Due to the high loss of stage one coordinate magnet we are now starting at the original stage two. The new coordinates are S45 24,610 E 167 42,372
Due to Geocaching not allowing us to move stage one to the location of stage two we are going to remove this cache.

First one pretty easy to find although had never seen that type of cache container before. Had to think a little out of the box for the second one. For the third one, think jungle. Took us on a walk we wouldn’t have taken!! SL. TFTC.
Sorted this out to get to the final. When myself and caching friend were hunting in the bushes, a local (we presume) spotted us and mentioned quite nastily to our mate waiting, that the toilets were over the road! Needless to say she won't be going in to check if we were caching or doing our business haha. tftc
Tried two nights in a row but couldn't get even the first one... Granted I'm always in a rush with our party in tow haha
At stage 1 I found nothing. I then took a walk along the lake, starting in the wrong direction but eventually I came to stage 2 where the box was on the ground. I placed it where I think it should be. At the final point it was much easier to find the cache once I came from the right direction. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden.
*Arrived to New Zealand and Auckland from Stockholm, Sweden via Bangkok for a two week group travel. In Auckland we toured the city, sailed in the harbor and visited Waiheke Island. Continued with bus to Rotorua via Huntly and the interesting Waitomo Caves. Outside Rotorua we visited Wai-o-tapu, the impressive and active geothermal area, and the Tamaki Maori Village. Continued by air to Wellington with a visit to the museum Te Papa and the exhibition about Gallipoli as well as the cable car up to the Botanical Garden. The next day we went by ferry to the South Island in very nice weather accompanied by dolphins/purpoises. Via the Marlborough vine district we came to Nelson were we stayed two nights. The next day we went to Abel Tasman National Park, a lovely day trip by boat and foot. Then by bus to Hokitika via Murchinson, Punakaiki (the impressive pancake rocks) and Greymouth (beer tasting at the Monteith’s brewery). The day after it started to rain on the way to Franz Josef and it rained heavily on the walk to the Franz Josef Glacier of which we saw nothing. The leap day was spent by bus to Wanaka via Lake Matheson (with a nice walk around the lake and a view of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman), Haast and Makarora. The next day we continued to Te Anau via Cromwell, Gibbston Winery and Kawarau Bridge (with bungy jumps but not me). The next day we went to Milford Sound in the Fiordland National Park. Luckily it was opened a few days earlier after heavy rains that damaged the road, so the bus traffic was restricted with convoy driving three times a day. The boat trip in the fjord was very very nice. After that we travelled via Te Anau to Queenstown, the last stop. The day after was spent sightseeing and geocaching with a last dinner at Walter Peak High Country farm with a boat trip on Lake Dunstan with TSS Earnslaw. The next morning we started the long way back to Sweden via Auckland and Bangkok. All in all a very nice group travel to a very nice country!*

I tried to find stage 1, but didn't find anything. So I found another way to sign the logbook. After the Milford Sound Tour I finished the multi. Thanks for hiding!

I also could not find stage 1. My wife and I were planning to walk the lake anyway and just happened to pick the correct direction. Stage 2 was found quickly using the hint. The final was more difficult as I had to wait out some campers that were making dinner nearby. A favorite point.
Fortunately I glanced at the logs, especially JR_117's log, before trying this one. I did not even look for number one, but searched directly for the second point. My first guess was wrong, so I had a bit of a walk before finding the right spot. A veritable jungle at the final point! But since there are no snakes or other dangerous animals in New Zealand I ventured in and found the cache. TFTC.
Found this one after a roller coaster of a search...
We spent a solid 10 minutes searching at wp1 for something which we just could not find, despite widening our search to include spots which obviously did not fit the hint provided. Best guess is, that it’s missing. Feeling down, we decided to take a stab in the dark at finding waypoint 2 based off of the hints and cache description alone. We took a 50/50 guess at which way to head along the foreshore, and went a good few hundred metres before considering turning around. Just as we said that, however we spotted something which fit perfectly, and had a rush of hope again! We searched and, amazingly, wp2 was found! From here, and after an elated stroll to GZ, we managed to locate the final cache without ever finding wp1. This was an epic roller coaster of emotions and, despite being unintentional, gets a favourite point from me for that entire saga! Thanks for the cache, you may need to check up on wp1 though!

