We don't know if this cache is there or not but with so many DNF's it seems unlikely.
However the track is definitely signed as no entry now unsafe, so we did not approach. See pic attached.
Cache needs moving or replacing.

I too found a stump with a golf ball but no cache. Given this area is blocked due to safety reasons it might be time to check and move.

didnt find cache but Geo points took me to a tree that contained a golf ball
I dont know if it was part of the cache or an animal brought it in.
I dont know if it was part of the cache or an animal brought it in.
Can you please make sure the cache is still there? I've tried for a while couldn't find it.
Sorry could not find, but did find a beautiful echidna hiding in a log at the location - did not want to disturb him! So although not geocache winners, we were nature winners!!
There was many stumps some looked more Likley then others we searched high and low with no luck
My GPS took me to,a place that matched the hint but no joy today even though I widened my search. Perhaps cache blind? Lovely area away from the muggles
Plenty of water flowing along the creek. Pretty views and scenic walk to GZ. TNLN TFTC flattreker.
Find # 1639 @ 1740 H
Mr Tyred n Cranky had football duties today down this way, so I decided to load up my push bike to hit the Domino trail and a few others around the area.
First on the hit list was to head south and to attempt to climb the mountain and boy what a mountain. I ended up walking some of the way to the top and in the end it was all worth it.
Both the view and the sight of the tower were well worth the effort.
The Football was over so it was time to load up my bike and jump in the Geo Van of team Tyred n Cranky's
The last 3 caches of the day were in this area and with the darkness creeping up we had to make them quick. with a couple of cars in the carpark we had to keep and eye over out backs when attempting this cache, as we would have been able to hear them due to the sound of the waterfall just a stones throw away. The cache grab was a quick due to the co ords being spot on.

Find No. 681. Found with FUF009 at 5.40pm
Footy in Trentham for the day and while Mr Tyred n Cranky was at the footy, after lunch Mrs Tyred n Cranky caught up with FUF009 and spent the afternoon caching.
First up The Domino Trail - FUF009 had his pushbike but I was walking it. If only I had put my bike in we would have been a lot quicker but we had all afternoon to do this.
The Domino Trail is now finished but wait there is another hide just up a bit which we just had to do.
The Football is over and before heading home we decided to find a few caches with Mr Tyred n Cranky.
Only three left to do and they were all in the same area, and what a lovely area it is. We had to be quick with these ones as it was now getting dark very quickly.
Luckily this was a nice quick find with spot on co-ords
Took Yowie - Left clip on koala. TFTC

Found 13.45, log book was full &wet, signed sheet of paper and placed in new ziploc bag. TNLN, Sl. TFTC.
We had to decide whether to do this one before or after the multi in town but as it turned out, doing this one first was the correct decision. It was a nice quick find at 14:45 before we mosied further on down the track to admire the falls themselves.
TNLNSL. Thanks flattreker.
PS: The cache is very wet inside and could do with some TLC.

Made decision over lunch at the Red Beard Bakery to do this one first, then head out the other side of Trentham to complete a multi and do a few other caches in that direction. Cache was found easily enough at 2:50pm, then we headed down a bit further along the track to check out the falls - and the idiots clambering over rocks at the top of the falls. I presume they made it back without falling in!

I know the area for some years, walked pretty much from the car directly into the cache, nice find , great hiding spot and wonderful area. Cache was very wet
LouiseAnn had found this one before, but it became my third cache find for the day.
The GPS took me a bit all over the place but in the end I located the most likely spot and with the help of a natural tool the cache was quickly located. The log is wet but I got it signed.
We were out this way as LouiseAnn came up with a list of old caches to fill a few gaps in her "Finds by hidden month" stats and several more in the equal stats of mine. We had a long but great day in Central Victoria locating almost all the caches we set out to look for, and we ended the day at LouiseAnn's parents place with a nice dinner.
Thanks for the cache flattreker!

