For over 8 years, this little container, which I honestly didn't think would last more than a few months, has stood the test of time, and tide. As the container itself was a Christmas container, the whole theme of the cache would be lost if it was replaced with just another container, so its time to put him to bed.

Thanks for the comments ashwalker, I will go check it out this weekend to see if it has gone missing.
I've looked twice with a mate and no go. Either we are blind or the cache has been removed. Can a local cacher help me out?
I've already seen Christmas stuff in the shops so it seemed a appropriate to find this guy. Nice quick grab and nice views too.

And a mountain of thanks goes to Zoe for helping out with some badly needed maintenance.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Bundyrumandcoke. We found your cache "Santas little helper" at 11:59:00 AM today.
This was our 8th cache find in a caching run of 12 Finds & 4 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9611.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our "next closest" route took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.
Thedaytime viw from here is great. We may return to look at the night time scenery.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: [Red]Container, log book and swaps are in poor shape.[/Red]
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

The container is broken and the contents are in a sorry state. This cache really needs some owner TLC
TFTF nice lookout and good spot for a cache . Cache is is good condition missing the lid to container.
Had just spent new years in Gladstone as Geo Partner could only scrounge one day off from work so i did the dash in car from home. Was just about to drop off Geo Partner near by depot for more time at Alcatrez (what he calls work on island close by) and we thought we'd grab this cache. Cache has no lid as such but otherwise in good condition. TFTC.
Left the caravan at the free stay, again, for another assault on Gladstone caches.
A good variety for a small community.
Found this one in good condition and well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, Bundyrumandcoke.

As a returning local, it was nice to visit some old spots with a new purpose. The container needs some tlc.
The Lid to the little helper is disintegrating and no longer fits. The geocache details slip has faded. Everything is in plastic so hopefully any rain caught in the cache won't get the goodies.
Found this one during the day and went back for a night look. Was saving this one for Christmas but didn't get to it until today. Still lots of lights to look at and heaps of wind which kept the mozzies away. Reading the logs it is surprising how long some of the goodies have been there. We took the yoyo and the rhino and left some snowflakes for someone else's chrissy tree. Great cache container!!
Enjoyed the sights from the little helpers hide TFTC Bundyrumandcoke TNLNSL
Found Ya, Nice easy find, Thanks for showing us this great lookout, Thanks for the hunt.
Cool spot. Another of Gladstone's little hidey spots tucked away until a cacher draws our attention to it!

great spot........this is what i like about cacheing......the places that you would not normally find. Wish i could have seen it of a night time esp xmas.......perhaps another time. Log book was wet/damp and I didnt bring my repair kit with on this visit.........santa needs some love. Propped him up until some else could help him out.... [:o)]
I told myself that I would only find one today and I found 2 =) thanks for the cache TNLNSL
Nice easy find while out Geocaching for the day, managed to find it, sign log and put back in its place just as a few muggles appeared.

TFTC! Been holding onto a Rudolf wooden plaque for over a year now, aiming to get it into a Christmas themed cache in Victoria. However while down visiting friends in Gladstone I saw this cache and thought well here's my chance! But alas he was a bit too big. Nice view of Gladstone at 2230hrs, unfortunately was a little late for the Christmas lights. TNLNSL
The lid is pretty loose but cache not too bad. Great views from the lookout. SL. TNLN. TFTC
Another beautiful and sunny day in Gladstone...when we arrived, there was a muggle sitting in his car near the lookout but he didn't watch us when we searched and it was found by Ms Bushies2, cute cache but the lid is starting to wear out. Thanks Bundyrumandcoke.
Quick find at 1020. The white gate was locked so we parked there. A very short level walk to GZ. Found quickly. Sat on rocks and wrote in log. Everything is fine and dry. No traffic on htis little road whilst we were there. Was an interesting view form the lookout at the end of the road. Have always though of Gladstone as a place to visit and leave but our opinion has changed just as Gladstone has changed over the past few years. TNLNSL TFTC
Easy find. Had the headlights right on it. Contents were wet so I brought home to dry. Took back the next day. Very excited this is my first cache.
Found with Dotty_Loves_You.
Steep walk up to this one but was worth it to find this differently shapped cache full of swaps.

Nice container =) Bean Caching found it quickly. Full of goodies which is always nice. Had lots of water in it though and a red stamp has leaked over everything. Bit smelly.
Took a sparkly gold bauble I've been wanting to find =D Left my card and an animal as always. Bean Caching took a cool Hell Bank Note.
5th find of 8 for the day.