I could find the stations and also the can was found after 10 min searching.

After dinner we took a walk here. It was rather cold and windy, but nice view!
First part was easy, too easy.. I made it harder, second was also found rather quickly, but final we had to search a while for before I saw something interesting! The cache.
Then logging was not any problem even if I had to approach it from the other side.

Finally our trip to New Zealand is real! We started with half a day in Singapore and then we continued to New Zealand before finalizing the trip with 2 days in Sydney.
We have been able to see a lot, fantastic nature, many different and new birds and also a "few" geocaches.
Thanks a lot for the cache - Greetings from Sweden!

?????? Vacation at the original locations of the LotR-films! ??????
Together with Jon Snow and H_Nelson and some friends-of-mine-muggles we went to New Zealand for almost four weeks, collecting many great impressions of both islands, their awesome landscapes, their clinging (and indeed very annoying!) muggles and bushes, their fascinating wildlife (especially the sandflies were very clinging, too??), their various locations of my favorite movies ?? (although the guided tours were very overpriced!) and last but not least their nice geocaches!
I fell especially in love with New Zealand's bushes because most of the caches are hidden deep inside. And the good thing is: there are definitely no muggles there??!!!
It was a very nice vacation with many great impressions and experiences!
The very last cache of the year. Found it just before new year's eve fireworks started together with Cherike Joneski.
TFTC and greetings from Bavaria, Ari

That was waaaaay harder than the ratings for difficulty and terrain but with help of a follower geocacher we found it! Ari
We made the walk with the car. We weren't not in the mood to walk. All the stations are easy to find, same as the final.

Didn't manage to find the final cache. The area where it should be was flooded a few days ago - maybe the flood waters took it?
I checked it yesterday 15th Dec and it was still there and dry after having been submerged !!!

Found over four days, a stage a day plus an overnight at Milford Sound. Third part was hardest - lots of water....
Needed some time for stage 2 but then got to the cache quite easily after a short walk. Thanks!
This was a hard one. Almost gave up but had a last look and it paid off. Much effort for the multi, good luck to all!
KL6 and I are in NZ for 16 days or so exploring the South Island. We plan to visit the Fjordland and all the up the Punakaki flat rock vía the west coast. Then back down to the lakes, Punaki, Tekapo, and Wanaka. Finally back in Queenstown after our huge campervan adventure.
Thanks to kev n chris for the Cache! Found around 7:39 PM - signed as Wæki3 (shorthand for Wæki3_KL6). This is Find #2160. We’ve also contributed a lot of caches in the Flagstaff Arizona area, and currently to date we’ve hidden 85 caches.

Good to have something fun to do on a day in Te Anau when the Milford Road was closed, and it was a pleasant walk along the waterfront chatting to the ducks —- found it all but got quite wet and muddy at Stage 3.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
All found ok. Had several goes at the cache, muggles kept parking right by it. Then had to navigate a muddy puddle. All good in the end. A bit cool for my picnic though
Cool multi cache. Had to do over two days as was dark after visiting the glow worms and getting too late for our minis
We like to do multis in new areas, as it can be a good way of exploring.
Got to wp1 and nothing found. Read the last log and saw he had said the same.
Decided to chance our luck and started exploring. Wp2 was found on the 5th object searched and at GZ the final was found easily by Viv as Tim is a bit tall for the necessary ducking. As wp has gone, I'm logging a nm.