Reluctant to do this as the signs ask that people don't proceed as unstable cliffs are in area. We thought this would be the placed for the GZ and we would need to observe these instructions, especially as there where heaps of muggles on this warm day. If you could confirm that we are in the right area, as sometimes we can be a bit off line and may have come in from the wrong direction. Did enjoy falls. Thanks flattreker.
Took my friend here for his first time today. Lovely location! Even though my friend was freaking out at the potential for snakes TFTC
Yay I finally found this one. I have visited this area a lot but somehow missed finding this cache when here previously. Glad to add this smiley to the list. thanks
We were on our way to Upper Loddon and saw the sign to the falls, looked at each other and thought lets check it out. After checking out the view I thought to myself "this is a perfect place for a cache"...... What do ya know! Beautiful spot. Thanks for the cache.
After a delicious breakfast in Trentham, we ventured out to these beautiful falls. Thank you for bringing us here. There were some great swaps in the cache but nothing in, nothing out for us. Caching with Tomstache today.
Found a path tag. Loved the falls. This was unfortunately the last of the day as Alpha female to tired to go on. However, Dinsdale clan loves Trentham
This is a nice place for a picnic and a walk through the bush. The cache is in good condition, but the pen is missing.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
#1600 Whoop Whoop yah. Our 1600th cache at last! Found on our way to Ballarat for the weekend on a cold wintery day. There was plenty of falling water going over the edge. Signed log at 3.56pm, took nothing, left Lawn mower PT. TFTC Flattreker
Stopped here before, both for a cache and to check out the views but it was all quite some years back so good to stop again. Quite a few muggles doing strange exercises today but they wern't near GZ
TDC met up on our regular Monday night cache run. We started in the eastern suburbs before heading west to collect a few caches, then made our way back east through the city and on to hit the bikes. It was pretty cool during the night and we had a few sprinkles of rain but luckily we didn't get caught in any downpours. As usual great company with plenty of laughs.
We had a few drizzles of rain as we headed down to GZ. The long grass was wet and we also got a bit wet too. GPS's were floating around a bit and we spread out to narrow down GZ. Marshy ended up locating the cache. A nice area too. Thanks.

Another Monday night, and another run with members of The Demolition Crew. We had a few objectives to complete, which we did, taking us around a few places. Another fun night, with some great humor and great company as usual, where we cleared many in the Melbourne area as well.

A little walking around to get the coords to lock on, but we got it in the end. We were out this way so decided to grab this one. TFTC.

I was out and about with some good caching buddies, chasing a waypoint for an unfound cache, and decided to pick up a few caches as we went. This cache was one of them. We were out this way so why not. Thanks.
We have visited this area many times over the past 40 years and we enjoyed it more on this cool sunny morning due to finding the cache after our GPS settled! Not much water flowing today. Just got back to the car when the muggle Rangers came to do some work!! TCTF flattreker and bringing us back for another visit.
Found at 1316hrs, replaced cache, and went back to the car for a pen, came back down and signed log!
Note to self, pen stays in pocket for the rest of today!
No swaps, thanks for the hide here

Seemed slightly off for my GPS, but I looked in the obvious spots and soon had the cache in hand.
The creek was actually falling today
Not exactly a Niagara falls, but there was a goodly flow of the wet stuff off the edge [^]
The cache was found out of sight of both the falls and the Melbourne load of weekend tourists