Haaaa ha! Definitely made me smile when we found this cache. Interestingly shaped lookout nearby, too. TFTC! ='.'=
Many thanks for an excellent idea for a cache. We celebrated with our 100th find. Took nothing, and left four Xmas baubles.
What a cute cache. We headed up the road a little further to take in the views from the lookout - doesnt look like it gets a lot of use other than by the hoons.
Another good little view near GZ. Cache was an easy find on a drizzly day. Thanks to Bundyrumandcoke.
Bonjour from French Canadians,
Holidaying from Quebec, Canada. Having a geocaching great time in Australia!!

Drove to the lookout & had a look at the trains then waited for the numerous muggles to leave. Found the cache & left a polished stone (Jasper), one of my favourites. Thanks
Another lookout spot I would'nt have known about if a cache was not here. If I'm in Gladstone at Xmas I'll go to this lookout for sure. Found the cache in festive good condition. Took rodeo star TB and left cheerleader TB. TFTC Bundyrum&coke
Found this cache on our 1st day of caching in the Gladstone area. Was a little confused by the name but once the cache was found it all made sense. Thanks for bringing us here.
TN L 1 x GC for someone to discover. Coin is from the Townsville area so please don't move it to there.

Found with Triamks at 20:00. Triamks's iPhone had died so we only had the car GPS to go by. We were lucky to find it. TFTC.
Found with Shell at 20:00. This one was a bit of pot luck. I had programmed its location in my GPS earlier but my iPhone had died so we couldn't pinpoint the cache's exact location. However, we found it. TFTC.
Great spot, nice view . Thank you.
T -TB x 2, they are in my luggage on a plane, I will log them tomorrow.

I seen the lights (and the sights) with many a girl during my teenage years from this location!!! another great hide

Thanks Bundy...
Did not manage to get up here last night but we have been to all the places with great views today! Thanks sant Nick [|)]
Stopped by to drop off a Santa TB apparently Weihnachtsmann is German for Santa. Grabbed the Sol de Lune pathtag and the German GC.
Bundy's January log concern about the cache container came true when the little fellow split his sides as I was packing it back up. A dose of solvent glue solved the problem and all is well again.

Oh! The perils of geocaching. Followed Bundy's instructions and searched for it at night. Great views but spoiled by the graffiti. Found the cache without too much trouble. Took out the diabetes travel bug and replaced it with a flat Christmas bell. We were just about to replace the cache when a muggle police car turns up. Had to explain what we were doing. The policeman shook his head and said that we were another lot of mad geocache buggers. I guess we are and proud of it too. Thanks once again Bundy.
Called in today for a bit of a check up. It really does amaze me this container has lasted as long as it has, over 2 years. My major concern when placed was the potential for the container to get broken. It has stood the test of time remarkably well.
Dropped off a couple of trackables, as well as a pathtag (the first one I have seen) Like a trackable, but different. Look for it in the log book bag.
Cheers

Found just after the sun went down and we had to fight the mosquitos off while finding the cache. TNLN TFTC!!!
Found it just on dark with Matt_stomper on our way back to Gladstone from our New Year Celebrations in Townsville. The mozzies were prevalent so wear aeroguard if your prone to be bitten. TFTC
Cool Find
What a lot of trinkets, very Christmas orientated.
May the thong be with you.

Easy find. Unfortunately no Christmas lights. Left silver Christmas star decoration. TFTC
An easy find with Spark & Wiz. Hint very helpful. To keep with the Christmas theme we left a star decoration, although poor old Santa is looking a bit full and jolly already. Gladstone looks like one big mass of Christmas lights from here. Signed the log. TFTC.
It's 7:15pm and I've just got Home from finding this one. No Christmas lights around yet, Maybe still a bit early.
My work colleague, Paula, found this really. In the dark. Without a GPS. I had the torch, the GPS and some history of looking for and finding caches. It is seriously frustrating when a complete novice, without any aids, and (dare I say it) a GIRL!, comes along and, without even batting an eyelid, finds a cache that I, a BOY, had been looking for for what seemed like ages. There really is something wrong with this world! Thanks Bundyrumandcoke for giving someone the excuse to give me more grief at work!

A quick easy find whilst introducing the in-laws to geocaching. Not quite like the rest of bundy's caches, but good views none the less.

Found quickly, a drive by really. Went to check out the views from the tower up the road.
Once re-enabled, this cache will contain a well travelled travel bug. Well travelled- but not through the Geocaching system.

Spotted by Mrs Fishfiend our second find for the day and her first ever.
TNLN just signed the logbook.
May have been seen putting it back. Being noobs we were unsure what to do so left it and hoped we weren't noticed. Will check on it tommorrow while out and about.
Edit - It's all good.

Dropped past in the rain to check this one out at night, and to steal the Jeep TB. Had intended to leave a TB behind, but the cupboard, she was full. And with the rain, the view was fairly obscured, but still worth catching. So a mixed visit this time.
