Found the GC with granville86a but unable to sign the log, whole container is water logged was a lovely day for a walk with the sun shining through the trees
Very water logged cache, will need a bit of maintenance (new log book etc)
Found with Chosen1978 on trip round Wakatipu Basin. Great walk to GZ. Logbook totally saturated so unable to sign.
Found it second time round... SOAKING WET unfortunately, will need a new pad etc
No matter how much we tried... couldn't find it. GPS was having a hissy fit and loads of muggles around.... Will try again another day..
Took a while, GPS was tripping out. Cache is waterlogged unable to write on pad. Nice haunted walk through the wilderness.
Full of water. Emptied it out but couldn't dry it or complete log as soaking wet.
Out with the mut on a warm Autumn day. Almost a DNF as GPS was acting up and lots of muggles out enjoying the day. Left a geocoin, took nothing. TFTC
We were up here earlier in the day (although at a much faster pace) making the most of the last few hours before flying back home, at the time I didn't think to ask the Jet Boat Driver to let me out to collect caches, That must make me a poor cacher

Pleasant 700m walk from the previous cache. Took us a while to find this one. The coordinates seemed to have us closer to another tree initially. Got there eventually. Only one man went by walking his dog. We were still there (acting suspiciously?) on his return leg.

Took me a wee while to find this one in the dark. My super torch helped me a lot!

Lovely walk and after a bit of a hunt around we finally found it. A jetboat hooned past just as we were signing the log. TFTC
Whilst searching for the Shotover cache, the description directed us to this cache as well. A small 15 minute walk on the banks over the river lead us past some beautiful willows and other trees that were already changing into autumn colors.
People walking their dogs, a peaceful area!
Thanks for bringing us here

Forgot to download this one to my GPS. So I searched for it with my iPhone. Was about to give up when I spotted the watchdog. Awesome discovery! TFTC
Great wee walk ! My poor dog is getting senile, and I had to put her on a lead on the way home, as she kept getting herself lost!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are currently on holiday down in Queenstown, visiting from Auckland. This morning we had a couple of hours to spare, so headed out to the Crown Ranges, then on to the AJ Hackett bungy bridge. Stopped at this spot along the way and made a quick find of the cache. Interesting camo hiding this one, thanks for the cache!

Nice find after we could not find GC22314 as i could not think like a Troll.
Second of two finds for a couple of Oregonians exploring New Zealand. Had a fun walk from the nearby cache, and found this one easily. TN, left a "kiwimonster was here" pen. Thanks for the cache!
Day 13 of our NZ tour for the MEGA, we are visiting from Perth, Western Australia still driving around with our MEGA and Aussie flags on the Geo Hire Car.
Alass we didn't approach from the Bridge and so Mr Felix had to make the slower and more steep descent towards GZ from nearby.
On arrival he located some workers very intently moving and lopping fallen trees/timber from the storm a few days ago.
He tried to go about his business hopefully unnoticed however when they hitched up the next fallen tree to their 4x4 it made a crashing noise and startled the ...... out of him. he took more care and found the cache, signed the log and beat a hasty retreat.
TFTC Slider4 & Hawkeye. May need a check up in the coming weeks due to local muggle activity.

Caching back along out jet boat trail.
We went for a jet boat ride in the morning then shadowed our track finding the cached along the bank.
I tried to get a pi of the jet boat going by but it was too quick.
How about us instead.
Travelling with Mr_Roo and discovering Tealby during the NZ Mega.

