went for a walk with a previous finder today and could not find the cache. I think it may need some CO attention but the CO has not logged on for over 4 years
DNF for this one with shaneo58, we came past the big wombat hole, and went to GZ where we had a good look all around GZ, no marker to be found unless you mean the star picket. Also looked at previous logs for hints, all saying how easy this was. It hasn't had any finds for 2 years, so could do with a check by CO or previous finders cphoenix.
Attempted to find this at 1:04:00 PM on 6Aug2020

No luck on this one today. Its been a while since it was found. Maybe gone? Thx anyway.
I had been wanting to find this cache for a while but every time I had the time it was raining, This afternoon the sun finally came out so of I headed. I parked at Team Novo's parking co ords which were great. Then a short walk with a very quick find at GZ in the first place I looked. Thanks for the cache cphoenix and bateau Bay Bandit. tnln replaced as found sl
Once we went across the first bridge we thought that the Geocache was in the wombat hole but it wasn't there. It was a long way ahead of us. It was our 2nd cache. We saw a waratah flower on the way.

With milder weather today, I decided to do the next leg of my barefoot hike along the Great North Walk, this one being from Palm Grove in Ourimbah Valley to Cherry Lane near Kulnura. As this cache was right beside the track, it was a must-find along the way.
I quickly identified a likely place for it to be, although the track marker mentioned in the hint must have been removed at some point as I couldn't see one anywhere. But no matter, the cache was soon spotted. The log is slightly damp but otherwise it's all in good nick.
Many thanks for the hide and providing a convenient place for a snack break on the hike!

12.50pm of streak day #54
I had Kavaju's GC5JZQM multi planned for today's leapfrog cache but eldest geokid didn't want to go out anywhere today and youngest wanted to bike ride. Hmmm. So I put my filter search to good use to find something we could ride our bikes to ..and also maybe knock off a square for our P81 as well. This one came up so I took a google earth printout of all the cool looking tracks in the area and off we went on this warm and dry but overcast sort of day.
We parked at S33° 15.073 E151° 14.524 and treadlied up to the trail head and along the first part of our journey, finding the trail pretty good going for bikes except for the odd sandy patch. We made a pretty quick find at GZ but found the contents fairly damp so we laid everything out in the sunlight in a nearby patch of bush (no breeze today) and continued our ride up the track. Once you go about 50m past GZ there is a lovely view into a valley to the SE. We continued east to the GNW junction at S33° 15.128 E151° 15.291 as we were eager to try some of the tracks to the north ..but there was a sign at the junction to the north saying *Private Property* so we just headed back via a little loop. When we got back to the cache it had completely dried off so we SL (TNLN) re-stocked the cache and hid exactly as we found behind the perfect camo. Thanks cphoenix for another Monopoly cache (our 3rd one) and thanks for leading us to a great spot for a bike ride!

#796 Twenty fourth of thirty two finds on a brilliant days caching around the Central Coast hinterland. Nice quick and easy find. TFTC
Found. Really nice area for a walk. Nice and flat. Cache is damp and in poor condition.
An old cache. Lovely views as the sun set. Beautiful area. A favourite from me. It deserves one after 9 years. Tftc

To be honest I was hoping for a little more of a view on this walk. I did see a small monitor and almost had a stroke on the way, but that was the only highlight for me. I am pleased however to have found another access point for the Great North Walk, as this area is one of the last sections that I have yet to walk. Cache was in the logical spot. A little damp but ok. TNLN TFTC
Not being familiar with the area, I needed sometime to find the trailhead.. Nice walking to GZ! After the finding and signing, a nice couple was approching.. They got me! Before whatever they were thinking, I asked if they were geocachers. The lady... "Geo... what?".. And that's when I explained everything about it. Apparently, they liked it!

Out for a huge day of caching with Mr Roo. We planned on doing as much of the local area as possible. We ended up getting 60+ for the day and had a great time doing it.
Out today for a huge day with darkside dan. We had planned on doing as much of the motorcycle series. On the way we thought we would get as many other caches as well. We ended up getting 64 for the day and that's why i say sorry about the copy paste logs. Thanks for the caches and we had a blast together
With another work free day to play with, thought I would get this little green mark off my map and turn it into a smiley...! Thought about doing it some months ago but the consensus at the end of a gruelling day was that the final 1.6Km round trip walk way just too far.
This time it was an enjoyable rather flat stroll that took very little effort as we soaked up the sights and sounds of the Aussie bush to and from the easy find.
The log bag was past its best so we replaced it a nice new one.
TNLN SL TFTC, really don't know why we put it off for so long...

