3rd or 4th attempt. The coordinates are about 60 metres away from the bridge...not sure what's going on there.
We did not find it so hard we tried everything in the mud the trees we might have found the dead gumtree though we thought we found it in mud but no did you remove it any1 here’s a photo of the tree we think it’s hiding near
after poking around and lifting random logs, getting bitten by mozzies, we gave up
A little bit embarrassing but we couldn't come up with a find today after giving it a wide berth. I have no doubt the cache is there somewhere and we just didn't want our manicures ruined. Thanks anyway
GPS was bouncing around a little bit but soon had my hands on the prize.

After today’s paddle and tree climb it was nice to find a cache on the ground.
A reasonably easy find tho the cache was a little damp. Log signed and it was off to the next. Thanks for placing the cache here.

Just as I was about to give up! Around 6 meters from marked location. Log was wet but was able to sign my name
Second time looking for this.
Came from a different direction today and followed Karikas advice and poked with a stick until i heard a familar sound. Woo hoo, happy dance
Log signed and cache returned to where found in readiness for next finder.

Out for a few caches this sunny windy Saturday.
Not as far away from the coordinates as I suspected, about 6 meters, probing the ground with a stick returned a familiar sound of a geocache
Onwards towards the next find
Thank you

Out in the local district with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC and patrol14 picking up a few caches.
Ignored the hint after coming up empty handed, expanded the search area and soon had cache in hand.

Back in my old stomping grounds after an eight year absence (I was a muggle in those days) so have a lot of caching up to do in South East Queensland. Been chasing the Celebration Carnival souvenirs, and today only had to get three points to get the final souvenir.
Sunday afternoon, and not much time left, so singled out Pleasant buoy to no avail, so detoured to Thornside for Nesting point. We searched, and searched and searched some more. No cache could be fun..... The mossies were driving us mad
Will have to find another to complete the challenge.

Out with stortigirls finding a few caches. Next, we headed to this cache. I parked the geomobile and we strolled to GZ. There, the cache was located after a short search. TFTC
Found while out caching in the area with Selva Girls today. Not too many birds today but still a nice walk. Tftc!
Making the best of a non-work day - checking some older caches out on the southside of Brisbane. My next stop was here and pleased for a good quick find.
Thanks angermanagement for entertaining me at this location.

angermanagement I found your cache Nesting point on 5/9/18, 10:22 am. This is my find 2080 and find # 2 today. As previous logs said it is about 5-6 metres out. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Great hiding spot. Took us a bit and had to read the activity log for more clues but we got there in the end.
Out today to get our new year souvenir plus find an unloved, afterwards, we went to find this cache nearby.
Couldn't find many dead trees but did find this cache nicely hidden about 6m from GZ.
Was definitely "tupperware in the bush".
SL, then returned cache to its hide.

Didn't find and saw another geo family trying to find it. Might be damaged or in worng place after reading other logs saying it was damaged and off the co ords. Could probably use a visit. Thanks!
Definitely got spotted by a muggle and his doggo but good spot, Hint is a little misleading..
TFTC. Found after noticing quite a few dead gums. No nesting birds at the moment though.
TFTC... 13/3/17. Tough mothers day out (5).. Found it very much out in the open. Might be worthy of a co visit.
There has been some Landcare work. Perhaps it's been discovered and removed. Did not find.
Took a bit of finding - as per angermanagement's Pleasant Buoy, took a pic for this 2nd find yesterday ...suffering from 4gotapenitis as we weren't planning on caching. Took a pic, but stupidly of it in its position ... we did not touch the cache. Cover remains broken and contents would have to be damp.
I am quite sure we walked in from the longest possible point. But it is very nice in here. The cache lid has been broken and needs to be replaced. The log book was still dry though.
TFTC!!!!
TFTC!!!!
Coords are a little off, but i think it isn't too hard to find. Thanks for placing this cache
Found by geoboy 16m from coordinates and not near the bridge or deadgum tree - lid broken but log was remarkably dry.
Find number 998 for me I'm on target to getting my 1000th cache on my 2nd anniversary of caching whoohooTFTC
With the storm...our gps was having a party...lucky we had a clue and found the cache.
Unfortunately the container was broken and water had made its way inside.
My daughter was carrying her box of goodies and popped a few in.
Not sure who broke the lid but covered it up with a few more sticks to hide from malicious muggles!!

