Jeff, we’re gonna give this one a favourite absolute beautiful spot walked down to the bottom of the waterfalls absolutely magnificent

Taking some back roads to get to Mt Seldon Seen (everything around here is a back road right?) I spotted some unloved that was too good to just drive past. I checked out the upstream a little before making my way down the fire trail to the falls. The creek was in full flow, so I checked out the multiple drops of this underated spot. Heading down the rocks, the falls get better and better with multiple drops and pools, certainly didn't expect that. Got wet and crossed over, making my way up to GZ. The coordinates and clue were very accurate, and the slightly distorted container was found quickly with a dry log. TFTC!!!

Finally, this poor cache has had a visitor! Looking a little tired but still keeping the contents dry, full log to come when I get home in a couple of weeks

Did a bit of rock hopping had no luck great spot

In the area hunting unloved caches and this one was next. Drove here down an ok road, if a bit rough in places with some ruts forming. I then saw a rough track heading off so followed it to within 40m of GZ. Parked and then spent time just admiring the waterfall, really nice. Did the rock scramble to get to GZ and had the cache in hand quickly, still in perfect condition! Thanks to NELLYJR for bringing me here.

WHAT A VIEW. Definitely well worth the drive. Think this once a year cache has turned into once every 2 years , such a shame with beauty like this. A quick find with a couple of photos taken. Took the lure hubby keen on catching some trout hasnt has much luck yet this might be the turn pointing TFTC well worth the drive to find this hidden beauty

It looks like this out of the way cache only gets one visitor per year and today was that occasion. We parked near GZ and got to within 16m of the cache, where an obstacle barred our way. It's been very wet down these parts and the river is perhaps deeper than usual. Just as we pondered how to get my 70 year old legs to make the final leap, a couple of young muggles appeared, they wondered what we were doing. We explained what geocaching was all about, they seemed interested so we asked them to try their first cache. They made the leap easily and soon had the cache in hand for us to sign. OK we cheated just a little bit, but after coming all this way, we didn't intend to leave without signing the log.

Many thanks for the cache NELLYJR Took nothing left nothing SL

#247 Found at 10.20am. A beautiful location marred by the previous nights campers who left rubbish everywhere and seemed to take delight in shooting beer bottles [:(!] We cleared up as much as we could and thankfully another muggle coming in after us was able to deal with the rest (we caught up with them at Buchan). Falls were flowing well today and GeoPrincess would only go so far so it was up to Dad and the Queen to seek the cache. Dad soon came up with the goods and we logged our find whilst taking in the views. Cache was very well hidden and is still in great condition.

Took: Blue Light Keyring

TFTC - a gorgeous place when looked after Smile

Found at 1.45pm
We were on our way to Swifts Creek via the forestry roads and had camped nearby on the Buchan river - lovely spot
We wandered around the area driving up Mt Stewart, driving into the Green Hills Conservation area (very pretty).

This cache was set in another delightful spot,
Cache found easily

Nice one, there are few signs in this area to the natural features, luckily our Rooftop maps showed us the way.

Another beautiful location brought to our attention on our trip through the bush. I was a bit worried by the terrain rating here but my fears were allayed when we were able to park withing 35m of the cache. It was a bit of fun to rock-hop across the water and scramble up to the cache. The water looked inviting but had to wait as we were due in Lakes Entrance by dark and had a lot of travelling ahead of us.

Thanks again,

Found 15/11/08 16:40 Smile. Find #7 of 31 on my Over the Hills - an Earthcache Adventure trip with Team Rubik Cool

No falling was experienced for this one though if it had been a hot day I might have been tempted to fall into the rather inviting swimming hole above the falls Wink