Lots of cars in the carpark but no people on the tracks we wanted. An echidna heard us coming and started digging in as we approached. Quick find in the expected place, cache in good condition. Thanks.
Water is still running over, and seeing a rainbow in the fall was special. Located cache with geodaughter murasaki cat Thank you flattreker for the cache
Searched a couple of possible locations whilst making sure none of the tree twigs and branches around didn't "move"... after locating the cache and signing the log, we made our way back to the car only to find I was covered in bits of plants. Spent the next couple of minutes pulling it all off of my jacket and shoe laces. Great area here though, the sight of the falls with the peaceful sound of the wildlife, very serene. TFTC
The GPSr led us on a bit of a merry dance, taking us from one possible location to another all the while ensuring our feet were covered by seeds and burrs. In the end we found the cache in a spot that matched the clue.
This turned out to be quite an adventure. Bugbear (me) left Ladybug behind the safety of the railing and skirted the precipiece to the rocks above the falls (definitely out of bounds!). Then I marvelled at the sight below and took a couple of snaps to prove I had been there - what a view! Oh, back to the cache - somewhere over the creek, through the jungle of thorns, thistles and long grass and up the hill into the "revegetation area". Hmnn, how do we do this??? What about the "wriggly sticks"?? Anyhow after much bush-bashing and some zig-zagging I made it to GZ at 1720 to sign the log. Then almost as much effort to return to the safety of the defined path! Thanks flattreker for the cache and the adventure ... oh and of course, the view.
Fantastic location, if you. Have kids be mindful of the drop off! Stunning scenery! Thanks!
Lots of muggles around today and my phone really doesn't seem to like these bushy locations. Still photographed Joey Kid cos we did try!
It's a pity cachers ruin a beautiful places by putting rubbish in caches. We cleaned out rotting jelly beans & cigarette filters. Please play properly & leave swaps not rubbish.
Whilst waiting for a table at a restaurant in nearby Trentham we decided to go for a drive to the nearby falls. Upon arrival we discovered that there was a cache to be had. Arrived at GZ to discover there were a couple of plump lesbians just the other side but a bit preoccupied so I dived in and grabbed the cache before they even realized I was there. TFTC.
A second find for the day. The falls are going awesome at the moment. What a nice place for a picnic. Tftc
Easy find in an interesting location. Seems to me we need to come back for a swim in the wamer months.
Found with bogonghazy on a day over to Blackwood, Trentham, Musk and in between. With all the recent rain the water was powering down today. Thanks for brining me here flattreker, it must be 35-40 years since I was here.
Quick find after locating the right track down.
A beautiful spot with so much water flowing over the top, certainly roaring today.
Sully used her new GPS to take a photo, wonder if it can brew a good cuppa too.....
Thanks flattreker, a favorite from me, these spots are what caching's all about

What a beautiful location. The Trentham Falls were crashing down heavily after the heavy rainfall we have had. Spectacular views. B1 tracked through the bush to find this cache, while B2 got hooked up in the scenery. The creek was truly falling. Thanks flattreker for this cache.

Easter with a good amount of muggle traffic but no bother. Picnicked about 20m from GZ.
Lovely stroll to Trentham falls, hadn't been in years! A lot of muggles but managed stealth and got the goods!!!
Weekend away with bushfire up at our caravan at Lake Eppalock for two days of caching.
Never been to this area nice spot for a walk on a hot day.
Thanks for the hind.

After spending the last two nights at vicfires Caravan up at Lake Eppolock and caching all day in Bendigo with a superb roast dinner with many beers and a couple of bottles of very good wine it was not hard to sleep but a little harder to get moving this morning.
After breakfast the camp was tidied up and this was the first cache on our homeward trip.
What a surprise to find this lovely area that I have never been to before.
Thanks to flattreker for showing us this location.

Found 1605 during a quick caching stop on the drive home to Melbourne. I was a little unsure about entering the revegetation area (what with the keep out signs and all) but there was an obvious geotrail to follow, so follow it I did. The cache was quickly located and the logbook signed. Rescued the 'Farr Kerr Froglet' TB from captivity and moved on. The logbook is full and could do with replacing. Thanks for the cache.
Drove here from Trentham, just a short stroll down from the carpark to this cache, got a bit of a view of the calm water just before it drops over the edge. Not much water flowing today though.
Students from Noble Park Special SDS staying at Blackwood Special Schools OEC decided to try their luck in Trentham after participating in Blackwood on their first day at camp.
Visited the falls to discover a number of caches. Students thoroughly enjoyed the falls and the geo-caching discoveries. The cache was in good condition.
Thank you for taking the time to establish this cache.

Found today whilst out on an event filled work field trip, which culminated in us locking these keys in the car in this car park. Since we had stopped at these falls to take photos, it was too good an opportunity for me not to quickly try and find this cache. After strolling off the main path, I quickly found the cache and signed the log book. The cache is in good condition. After that I headed down to look at the fall, which after the recent rains, were looking very impressive. Thanks for bring me to this spectacular place and thanks for the cache flattreker
