Unfortuately visited without reading the log to say it was disabled. Clearly a lot of water has been through here. Next time ....
The water level was at least 2metres above the cache site. You might find it somewhere between here and Echuca, but I can't give exact co-ords
Disables until I get another setup (or if someone else wants to place one here let me know) It's too nice a spot to not have cache.

I'll be checking on this (and a few others) tomorrow with a couple of nieces. [^]
Lovely place but I can't see how this one could have survived what the evidence says was a LOT of water that has rushed through the cache sight.
Looked for quite a while without finding. My second DNF in a row , not looking good for the day. Maybe it has gone missing in the recent rains? Or I am just having a bad day. TFTC
Had a look today, but hadn't printed off any info, so were completely in the dark. Area had been well flooded. Cache may or may not be present.
What a lovely spot, love this geoaching - get to see places we would normally drive past.

We found this today - full of water, but we had a bit of time so we cranked up the heater in the car and dried out the log sheets, unfortunately the log book is saturated.
The dried out log sheets are in the film container inside a bag, inside the sistema container. The log book couldnt be dried out, so it is sealed in a zip lock bag by itself. Wiped out the container and replaced it as well as we could. This may need to be checked on again soon do to the amount of rain we are received.
This is a great spot and looks like a good fish/camp/swim spot in summer.
Cheers.

Found @ 10:39 Interesting place with all rocks and a little water. A couple of camper in the area but no were near the cache. Couldnt sign log as was full of water and every thing was wet.

Full of water and looks like the second time it has been like it. Its is a good spot but needs a better container type as it would be a shame to drive here and not to be able to sign log like us.
Found this one after quite a bit of looking. Unfortunately the cache needs some TLC. When we located the cache it was half filled with water and everything was wet through, so were unable to record the visit in the log.
Found this one on our way to Echuca took few wrong turns to get to it.
Nice spot to cool off very hot day .
Thanks for the drive in.

great spot for a cache i was there bout a month ago and i didnt even no there was there that was the last one found for the day out with crazy creelz
Been wanting to do this one for ages. This was "our" spot when we were younger. We love it here. So I brought my kids and toyahmary along for the search. More overgrown than I remember it but I still love the peaceful sound of the running water.. Can't wait to come back again although you used to be able to drive right up to the end where there's now the gate to walk through. A great trip back in time for me and a good find for CCno.3. We SL. Went after this one cos we'd met SmileyPJ yesterday. He wasn't lurking here though there were a group of kids. No where near the cache though. A great one, thanks SmileyPJ.
Slowpids working fine... Lovely place.

A nice spot to stretch the legs and have a walk around. The river is a long way from these rapids today - it's hard to image what it must look like with a full river.

Found with Karen 2nd find for the day. This has been on my list for such a long time in fact since I started caching I was glad to have this one logged and what a nice location for a cache hide
My mum and daughter were with me on this one. Now mum knows what we are talking about. This was her first find with us and enjoyed it. Great little spot. Didn't know it was there. Driven passed it many a time.
Easy little find despite all the rain on the weekend. I'll put this spot on the backlogs for a little fishing at some time. Thanks FTC. TNLNSL
Found by PR&F on 23/11/08 @ 1.50pm on our way to Echuca.
Showed my friends what caching was all about and what a cache to choose! We all enjoyed crossing the Campaspe and then the search began. Was looking for a micro in all sorts of places. Then I started to think like I cacher. I finally found GZ and decided cache was small rather than a micro

After doing Rebecca's Bridge, this was the only one around left to do so we took a Tom Tom's tour around the area before we found the way in. Upon arrival we noticed some kids swimming down stream, but they did not worry us so we walked in and found your cache. Thanks for the spot-on coords because I would have not had a hope of finding anything if we did not have that. TN LN (obviously), thanks smileypj for the cache.

easy to find this time dad (80 yrs young)took control of the gps he was off running
We went out for a swim on a very hot day and thought wow someone has given the place a real clean up. Closer inspection showed that it was mother nature. We couldn't find the cache spot and didn't have the GPSr so we couldn't check it but the water has rushed through fairly high up and I suspect it would have reached where the cache is.
A fairly quick find on a warm morning. You have to feel sorry for the Campaspe River Irrigators, going from the most reliable water allocations in the state to having zero in a very short period of time.. Such is the nature of a changing catchment and the current weather patterns I guess. Thanks.

