Had a look while getting the letters tonight. The council has ripped out the garden completely and put new stuff in planted in a bark mulch. Baggy Greens, it looks like it is time to put it offline while the new garden grows and replace it.

26-Jun-08
The council did a lot of gardening in the area not long ago - they may have taken it....

24-Jun-08
mmm difficult, I think we will come back another day. Just wondering though with all the building going on right on top of the site is the cache still there?

21-Apr-08
No joy for us either late in the day. Checked what seemed like obvious possibilities to us. Saw signs of disturbance by others (DeltaEcho?) but drew a blank.

18-Apr-08
Well, we came here late at night especially to avoid muggles, but couldn't find the cache! Had a sit and think, poked around in the prickles but no joy. Will return to search another day.
Returned again in the daylight but still no joy.

05-Apr-08
Muggles everywhere, made it quite difficult to look for without making it obvious. Loved it though, Thanks Team BG, it was great.

24-Mar-08
Found quickly on easter monday, whilst all was quiet

19-Mar-08
Accompanied with Everlasting. Found it. Thanks for the cache

11-Mar-08
Found at 12:00 noon with help from learner geocacher HMM.
Pleasant but busy surroundings! A place no gnome wood dare to venture, at high noon. Nice place to complete paperwork and contemplate the re-placement manoeuvre.
Took Flat Frog and left Purple Lizard.

16-Feb-08
BlackwoodCC found it's first ever cache in Gnomewood. Took the purple snake. He is on his way to Melbourne on Saturday. Like Fruitcake!

09-Feb-08
Only saw one gnome across the road. Had we gnome this was here would have visited earlier as one of the team visits near this location once a week.
TFTC Baggy Greens.

28-Jan-08
TFTC no swaps

18-Jan-08

Nabbed crusader.

18-Jan-08
Second find for the night with Self Power with no cache details or hints. took dude and left snake.

18-Jan-08
Have tried a few times in the past with no luck so tried in daylight and success.

15-Jan-08
Find number 1262. Found while on a mad 24 hour dash with Mr MadMyers and Everlasting doing the driving. This cache was one of our 189 today. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find. Cheers The Nanks

15-Jan-08
How funny - MrsMadMyers has just bought the mother in law a whole family of gnomes for mother's day and for her birthday. We will have to be on the lookout for gnomes now as we drive around. Thanks for the cache.

14-Jan-08
I thought that this would be harder. Cheers

09-Jan-08
There were certainly a couple at GZ, it made recovering the cache a bit tricky. A very busy spot shopping time.
Thanks, Robmc.

09-Jan-08
Reckoned we spotted a couple of local Gnomes hanging around in fact I suspect one may have spotted me doing the recovery. He looked a tad suspicious but perhaps not as much as us.
Thanks again

04-Jan-08
Found the cache at 4.10pm. - easy found it. No swap. Thanks Team BaggyGreens for organising the cache and hunt.

30-Dec-07

TNLN SL Visited Lello Geocion, but he did not want to stay as there were no gnomes around today only Santas Smile easy today, looks like the Kiwi assult left it a little exposed, we hid it a bit better when we returned it. TFTC

Didn't see any gnomes on our big day out - we only had an eye for the cache Smile Cheers Gav [1491]

12-Dec-07
Finally getting around to logging the record breaker Red Face Thanks!

12-Dec-07
Kiwi Cache Raid: #94 @ 10:31. After all that forgot to count the gnomes Sad Were keeping a good lookout for muggles though and had to go into stealth mode that we had practiced. Many thanks Team BaggyGreens.,,,,,,,,,

10:31:00 a.m. A quick find by the NZ cache record team.
Thanks to all Adelaide cachers for placing these caches to allow us to get the record. Big Grin

12-Dec-07
10:31 a.m. This cache was found on our record-breaking attempt to find the most caches in a 24 hours period; we ended up finding 195 all up.

Thanks to all the cachers who placed these interesting caches in Adelaide.

I only wish we could have spent more time appreciating the locations that we visited on our whistle stop tour.

Thanks to all Adelaide cachers for helping with our quest.

Easily completed, despite Muggles.

Plenty of muggles but were able to stealthily retreive.

Found at 20:35. Ow.

27-Oct-07
Could not find this one, found the handy poking stick, but alas the guys at Torchwood have put the vanishing spell on it when they found out Lello Gnome wanted to land in Blackwood for a visit to his rellies. So he had to be located somewhere in dead man's land, Torchwood wins again.... will have to try again....shh... don't tell Jack when we are coming.

