My kinda cake mix.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to -Beaker- and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Container has gone missing yet again. The name of the cache is no longer relevant so it's time to free up the spot for someone else.
No find for us. I found a plastic penquin where it should be but no cache or log
Found easily, not much cover under this bush, obvious on approach.
Needs a new log. The single piece of paper is full and wet.
Thanks for taking us to these lovely gardens.

Found with hevwalker, TT016, CPWanderer & Scamping. A good place to park, if only the canal wasn't in the way!
Onto plan B, we had a brief visit to the Botanic park, which was looking particilarily colourful today.
Thanks for the cache.

Our first cache for the day as we enjoyed the stroll through the lovely gardens to GZ. With both of our devices heading in different directions, I came out the victor this time finding the container tucked away in its hiding spot. Thanks -Beaker- for the placement in this great spot.
We came to the gardens to collect the info for a multi and continued over to this cache. The hint mentions a hedge but it is more like a bush. The co-ords are good and the cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Out and about enjoying the delightful sights Portland has to offer, the day after the event. Muggle Hubby and I, loved the stroll through here. We would have been unaware of the pleasures these Gardens had to offer, had it not been for the cache hidden here. We were hedged by the clue, but found it anyway, and then realised why the cache was named.
Thanks for bringing us here, putting smiles on our faces, and another smiley on our map.

Found with hevwalker, TTO16, claire007 and CPWanderer. GPS took us to the wrong side of water first then when we found a park it was a lovely walk through the gardens. TFTC.
Out & about in Portland on a day trip with CPwanderer, clare007, TT016 & scramping...
Once we were on the right side of the creek (silly car GPS) we walked through the beautiful gardens to quickly locate this cache...
There is a dahlia festival here soon so they were out in full bloom today...very pretty

Approached from what seemed like a logical direction only to find a canal in our way!! Soon worked it out and made a quick find!! Thanks Beaker for the hide!!
TFTC. This was to be the last of the day as the rain started to set in. We had a quick walk into the Gardens and located the cache. The clue need to be updated but we trusted the GPS for a quick find.
Arrived at Portland for the event and collected a couple of caches before
the overnight camp. Thanks beaker FTC.
the overnight camp. Thanks beaker FTC.
We're on our way to the Mega at Alice Springs and traveling all the back roads finding some great camps along the way.
Have to trust the Coords. Nice hide.

In Portland for family Christmas. TFTC took nothing left dolly and fairydust. SL.
Went for a walk with my niece, nephew, and my mum. Was a little more difficult that I thought it would be. Great Cache!!
We actually searched for quite some time. The GPS devices were a little inconsistent and some of the logs were not very useful. In the end found the cache not too far from the front of the garden. SL and replaced. TFTC

On an incredibly windy afternoon, I took a quick and brief stroll around the gardens before grabbing this cache. The log was out of the bag and a little damp. TFTC
Very exciting - our very first geocache! Unfortunately an inappropriate item had been placed in there. Same destroyed and replaced
After a while walking in circles finally found it. There was no log and I had no paper on me so I signed the inside of the lid. Tftc
The log book was renewed with a new plastic bag also. The cache container is leaking water into the container.

My husband actually found it by accident after he jumped in the bushes so he could scare the kids Lol
Beautiful gardens in a lovely town. Enjoying a break with the family, or should I say from the family! They fish, I cache! Thank you for bringing me here! TFTC
We enjoyed this one. We walked up the canal and along the way came face to face with a young koala. It really wanted to cross to the other side of the canal where there were some juicy gum leaves. At one stage we thought he was going to swim across. He got his paw in the water and then changed his mind. We eventually left him and hope he got safely to his destination. So thanks Beaker. Oh and the gardens are lovely too!
Nice find, although we did have to search under foliage. Everything in the container was sopping wet though.
Found pretty easily, but unfortunately no trackable there and log very damp. Lovely gardens.
Found but log too wet to sign, i would class cache as regular size, not small. TFTC
Another find for the day, with hubby, son & dog. Bit tricky to find. Paper log to wet to sign. Took bear & giraffe earaser. Left penguin & mouse.
On a two week road trip through Victoria and along the Great Ocean Road, this was one of the many caches was discovered along the way.
Started off on the wrong side of the creek but then discovered the wonderful Botanic Gardens and soon had cache in hand.

Missed logging this one(it is now Sept 2017). Daughter and Son-in Law had just moved to Portland. We may have dragged them to do some geocaching in the new area. This one has sadly been archived. TFTC