Found with Sam walker's while visiting for the NZ Mega. This one was a beauty! Found also with Tealby a lovely walk on a very easy track along the river TFTC
For me, this is what caching is all about... an enjoyable stroll in a picturesque area, so thank you so much for the experience. Found in the company of some other ACT cachers visiting from Australia for the mega. TFTC - and the interesting cache guardian!
We enjoyed the walk to this one, although we got a little wet as the weather had turned. Thanks for the cache.
Needing one for the day we headed off for a little walk. Nice to see the bridage restored. We got an early start and made our way across the bridge interesting history in this being the second bridge plus the dodgy construction of if with the builder trying to claim Council held him up while he did a crook job on the footings which caused a collapse. We made our way up the track and then heard a loud noise only to then see the yellow flash of a jet boat whiz past. Soon after we arrived and GZ and made a quick find behind the camo. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TN LN TFTC
Nice walk on a beautiful qtwn day and some stunning views up the shotover river. Thanks for taking me to this location and is a good hide. TFTC
We did this right after Below the Shotover and it was a gorgeous easy walk surrounded by the autumn colours. Brilliant.
Found while out section-walking Te Araroa.
I had just done a return hike to Frankton and decided to nip along here before the approaching rain beat me to it. Made it OK, then pushed my luck too far and continued for a short hike towards Arrowtown. Got to the tar seal, just as the rain started to come down, so lost the plot and decided to return via the road. Wrong move - not a short cut at all - did my impression of a drowned rat, sigh! Thanks Slider4 and Hawkeye - a neat cache spot.

Quite a popular track this but we managed to find a gap and grab the cache. A very pleasant walk indeed. Left a TB. TFTC

What a day. Lets go back to geocaching. Thats a lot safer. Nothing special here but a nice walk to a nice hide between the trees. Thanks.
#1068 No one around so could easily search in peace. Visiting from Melbourne, Australia. My tired legs found the slope a bit hard in the end! Great place for a cache, thanks Slider4 & Hawkeye.
Nice walk along the Lower Shotover. Water was low so we made it out to the rock in the middle. TFTC.
Enjoyed the walk. Another place we wouldn't have found if not for geocaching. Thanks
After some shopping i did this short walk. Trees look like right out of Lord of the rings. In Tb. Tftc.
Great little spot, great track. Went somewhere we've never been before and would have explored further except the little people were getting hungry! Thanks!
Lovely area. There is no gate though - in fact if you go threw the gate you will go on a wild goose catch like we did to start with.
Got a bit confused by the clue, but luckily no muggles passed by as we clambered around the area. The heat was incredible, and after completing ben lomond the previous day, we weren't in a mood for much more walking. So we rewarded ourselves with a glorious swim in Lake Hayes. TFTC.
Pleasant walk and a little bit of digging around at GZ, but success in the end. A closer carpark might be the one at the end of Spence Rd, on the east bank of the Shotover by the historic bridge - incidentally, very close to another cache. So a good place to kill two birds with one stone. First find of the year! Rewarded ourselves afterwards with a swim in Lake Hayes. TFTC =)
I could do this nice little trail as I had a few hours off.
Thanks for showing & danke. MacPivi

Found on a nice walk with pink toe! 2nd of the day! Tftc! Took a coin! Beautiful sunny day!!
We live local so a nice afternoon walk. Couldn't find it in 1st location but then saw potential; 2nd location and bingo the kids found it. nice hide
I was a bit uncoordinated yesterday and didn't get this as the same time as the other nearby. So today TaurusSix and I came back for this one. The walk was nice and we would have kept walking through the willows had we not had an appointment in Queenstown.
Took new mexico proxy discvd another proxy and left pathtag. A very nice walk along the river. Didn't see jet boats but a couple mountain bikes and a fully loaded touring cyclist. Not as many birds as hoped. Found after middling search. Hint didn't narrow scope by much. PIGO TFTC
only cache had time to find while in queenstown on the way to the airport. quick find. tftc!
Spent a lovely sunny afternoon picking up some caches in the area after a drive up to macetown.
The willow trees in this area were amazing making a lovely arch way to walk through.

We went for a lovely walk through the grove of trees that form a lovely archway over the walking track. We encountered several people walking their dogs and a lovely lady who runs the B and B who helped us indentify some of the flora.

Our first cache find of the day on Christmas Eve. Loved the location and walk to this cache. It was very scenic especially under the shade of the trees and the water reflection on the ground! Swapped 2 geocoins to admire the views. Thanks Slider4 & Hawkeye for the cache.
We had a great time caching today here in New Zealand! We have travelled all the way from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Left our signature card. Dropped off some trackables that we brought from the States too! Thanks for bringing us here, although we did get a little sweaty searching around! TFTC.
Loved the walk down to this one, but didn't look forward to the return.
Great spot for a cache and the shade along the path was well and truly welcome.
My thanks to Slider4 & Hawkeye for placing this one. TNLNSL
