Whilst I was in the area today finding some caches I came down to look for this one too.
Parked at the end of Dairy Road and made the short walk along the gravel path towards the bridge! The bridge seems quite new so interesting to see that this cache has been safely in place since 2006! Wonder when this area was developed.
I made my way underneath the bridge, and soon found the cache tucked away in **perfect** condition! The cache container itself was immaculate and sturdy, the logbook was dry and clean, and the magnets were still strong. Absolutely no fault in this cache hide, a great location in a beautiful walking area and a very safe yet good hide
Thanks Tealby for the cache!

After heading south to do the Trail of the Damned, ZQX and I attempted a couple of multis on the way home aiming for a total of 6 for the day (towards a challenge cache). We found one and DNF'd the other. ZQX's backup plan was a multi near here. While he found that one I attempted and found this one. TFTC.

Find 4 of 10 today with Slothlover123. I drew the short straw here and had to reach for the cache, luckily no creepy crawlies in sight.

Found and signed the log with Coybear2000. I had found this one some months back but had left it unsigned so that I could return on a day when I needed a quick one to keep the streak going. Today really wasn't such a day, but I'd noticed that it'd been disabled and that it could soon be archived. As we were going to be in the area we decided to see if it was still in place. Thankfully we did find it where I'd seen it before and this time I left my mark. TFTC
Out with Trodectus for a walk around the wetlands, he wanted to see if this was still in place. Quick find and signed log. TFTC
Yes, I found it ... on the 28 June (sorry about the late log - I seem to have missed logging a few here and there last year, and am just having a catch up on logging at least some of them now
I came here with a group of people for #PhotowalkCanberra (something fun that I found out about on Twitter and figured that while I was here ... LOL ... in fact I even got sneaky and ducked off/under things and found 2 caches during the walk! ... this was the second of those 2 ... and then after the walk was over and everyone left, I went and found 3 more, and took some more photos - lol (last find was when it had got rather dark
TFTC - by the time I had spent a while grabbing the other cache and taking photos of the old bridge, most of the crowd I was with had wandered further along the track, leaving the coast clear for me to play trolls again and snaffle this one too
... I am not sure what the clues are for/what to do with them, but I wrote it down in case I actually get organised and find out/come and find all the others before they go missing/get archived or something (actually I did find another one a week or 2 later ... I hope I took a photo of the clue, because I don't have the clue written beside it in my notebook like I do for this one - lol)

Found on a night ride with Ariesz. Wasn't aware this was a clue series, so took a photo.
Found at night with Torrevieja in the rain on our bikes (well, not actually on our bikes when we made the find). Tftc!
I work nearby here so often come through here at lunchtime. Usually I am not dressed for crawling under bridges but today we had a clean up day ahead of a move so I was suitably dressed in grungy casual gear.
This is a very popular location and many other finders have reported being sprung by cycling, jogging, walking or twitching muggles as they emerge from GZ. Today I was completely muggled - by a fox! I came up from under to find a fox casually strolling over the bridge right above me. We were both equally surprised, but it continued to wander off casually along the path, even while I followed it snapping photos. At one point I was whistled and the fox turned out - you could almost see it wondering whether it should come over to say hello. The abundance of life in the Wetlands - from the feral foxes, rabbits and carp to snakes, raptors, water birds, bush birds and even the local cattle is amazing. A great location! TFTC

Joining the afternoon rush of people driving home just didn't appeal, so I opted to take a wander through the wetlands and pick up a few caches instead. This is my first find for the day, and a straight forward one it was too. Thanks, Tealby!

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Warm spring evening
Cache condition: Good
We had just arrived in Canberra for the long weekend and decided to explore the wetlands, given they were near our hotel. We followed the paths around, enjoying the birdlife and a part of Canberra we weren't familiar with. On the way back, as it was starting to get dark, I had a quick diversion to find this cache. It was hidden better than I was expecting, but the accurate co-ords made it quick find. TFTC.

Found straight away on a beautiful day while riding around Lake Burley Griffin.

Out with the young trolls again today having a bike ride. Cannot resit a bridge to climb under.
So who was that triptraping on my bridge?
Thanks for the find

I was keeping watch while Alwyn crawled under and of course along came some twitchers with stories of parrots. Then there were cyclists. A very busy place when you don't want it to be. Lovely area to walk in - TFTC.
Crawled and found it OK and emerged under the gaze of two bird watchers and two cyclists. And none of them thought it was odd! Strange lot - them not me. Crawling under bridges is natural. TFTC.
Seel is definitely one of my favourites . Pagan and I had set up a system to avoid muggles. Unfortunately something went awry and so we weren't as stealthy as we had hoped, and yet nobody really even gave us a second glance! People are all on a mission here today . Beautiful day to wait and watch the world go by though. Thanks Tealby
Nice easy find, even if I had to keep a tight hold of the Geokid so that he didn't end up taking a very chilly dip. Timed the grab in between passing joggers and cyclists. TFTC!
Found on our walk round the wetlands, nice hide. Had to be discreet to avoid being muggled by cyclists.
A very satisfying find!
This was the last for us today no.6.
I have a friend visiting from Adelaide who is interested in bush regeneration and so I brought him along for some geocaching. We had to wait for several bicycles etc, but once we were at GZ we were protected from sight. TFTC Tealby

Hmmm, debated whether to log this one or not, but it appears it'll be archived soon.
I was riding around the lake and I saw someone emerge from GZ, I stopped and asked "caching?", they replied yes, and offered me the logbook to sign. Which I was more than happy to oblige
Had it not been the case that it might disappear soon, I'd have gone back and "found it" again.