Being more of a 'Squatter' board game fan, than Monopoly, I enjoyed the walk through 'our' typical Australian bush. Pulled a few weeds out along the way.
After a short and intense hunt found the well hidden cache. TNLN

1615 GAFF1 After finding a trig station not too far away I stopped by and took a nice walk, pulling out a few weeds on the way. At least there was no rubbish on this part of the track. The cache was just visible, so tried to cover in a similar way.

This has been on the 'to do' list for quite some time as it is always sitting in the rear vision mirror so to speak. Had a de ja vu monment as I have actually been down this lane before going to the anual open day of the nursery across the road from the entrance. walked down the track and arived at gz. looked for some time and stepped over the cache multiple times before it was discovered. Had a blowout on one of my thongs as the breadclip gave way, so walked back barefoot (the best way to go) TFTC!!!
TFTC - We'll worth the drive and walk. Heard a snake rustling through the bushes saw what appeared to be a Wombats home, just a nice place to be.
Out with the Geofam on Beautiful Sunny Sunday doing a trail in the area. This was a nice walk, after all the drive ups we have done this morning. Cache was in plain site when we found it. hidden nicely now. TFTC. Haydos101 was happy to see the fresh Wombat hole along the fence line.., May come back and stake it out one evening.
Finished early today so I headed up Bumble Hill for a few caches. Never knew about this Trail-Head, must come back and go all the way to bottom of hill. Pleasant stroll, however bring your anti-trip pills, lots of trip-roots here. No sign at GZ BTW, not needed though, coords are pretty good.

Lovely walk through bush on a very wet track. Would suggest that the driving instructions be altered as track does not leave from waypoint.
Very impressive wombat burrow on route. An enjoyable short section of the Great North Walk. TFTC
Thought I would get this one so off on a short walk on the Great North Walk and soon arrived at the GZ and quickly sing and retunred the cache to its home Thanks cphoenix for the hide
A pleasant walk lead us to a great cache
Thanks Patted the nearby horse for a while

A nice sunny day for a GNW. The track was like a small stream all the way to GZ after the torrential rain we have been having. Loved seeing the huge wombat hole and the Crimson finches in the nearby trees. Signed log and left some trinkets. TFTC
Found today after several days of rain. Saw a wombat residence near the start of the track and thanked him/her for creating low detours around several small trees across the path. The walking track sometime runs along the same ground as a small stream. We enjoyed wandering/squelching along in the sunshine, spotting a few tadpoles in the water.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Lovely cool day today, nice stroll on track straight to gz as found it was show cache, lucky very well then return cover well.. lovely long walk return... thanks
Easy find thanks for the walk. Geokid pick up a leech on the way out, first leech and was kinda freaked.

We parked right outside Paradise Plants for their open day but first ducked down the GNW for a good short bushwalk to this cache, well hidden but easily spotted by a cacher. TN but left a $2 NZ coin. Afterwards we went back to the open day with well priced quality plants, excellent large gardens and quirky sculptures, and we even patted an alpaca. Thanks to cphoenix and bateaubaybandit (are you still active?) for being part of our great day out.
Eighth of thirteen found today, found with dalsmit, spikeymikey and markajharrison and again no idea, so glad I signed the log to prove I was actually there. I think the medication is affecting my recall.

Although a long walk from Cherry Lane, we found it pleasant.
Thanks for a good one

Drove to chosen access point at Cherry lane only to find a delightful rural market in progress. Grabbed a sausage from the mangrove mountain fire brigade and then took off to the cache.
A nice flat walk along the way in. DS jr intrigued by big wombat hole along the way.
TNLN
Then headed off to dead horse creek. Lots of "dead horse" back at the markets - probably not the type they had in mind when they named the creek.

After honing in on the cache and with a few clues passed on, I eventually located "Coventry Street". This could become very addictive ....

This is the second of TeamWolfie's Monopoly finds. We approached from the west, and after this continued on to Dead Horse Creek - not sure if that's the easiest way to DHC or not. We paid the $22 Rent (property with no houses) by depositing a precious "Red Gem" and taking some Australia stickers as change. TFTC

Tried to get here from the north, off Forest Rd, but the track shown on the map is on private land, so we went around and approached from Chery Lane. Nice walk. Easy find. Thanks.

Thanks for the cache! Took the 3 y/o geokid for a stroll & let him find it as I read the clues beforehand. Great trail. My boy wanted to go in the wombat hole on the way, which took some convincing to change his mind. Will definately be back to find Dead Horse Creek. Took a rubber ball & a finger monster & left 'Sherlock Holmes' & some cable ties.
the car GPS was showing a path only soon found out was only a walking path. Found it easily. Left wristband, took nothing, signed log. TFTC!
After a few false starts down the wrong track we found the right one and eventually found the start of the walking track.
Nice warm late autumn day for a walk into the bush. Plenty of evidence of wild life around.
Took rubber ball, left rubber ducky.
