Just about to give up on this one when the call came FOUND IT from Mr Trigg-A-Nomics. Was feeling rather suspicious about parking here & scratching around on the side of the road after the fire had just started over the hill a couple of days earlier. Just made it back into the car again when the police car drove past. Close call that was
TFTC

09-Nov-09
It was pretty clear where this one was going to be. Trick is not to look too suspicious if cars drive by.
I think I managed that.

Just getting up miles for Blazing Sun...

10-Jun-07
My GPS worked fine. I think the others got a little bit distracted with the gasbagging Wink. The container was pretty much out in the open under the canopy, so it is now under a few branches but still easy to find if you're looking. TFTC.

01-Jan-07
What I had hoped would be an easy find on the way home from a week camping in Coffin Bay. I can see why this one could take some time to find! Pleased when I found it not long after I took the 'cache-disguisers' (sunglasses) off. TNLN

28-Dec-06

When you're hot you're hot. Diesel had given me a little clue in the right direction but on this perfect afternoon of geocaching it was not needed. I saw the container as i walked over the road. It had not been visible last time, but I am sure I had squashed that tuft of grass flat in my first search. Anyway, signed the log and was off to swamp rats within a few seconds. Thanks suthies for the cache, and Diesel for the hint.

05-Nov-06
the clue about the long grass helped here!

05-Nov-06
Well Mr Walker we are only new at this game but we found it.... mind you we had a party of 9 looking for it between us and the Goldrushers and so I suppose that would have helped!

03-Nov-06
Took a side trip from shopping in Lincoln. Think I found the right G.Z. but must commiserate with Diesel's first few searches. Spent nearly an hour, getting very dusty and scratched about. I am tempted to come back after the fire season with a flame thrower to sort this one out, but will try geting a clue from Diesel first.

31-Oct-06
At first I was a bit miffed because I have been too busy at school to look for this one, but reading Diesel's logs I am now just happy that it was him, and not me. Hope to get out and look for this soon, but I know who to turn to if I get stuck. Well done Diesel!

31-Oct-06
Well YeeeeHaaa I finally found this sneaky little sucker in a spot that I swear I'd already searched.

T fish hooks ( might come in useful tomorrow)
L combination lock

TFTC (and the verification that it was still there and I had the right spot)

30-Oct-06
Back in the daylight to search only to have the Power Muggles spot me and get a bit sus before I even started . Maybe 3rd time lucky will be the go.

30-Oct-06
Did I say something about 3rd time lucky?
I must be getting soft in my old age cause if this truely is a 1/1 cache then I'm way off base, the 1 for terrain I'd agree to no questions asked but my GPSr put me at a spot that had multiple possiblities and yielded nothing after 45 minutes of searching.

" An easy drive by cache " you could say that as it was easy to drive by but impossible for me to find.

29-Oct-06
Noticed this was online when I got home not long before dark so thought I'd give it a go but the failing light beat me. Will search again when the sun is high.