As the first stage is missing and we will not be able to fix it until the end of March if you go towards the boat harbour on the walking track you will come to the second stage as per the clue.
Stopping in Te Anau before going to Milford Sound then up to Queenstown.
Having checked into the hotel, we decided to go for a walk around the lake edge and pick up a few caches.
I looked and stage 1 appears to be missing, but by using some caching initiative and a bit of luck, I located stage 2 and was able to complete the cache.
The cache is hidden quite a way in and you have to fight your way to the container, but I got there in the end!! Signed log and replaced as found.

It was about 7am when I went looking for this one, so I had plenty of opportunity to search for Stage 1, but simply couldn't find anything that resembled what I was supposed to find at the Hint. I looked further afield, but with the same lack of success. Cache creep perhaps?
Pleasant walk in the evening sunshine with great views. Nicely hidden, the stages. To get to the final needed a bit of crawling through scrub.

I was taking a break in Te Anau for a couple of days, in between hiking the Rakiura and Kepler Tracks. I spent today doing a few short walks and finding a few caches in the greater Te Anau area. Worked on this multi this morning and soon found the final cache at GZ. TFTC!
During my trip to New Zealand I visited some Caches, this was one of them. Thank you to all owners!
On an early morning stroll, an ideal opportunity to try for this multi. Very quiet, just a few runners. We found the cache exactly as per the hint and picked up the trackable.
As we continued walking we watched the sea plane take off from the beautiful calm lake, not a ripple in sight.

My parents (aka Doolins) are visiting Wellington from Toronto fro 24 days, and along the way we found many caches. Apologies for the very late log. TFTC
Today we are driving from Te Anau north along the road towards Milford Sound and back. We are visiting from Toronto ON Canada to spend 24 days with our daughter who lives in Wellington NZ. Quick stop at GZ. Found at 4:53 PM. Thank you kev n chris for placing and maintaining this cache.
Visiting from British Columbia Canada and after a great tour in to Milford Sound today we had time to grab a couple of caches in Te Anau before settling in for the night. Had a nice walk around town and along the lake. Dropped of a trackable that we picked up in the USA before coming here. TFTC
Started this a week ago before doing the Hollyford and now back before doing the Kepler for the second time was a good chance to complete this small but lovely multi.
A great little walk and a really good use of magnets!
TFTC and a nice little early morning lake walk.

Found during my rest day in Te Anau after returning from the famous Milford trek. It was nice weather today. Few days ago it was around zero degrees celsius, strong wind and it was snowing in Te Anau and today around 20 degrees celsius, sunny and now wind. Pleasure to walk around a to look for a caches. I found today 13 caches, 11 traditional, this multi cache and one earth cache. This was my first successfully finished multi cache in New Zealand. A couple of multies I tried already to finished, but not with a success. Everywhere was same problem. In my opinion, in general the multi caches are here little bit harder with the same grade of difficulty like in Europe. From my country Slovakia is New Zealand distant around 18000 km and the caches found here are my farthers. With such good hints it seemed to be easy to find. But it took my some time to found bouth stages and also the final box. Thanks for the cache.
On our trip through NZ we stopped here und found this Cache.
The location of the final is unfortunately not as good as the idea of this cache.

Enjoyed the hunt for this multi. No problem at WP #1, but had to rely on my muggle husband at WP #2. I was glad that there was nobody around at the final location so we could hunt around a bit. Found a good way in to GZ, stepped over the traps and made the find. All good fun. TFTC
22084 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we had time to do a short walking multi near the water. All wp found, because of the hints, and the cache by crauling through the bush behind. Nicely done. Favo.

As others have mentioned no.2 is not there but went with my gut and went looking for the final . muggle campervan parked up on my first attempt . so went for a short walk (around the Kepler) and had another go when I got back ..

