With construction on the Airport Link tunnel well underway I rescued on Christmas morning before the dozers take out the area.

Looking at the current work it is possible GZ may survive in the long term - but only time will tell.

The way to GZ is currently blocked by giant orange fence. 18m was as close as I could get. Damn the fence.
Found at 2:50pm just before a storm passed through the area. Saw an eel in the creek under the bridge near GZ which would have been at least 5 - 6 foot long. Also saw many frilled necked lizards in the park. Left Squashed Bug TB and took GeoCoin and Turtle TB. SL. TFTC ruzzelz.
Just stopped in to drop off a Geocoin and a Sea Turtle TB that seemed eager to go for a swim up the creek.
With cachers who have already found this trying to send me off the mark, I eventually trusted my GPS and found it!! TFTC
We went to the near by shopping center to get what we need for our camping trip through Queensland, when I noticed this cache nearby. As many others have written before: it is on the other side!

Accompanied with Sevabo. Lovely park. We enjoyed walk along to the cache. No swap. SL. Thanks Ruzzelz for organising the cache and hunt.
What's that old caching saying? - If there's a creek involved, then the cache will always be on the other side. TFTC
Going back into caches I have found in the past and "visiting" a personal TB to give a total km travelled in our time caching.
Found it today with Dr Pam.
GPSr went haywire here so I left a compass and a soldier.

With the creek/barrier law of "it is always on the other side" a previous attempt at this one was thwarted by a well-meaning passer-by who wanted to talk bikes!

Dropping off Barney Bulldog long-distance-stylie on behalf of the Wright Family... long story.
I often ride past here and decided it was about time to take a look for this cache...
Got it without the GPS!
Left Barney Bulldog TB (LOST BUT NOW FOUND AGAIN!)
Please help him do a lot of travel to make up for lost time

Tunnel I'll believe it when it starts.
This project is just another Redcliffe Railway line.

Not quite sure when construction of the Airport Link Tunnel is going to start here. But it could 'interfere' with this cache. http://www.citynorthinfrastructure.com.au/pdfs/maps/flash/Section7.pdf
Nice walk over the bridge, jumped the stream and the prize was ours, thanks for the fun.

A quick look with limited time did not reveal this cache. Maybe if I have some more time to kill waiting for a flight another time I'll try again. Certainly a somewhat confusing area.
This was the last find after a 27Km bike ride on Kedron Brook bike path. It was a Beautiful sunny winters day that Brisbane does so well. Did not open container it was yukkie after the rain but there was no sign that water had got in.
Water has been quite high down the brook recently. It was a quiet pocket today though, apart from the nearby road traffic that is and some muggle stragglers. A good search revealed the cache in good condition. SL. No swaps. Thanks ruzzelz.
Twenty-second for the day and cache ninety-five on day four of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1500 in the company of chewinprickles and robmc. This was an effort all round, parking was miles away walking in the poring rain was just great and then The cache had be thrown so far in it was out of arms reach, luckily we had the umbrella and were able to retrieve it with that, we put it back in a more finder friendly manner. We wondered if the water would soon be covering this spot the way the creek was rising. Thanks ruzzelz for the cache.
This one took a while longer than it should have. First finding a way in then digging out the cache.
Thanks indeed
Thanks indeed
The rain was still keeping the muggles at bay, so we had no trouble here. We did take a while to get to the right side of the river though
The cache was in the first place we looked, unfortunately we didn't look hard enough. We eventually re-looked as it was the obvious place, and there is was. Took a while to extract.
The hide was a bit easier to reach when we rehid it.
Thanks, Robmc.

I have no idea! Looked everywhere but will obviously need to go back. New to the hunt but completely addicted. We looked both sides of the brook but will need sharper eyes. Hmmm ...
#30 for the day after a late start for caching, but then again, cacher is a cacher any time of day . It was a mission to retrieve the cache from its hiding place [B)]

As always my bad habit of cache hunting in the late hours with no torch led me into some grief (wrong side of the creek I had a fight with some thorns - ouch). The eventual discovery more than made up for it. TFTC.

We approached initially from the wrong side of the brook.
Maybe a possum shares the hidey hole with this cache? We saw something disappear as we approached but didn't see what it was. Soon the cache was in hand. TNLN TFTC

Thanks Ruzzelz for this fun cache.
We approached from one side. We crossed the bridge and approached from the other side. We came from a third direction and were rewarded with a stroll on a lovely "island". Nice location - cool organic cache container with a big real water dragon lizard for a guardian

Approached from the shopping centre car park and found without difficulty. T: ball puzzle, L: yellow wrist band. Thanks ruzzelz.
Found an approach in from the bridge and tracked the cache down. There was a nice size lizard guarding the GZ area but he moved on as I approached. Signed the log and left his home in peace.

