I found the illusive cache. After all that, I shall read the notes – in full – for further caches, BEFORE trying to find them. TN/LN/SL and went back to GZ1 for another look. That is a superb spot.
Great spot. Wife is a Bundy Girl and wasn't aware of this area. Obvious once you see it. No swaps made TFTC.

Need to read the info section a bit better. Started to walk off down the track, until I got to gate. A quick check of information, a slight adjustment of co-ords and bingo! Located after a short search. Cache does stand out a bit, the idea of camo paint might prevent it from being muggled again.
Thanks for bringing me out this way, would never have thought there was anything out here.
TNLN TFTC Cheers

Now that's what I call a bloody brilliant location. What a fantastic place to bring someone with a caravan on the back. If only it was a fine sunny day! The cache was in clear view so maybe a bit of camo paint might help, but the container is a real ripper. TFTC TNLN
This was our very first find, which was found with Patrol4fun, had a blast finding it. We then went off to find another while we had time. We are now hooked on Geocaching and look forward to finding alot more. Cheers from Jobsta.....
I've fished here a few times, beautiful place.I found the cache quickly, had thought of dropping off TB Joey but the quarters were just a little cramped.

This cache became a multi for us. We hadn't read the whole cache note, so went straight for the published co-ords. No cache there. Then read a little of the note, found that the cache had been moved. Went to the new co-ords. Or, rather, tried to get there. Gate blocked us, so tried to come from other side. Geomobile was not happy with prospect of crossing the creek, so we gave up. Checked cache note one more time. Found the third lot of co-ords. Went there, and located cache.
Could the owner please fix these coordinates - the co-ords posted at the top need to be the actual co-ords!!!

We checked the cache at lunch time and must have just missed Donald, Daisy & the kids. No boaties were watching us as the only boat around was on the other side of the lake. We had to wait for 3 horses and their riders to leave. We also didn't see the stainless steel magnet.