Found it but wasn't under a dead gum tree. CO might want to check on it otherwise all good with the cache (except crack in lid) but contents are dry Tftc
There is now a bird nesting in the tree right above the cache. It scared me when it flew off as we approached.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
There was a spider inside the cache! There is a hole in the middle of the lid of the cache and we think it crawled in through there. I found this cache with Maggs2005 and visiting geo-dog before visiting it again later that day with CachingPikachu, JaffaJ and ijohn21after they finished paddling on the Tingalpa Creek. The co-ords were a bit off but we still found it, finishing my caching day of four caches. Thanks for the cache angermanagement!!

Found with TheGeoSnake and visiting geo-dog while waiting for kayakers to return. Geo-daughter takes the top off. While she is fiddling with the lid I see suspicious little brown legs around the side of the log. "Put the cache on the ground for a sec", I say calmly. "Why?" she asks. "Just pop it down", I say at which point she promptly drops it. Out scrambles the spider friend who had been minding the contents. Log now safely signed, cache replaced, and off we go. Sometimes it pays to do what you are asked the first time! TFTC
Found with CachingPikachu and ijohn21 after a lovely day paddling in Tingalpa and Lota Creeks. My last find for 2015. TFTC
Arrived in Brisbane yesterday, camping at the caravan park at Thorneside.
We targeted just a few caches, it gave us like a tiki tour of your beautiful area.
Should have read the comments first & we would have replaced the container. Surprisingly all is dry inside.

After parking nearby, I made the short walk in.
It was very quiet here.
I did not see any nesting birds as it is not the right time of the year yet.
I did see in another area near the Redland headland a bird with sticks in its beak preparing to build a nest.
After a quick search, the cache was located.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks angermanagement All good with this cache just a little crack in the lid.

Unfortunately the cache container lid is broken & is letting water in.
A visit from the CO with a new container would be beneficial.

Smilie #2403
Set out to clear a few random coloured spots from our map & turn them into smilies.
'Close to home' needed a little clean up so off we went!
A nice quick find here in between passing muggles!
Lucky we were in camo gear! LOL ...
Found the log nice & dry in it's baggie but unfortunately the cache container has a cracked/broken lid which is allowing water in.
Drained the cache but a new container is needed.

27/2/15 a quick find though the gum tree did confuse me for a minute. Once I forgot about that, followed the coords and opened my eyes the cache jumped out at me. TFTC
Definately put off by the gum tree but followed the compass and was led right too it!! Thankyou!
Searched for quite a while here but no joy today will keep an eye on things though.TFTH angermanagement.
Found it! Lid was cracked.
Partner and toddler found it while I sat with the baby and pram, too many toads (yuk!)
Lots of fun and nice walk.

Rocking the Redlands on a bayside bash today with Slow Puncture. Weeks of meticulous planning trying to line up unfound unique combos culminated in today's little adventure. With an early start to the day we planned on finding 25 Unique D/T combos for the day thus completing the challenge of the same name. There was something peaceful about this area that I enjoyed, the walk to GZ was very pleasant. A quick find was made, and onward we forged to the next one on one list. TFTC
Slow Puncture were out today with Orange Crew, both teams were seeking the same caches to earn "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD)" - 25 different D/Ts on the same day.
Kieran had identified 25 qualifying caches (and some spares) on the Bayside, so we met early this morning in the rain. Luckily the rain ceased as soon as we met.
Find Number 7 for the day. After almost turning into someone's driveway (thinking it was a dirt road!), we parked nearby and made the short journey on foot, and soon had the cache in hand.

After a bday cake in a local park it was time for some caching with gulliverstravels54 and this on was next on our list of 10 for the morning before the heat set in. Found the cache ok, a little off on the GPS and phone but with a little look around the hide soon stood out. Good size great spot and signed tftc
cache find #1974. Out and about for forbiddenground's birthday. It was geograndsons who loved the size of the cache. Good kids size with plenty of swaps. TFTC.
DNF co-ords said I was within 30 feet searched for about 30 mins no luck will try again soon.