I was really lost at this one to start with. I went to waypoint 1 a few days ago, but could not find it, and the logs on the GPS did not go far enough for me to work out what's going on until later. Although I had a vague idea about the potential direction/location, I TAF'ed and was soon onto the final. A bit of perseverance in the vegetation did get me there eventually. Phew! TFTC!!
Had a walk along here but was unable to find Waypoint 2. Continued on to the last waypoint hint and did an unsuccessful hunt. Gave up but came back in the evening and entered from a different direction and a bit of a scramble to eventually locate the cache. Found an easier way on the way out. Tftc kev n chris
Staying in Te Anau for a couple of nights whilst on a touring holiday of NZ. Saw this multi yesterday but saw from logs that WP1 was missing. Checked thro other logs last night & decided to give it a go after our trip to the glow worm caves. Walked along to WP2 & identified GZ but this container also seems to be missing, continued the walk hoping to identify final hiding place from the clue. Had a bit of a search but no joy so sat in the sun & ate our lunch, determined to find this Mrs G went back for another search & success - cache was found, log signed & returned! TFTC. Greetings from UK
Wp1 missing as advised by owner. Found several bridges at DOC that potentially could have been wp2 but in the end after looking for a while I decided a coffee was a better option. Wasn't really sure where the boat harbour was. Jetties for a few things including a float plane, helicopter, water taxi etc. Had walked right first at end of main street. No bridges. Went left. Hmm. Giving up! Sorry!
Well having given up I started walking back to the holiday house and spotted what must have been wp2 but didn't find any thing there. Carried on and finally spotted what I thought would be gz. It was! Hooray! Thanks, COs for the cache.
From wp1 head to lake and turn right (north). Bridge at wp2 is not over water.
Cheers Kevin and Chris
Cheers Kevin and Chris
As stated the first one was missing. Despite the note from the guys who placed it regarding the second one, we still couldn't figure out which "bridge". Hunger sent us packing back to our hotel half a mile back up the road
Had an inkling where the final could be, so wandered along until it kind of felt a bit cachey. Looked in a few spots before spotting the right spot. All is good at the Final. No TB.
Really enjoyed the lakeside walk & even more so earning a smiley.

It appears that the first way point is gone!!! As we will not be able to replace it for a few weeks walk along the water front towards the boat harbour and at the little bridge check clue 2. Good luck. Cheers Kevin and Chris
After missing first stage and help from CO, I went to second... nil there.. then went to 3rd hint and nil to be seen... I'll give up ... greeting from Scotland
We are on a road trip around the south of the South Island. Today is our last day in Te Anau so we decided to look for the caches around town. WP1 was a bit tricky as there was a bunch of muggles around at the time. WP2 proved to be very elusive. We had the place to ourselves but could not find what we were looking for. We were a bit disappointed not to be able to find it. We read the clues and previous logs and with a bit of luck we headed to where we thought the cache might be. After a lengthy search we found the cache safely tucked away. The "Jeeping Around Downunder" TB is not in this cache. We did take the Miro's Geocoin which is not listed in the cache (it is in the hands of Clarksonz). We signed the log and returned the cache to where we found it. TFTC.
As I have always said, I like a Multi that brings you to nice places. It was a very windy walk by the lakeside, and all the waypoints were easily found. Had a wee bit of trouble with the final... I really didn’t expect that to be magnetic. Nice big cache to end the day. TFTC!
After not finding the cache this morning we had to find somewhere big enough to take Leprad. Having found this multi cache on the 16/12/15 we headed back there to drop him off. We then had a picnic beside the marina. Safe travels to Leprad - he made it to Miro St. We are off to Milford.
After a walk from the caravanpark to town, we went to look for some caches in town.
We found a traditional and a multi, a good score to start with.
Wp 2 from the multi, we found lying on the ground and we replaced to its original place.

Woohoo my first ever multi cache. Nothing like having lots of time while everyone is out being crazy and running over a mountain range. Go the Kepler Challenge.
It's always good to go on a walk right after dinner.
The sun was setting and I felt peaceful on my search for this cache.
S2 I missed somehow but with intuition I was able to catch the final can.
Thanks for that and many greetings from Germany.