Found after a second look. The river was actually running but we think any danger of flooding is very slim. TFTH.

4Stubbies and King Pin enjoyed this lovely site. Would be really great with a bit more water. Quick find and off again.
King Pin - First time back in many years with out the kids. Bought back many memories.
We made a quick decision to have a Friday the 13th Geocaching day.
First stop was this cache in a quiet, out of the way spot. GPS had us on the wrong side of the water first up, but a short detour and we were wandering around gz avoiding the smoke from an abandoned camp fire.
A quick find and a look at the slowpids, then off the Bendigo to continue the day.

Such a beautiful hidden spot
So hidden it took a long drive to find the track in. Plenty of water flowing over the slow-pids today
TFTC and detour.

Found 200704061105 . Malby the GeoHound and I enjoyed the walk along the watercourse, and I made an easy find at GZ. I was however, disappointed by the use of a micro in a location that deserves something better and larger

[53] 3.40pm - Found on our quick trip to Bendigo to check out the "Central Victorian Get Together" place as to camping and such facilities - Well! it certainly was so! nice to actually hear some water running! We searched and searched and were about to give up but a final try by Mon from the team had the cache in hand - phew! - Gra from the team thinks Mon is "THE BEST!" at micros - we walked away smiling instead of cussing you - no one around pre-Easter - TNLNSL - TYFTC smileypj
13th find of the day at 2:50pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on our labour day holiday.
I was wondering what the cache name meant but upon arrival of GZ it all became clear. TNLN, Signed Log. Thanx Smileypj....

Veered off to check this one out on the way to Bendigo. What a great little spot. Found the cache easy enough after checking if a few spots we thought might be 'obvious'. Signed log. Looks like a popular spot as there were people camping further up the river and some muggles were coming for a swim as we were leaving. TFTC smileypj.
Found on my second attempt, but I forgot the bathers! The new GPSr is starting to pay for itself!
Thanks,

We always promised ourselves a return trip to here on a hot night so we packed the picninc bag and came out for a swim. Had noted the DNF but cache is where it always was(albiet a bit deeper) and coords are good.
Searched high and low but had no luck in finding it. My first DNF (I ended up having two DNF's today - doesn't rain, it pours!).
Thanks anyway. Nice spot.

What a nice place, have been driving past here on a regular basis for about 4 years and never knew it existed. Great spot for a couple of days camping. Found the cache quickly but delayed starting to look as a couple of young muggles with muggle dog returning to camping area were passing by.
Checked this tonight, thought the slowpids may have become stoppids as the water level has dropped significantly downstream. But the cache is well and the water is still travelling slowly. Cache in good nick; no fear of it getting wet yet. Also took a couple of photos while I was there.
My GPS was miles out today, I gave this 20 minutes and had to give it away, there are just too many places to search!
Perhaps next time, I plan to return for a swim.
Thanks,
R - B

Found by Mary & David at 1230. Delighted to hear the water as we approached. There wasn't a lot, but at least the 'pids were active. A pretty place. Our thanks to smileypj yet again.
I managed to convince the family that yes they were micros but they are likely to be in great spots. Packed reluctant geogirl and excited geohound and off we went for the afternoon. What a fabulous spot - was unable to drag them all back into the car. Should have kept this one for last. Will pack the bathers and picnic next hot day.

I'm not used to looking for micros in a bush setting but I think there will be few of these today. FOund quite quickly as there were lots of potential spots I was lucky, thanks Smileypj

Found by Roma and Max.
We shuddered and our blood turned to ice when we read “a micro hidden in rocksâ€!
We just hate it when containers are secreted within rocks, in particular when they are in a foreign country!
However our concern was to no avail, as this particular micro, although well hidden was relatively easy to find.
TNLNSL.
Thanks smileypj.