After dropping off the daughter at the airport headed over here to find a few nearby caches. TFTC
I was lonely and without muggles on this drizzly, wintry afternoon. Luckily there was not too much mud around! TFTC.
Found with Psysurge around 3pm on 11 April 2015.
My very first Cache! A fun find though had to be weary of muggles.

Great cache as lots of stealth needed with muggles walking, running, riding and the bird watchers. found with MissAppropriation. TFTC
Found it quickly but the wasps nest near it made the recovery tricky. Got the geocache and signed the book before using a long stick to push it back into its hiding spot.
TFTC out with MGROCKS & JWSTORMY

Caught a woman by surprise on my exit. Assumed I was up to no good no doubt. A busy spot and hard to hear people approaching.
A nice bike ride, then we made like trolls. A fun and exciting cache to find. My son spotted this one first and was thrilled.
Found 21.02.2015 while over this way collecting some gear for scouts.
My apologies for the late log. I found a list that I had neglected to enter.
Thanks for the hunt and the cache.

Received a very "interesting" look from a passing cyclist as I emerged from the hidey hole in my long skirt and sandals! (Had just had lunch with my friend in Queanbeyan.)
Easy find once I had negotiated my way to GZ.

Friend bonked her head on the bridge, but was still fun. Thanks for the cache!
Last one for the nature reserve I think beautiful adventure, thanks for the cache!
Did the troll thing for the third time today, and all in the same area... Getting under was pretty easy, as the coast was clear, but then tried to time my emergence after a horde of elephants had stomped over the bridge. Okay, it was two runners, but the bridge was bouncing...
TNLN - Thanks Tealby!

Quick find fortunately as it was a very warm day. Dropped trackable from USA. Bon voyage. Tftc

A little more difficult to find than my first, but entertaining too. Loads of bullants made hunting a little interesting. TFTC!
Had come back to this one as there was a bit of traffic going by. Third bridge for the day, think I'm now part troll TFTC.
#2695 - 17:30; I headed off to fill the geomobile with fuel and collect the geograndson, with a short detour for the daily cache (or three!). Parked the geomobile in a now familiar spot and headed off to GZ, where the now familiar long grass was in abundance. Did the troll impression and soon had cache in hand and log signed. Grabbed a new pathtag for the collection as well. TFTC Tealby ]:)]
Out for the morning finding a few caches at Jerra Wetlands before heading to Kingston markets for coffee. TFTC.
Took me being nimble but found without difficulty - left a pathtag (please log if you take it) tftc
Second of four finds on an outing today with my youngest son, who, it just happens, did the necessary finding work, while I simulated a bridge-perching, casual bird-watcher (and muggle early warning system).
Had to dodge a lot of muggles today but grabbed this cache during our walk around the wetlands. We hadn't been doing the puzzle trail, but we've grabbed the clue for when we do TNLNSL TFTC
Sneaky but awesome... Thanks to the encouragement of a fellow cyclist on my hunt gotta catch them all!!!
Ducked out for a bit of lunchtime caching - a venture that has been surprisingly unsuccessful in the past for some reason. But I'm much better prepared today & on a bike so transit times will be shorter. This was the last find of the day. There seems to be lots of bridge related caches here in the wetlands. A bit of a change for me. Tftc

Garry found this with yaussie, Rick, and myself. Looks like we might be able to paddle under this bridge now.

3rd day in Canberra, cycling the eastern and parlamentary Loop of Lake Griffiths. Nice and sunny autumn weather, collecting some caches in between. TFTC

Despite lots of muggles we found this one in a few minutes. Cache is in good condition. TFTC
676 [393] Looked on the wrong side at first, then ducked under the other side and found the cache. Tks Tealby!
It's amazing to see such a great bridge (and path) in the middle of paddocks that smell like cows**t! TFTC.
It was a tight fit and we found a GCA cache I took a hairclip and left a butterfly rubber.tftc

Out with MankyCat to do the near by multi. Thought we'd give a few in the wetlands a crack at night. Never been here before, and it was quite dark with little moon cover. This was no. 1 of 4 i traditional caches in wetlands lastnight. Tftc
Thanks Tealby for this cache. it is a while since we have headed out this way, and so we hadn't sen or been on all the new bicycle tracks. We found this on our run around the east Basin this morning. It was great to have a reason to stop!
Thanks,

It was a bit hard to get under the bridge, but i managed it. Some muggles walked over the bridge while i was under! Greate hide. Thanks!
Another great walk bridge. Creek was full from the torrential rains of yesterday. Everything sparkling clean, green & fresh looking! TFTC
Found this cache together with Smilecatcher. Thank's for the cache and showing these interesting wetlands!