Looked at GZ from the bridge on Sandgate Road and thought, "I think I've made the wrong approach". Eventually discovered an easier way out, but getting there was a bit of fun. Took a bouncy ball and left a happy seal after signing the log.
Forraged around on the wrong side of the creek for a while. I even found a hidden power drill some thief had hidden.
Once in the right spot it was a quick find.
Took the TBs and placed another. Thanks ruzzelz for the cache.

First cache on Queensland soil. Had the opportunity to travel to Queensland for some training. Between plenary sessions and workshops I thought "what else to do", Go Caching . Found some great little hides and scenery. Only just scratched the surface. Brought a few travel bugs across from the west. Left TB Gone 2
I walked over to do this one while I was in the area for Brisbane's only. This cache has been tempting me every time I drove past, but now it is done! TFTC. *Overall Experience: 3*

A lovely stroll right on sunset. Found the cache well covered after scratching about for a bit. TFTC
Why can't my GPSr show me all the watercourses? Once we'd figured out how to get to it, we searched and searched the last finder was a fabulous hider! Finally revealed in torchlight, hurrah! Dropped Nate's Nameless TB. TFTC. ='.'=
We also got on the wrong side, but found it quickly once we got over the brook.

Only managed two caches on a quick trip to Qld but this was a nice spot for a cache. Stopped to watch the remote control race cars nearby. Amazing how fast they make them go, and noisy! TFTC TNLN.
Helps if you look on the right side of the brook! A quick lesson for the geokids in sharing a path with cyclists and the cache was ours. Took TB to continue its journey. Left a smile.

Hmmm. Where to park? How to approach?
We parked legally and took a stroll across the bridge then acted like trolls to get to the right area. Concentrating on the wrong location L of The Mini Mob took the correct location and after being scared by a water dragon had the cache in hand.
Took nothing, left ball and frog.
Thanks ruzzelz. A nice location with the added attraction of water dragon.

Sent Geowife in for a quick find while I stayed with the car slightly illegally parked on the footpath on Sandgate Rd about 1/2 an hour later she eventually returns after spining someone a yarn that she was trying to find something else and that person insisting that they help her. Eventually he gave up then she went and got the cache, that's what happens when you tell little white lies and they backfire!

WOW, how many parks are in this city?? Our 6th for the day
This was a nice stroll, saw five or six frilled neck lizards. Almost walked over the bridge but luckily for us the gps knew where to go, so back we went and found the cache without much trouble once we got there. Well hidden though even in a somewhat open area.
There is no pen or pencil so could the next person to visit please take a spare as we only had the one we were using so couldn't leave it behind.

Did this with Dosphoenix and getting used to my own GPS while Mr Nosugrefs is in Sydney. Another pretty area not far from a really busy corner. Great little spot. TNLN and thanks.
Oh Okay, so it really is there! Great geocaching spot. Found with Mrs Nosugref today. Thanks ruzzelz! (see we do venture over the river occasionally!). TNLN.
Found today on a trip to the airport in the beautiful rain. Cache was found nice and dry. TNLNSL Ta Ruzzelz
We visited this cache early in the morning and found an abundance of magnificant bearded dragons in the vicinity. At least 3 of the biggest lizards we have seen for a long time were guarding the cache. TFTH ruzzelz - took TB and left some hairbands.
I can tell you the local fauna is still in great evidence. Especially the lovely big lizard standing guard over the cache. As he/she blended so nicely with the hiding spot did not notice it until I was reaching past it. I am not too proud to admit I emitted quite a yelp and back pedalled quite quickly for a couple of seconds. Lizard turned tail and disappeared; my heart rate settled; and Mrs Nanks and I found the cache. Quite an experience. SL TFTC including the lizard
Talk about laugh! Psycho Sue from the MadMyers was my partner for this cache hunt and boy oh boy she is one funny lady! You've never heard a weirder noise than the one she made while bravely disturbing a bearded dragon.
It sounded like a strangled duck!
But I guess that's beside the point. We found the cache and had a bit of a giggle on the way back to the car. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Just kept on walking with THW's and was happy to find this one also! Took pewter photo frame left magic towel. Thanks ruzzelz.
We stopped off to grab this one on our way past. GZ was very pleasant and surprisingly muggle free today. Left a dolphin keyring and took a container of purple glitter. Dropped off Princess TB. Thanks for the cache, Ruzzelz
Third of twenty finds in company with The Garner Family and HawMorFords. Found at 1900. We drove to the closest point and hoofed it in. I had left my Magellan in the car, but HMF allowed me to borrow his Garmin. I could see the probable hiding place from afar, so it was an easy find in a traditional place. I made no exchange. Thanks to ruzzelz for the cache.
On the wrong side of the creek initially - very busy in the nearby shopping area. Thanks ruzzelz
As usual I was on the wrong side of the creek. Crossed over then found there was still water between me and the cache. Took the long (dry) way to the location and then scared away the cache guardian lizard before I could get the cache.
