We are two Australian teams (Liz and Bruce and The Drovers) who are on a mega road trip of some of the great States of the USA. Our travels over the next couple of days are taking us through South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska and Colorado. Nice work. Thanks to 2pats for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
USA road trip 2015, traveling with Liz and Bruce. Week 6, day 7.
Drove from Grand Island to Colorado Springs, stopping along the way to pick up a few caches.
Most caches were found after a short search, some were a little tricky.
Many thanks for placing this cache, 2pats, for us and others to find.

Visiting from Denver. The weather today was rainy, windy, and cold, but we made the best of it. We enjoyed our day and all of the placements.
We found it today at 7:57 am. Quick stop here. SL. TFTC.

Day One of our Five Day/Five States Geocaching Adventure.
The main objective of this geo-adventure was to find Mingo, the oldest cache in Kansas. We were still half asleep when we arrived at the Spokane airport for our 6 a.m. flight to Denver - but our early start meant that we were in Denver by 9 a.m. local time. After picking up the rental car and a quick stop at WalMart we headed for Kansas. Once on the I-70 we managed to drive for about half an hour before Mrs. Pirate started getting that traumatized look that happens when she has to pass by perfectly good caches so we agreed to take a quick detour to find one quick run of caches, and then it was back on track. We arrived in Colby earlier than we had expected which meant we had plenty of time to visit "Mingo" and then return to Colby and enjoy a quick geo-tour of the town.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this while on an eight day, six state geocaching trip from Erie, PA with the EriesQUADron (Facedances, JoelMart, Tprints, and me). Thanks.
Second find of the day, but the first find after waking up. I wanted to get 15 caches while I was in Kansas, so I decided to try and find all the caches in Colby before heading back toward Denver. This was a quick find. Thanks for the cache! (6479)
Made a quick find, and then had a very nice conversation with the man inside the building. We recommend a little stop there, lots of good information available. On a road trip with my sister-in-law, bmrbabe. TFTC!
After reading the hint, I groaned, and if you read my post on "Walton's Empire" you will understand why. But much to my delight, this one was a baby and had not yet grown into a rebellious adolescent or crotchety (pun intended) adult. This was an easy find, and much appreciated after our previous DNF. EstesLynne and I had a lovely conversation with the gentleman on duty, and then we were on our way. TFTC!
#15766 Found while passing through the area on my way towards Colorado. Parked a short distance away and walked over to the cache. Found it easily, signed in, and headed off down the road. TFTC
US12. A very nice looking visitors center. I did not go in, just snuck around the back to grab this one. Thanks