03-Sep-07
There can be only one true Gnomewood...And now there is only one...LOL

That's the last time I trust 4 DNFs in a row as a guide to a cache being gone, damn gnomes probably took it pesky little pests...

02-Sep-07
Damn, thats one prickly shrub! Enough said! lol

TNLN

01-Sep-07
Sat on the retaining wall with Miss Jane and munched on some lunch, while casually sticking my hand into the prickly shrubbery. Ouch! Tried poking around surrepticiously with a stick, and that was much more satisfactory Smile. Then as I was putting the cache back I found... another cache?!? I signed both logbooks, so does that mean I can log it twice?

You may want to do a bit of cache rationalisation here BaggyGreens, before they start multiplying too much. We don't want the area overrun by cachelings!

TNLNSL - Thanks Team BaggyGreens!

TNLNSL again - Thanks again Team BaggyGreens!

22-Jun-07
Looks like we found the 'old' container too, as there was only one geocoin, and not the 3 mtbikeroz left. Gave the coin to onewiseowl, who was most helpful in claiming this one for me, even though he was here months ago. Also took an unidentifiable McDonalds toy (at least I say it is a toy, I think it looks more like a shower cap). Left some odds and ends. TFTC

21-Jun-07
Just dropped in to grab some TBs from mtbikeroz.

21-Jun-07
FINALLY, after 3 attempts, and a helpful hint from Alex, I found it in the dark of the night. I was previously mere centimetres from it.
Dropped off a few TB's.

02-Jun-07
Relativly quiet this afternoon as I arrived from the ACT. I did not see a coin, but as the log I used had pre 2007 logs in it, I think there must be two containers now. Thanks.

As I drove past I saw people near the cache and thought "I hope they don't find the cache".....then I saw the GPS in hand and the thought changed to " I hope they do find the cache". Cheers Pink Hunters, you were very close.

25-Apr-07
Wouldn't of had a look for this if I knew there were a couple of DNF's before me. Had a nice lunch near GZ so while in the area decided to have a look. Left TB coin which I have had for far to long (sorry), took nothing.

Like "pack of sullies" we had had a nice lunch nearby before trying this one, however despite encouragement from whom we assume was a geocacher beeping and waving at us, all we came away with was prickles in our hands We will return.

A day for the geologists today.
Sat lock bad.
Muggle central.
After some time I had to leave empty flippered.

22-Apr-07
No luck today but the GPSr really wasn't helping. A few pokes and a few pricks but no cache Sad.

17-Apr-07
Certainly this cache more than any others made my Tom Tom light up! It played my custom geocache sound (which it does when there is a cache within 250m) very many times! (I wonder why)! TNLN Thanks Team BaggtGreens

17-Apr-07
Looked for this the first time round with no luck.
Much better tonight and quicky had the log in hand.

26-Mar-07
An easy find tonight
TNLN
Thanks TBG
PS the pencil broke and we didn't have a pencil sharpener

26-Mar-07
Barra left a new pencil in it, an easy find at night.

Cheers from Barra

18-Mar-07

thanx

Found by Team GeoCoopers
About the third visit but this time in the early morning. Still heaps of traffic from all directions but in the brief breaks kept searching and it finaly paid off.
Thanks Team BaggyGreens

18-Mar-07
Quick nightime find at 0300 hours. Been here before but too many muggles. Thanks.

18-Mar-07
First of finds for a bit of night time caching, eventually free to go caching at 7pm on Sunday evening. After been repeatedly spiked I was thinking of more "Down amongst the Dead Gnomes","Blow up the outside Gnomes" and "Gnome coming down" but in the end I decided on "Every Gnome is exactly the Same" by Nine Inch Nails. Took nothing, left blood.

28-Feb-07
Another find for The Rebel Alliance. L.L.T.R.A

28-Feb-07
Fifteenth of 128 finds on "The Big Adelaide Assault" in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. We had the place to ourselves (strangely enough! Wink), so we were able to search, undisturbed. We only copped a few prickles from the vegetation. While we were filling in the log some maniac in a 4x4 ute came barrelling into the street, did a screeching u-turn, and parked down the street. He did something or other, and then left the scene in another blaze of speed and screeching tyres. Flamin' moron! Twisted[:(!] We found this one at 0203. I made no exchange. Thanks to Team BaggyGreens for the cache. Cheers, dak.

28-Feb-07
Fifteenth of one hundred and twenty-eight cache finds on the "The Big Adelaide Assault" the cache was found at 02:03 in company with dak's Emu Mob and HawMorFords. I never did see any gnomes due to the fact that we heard squealing tyres and the saw a maniac driving down the street nearly sideways, he parked in front of the post office hitting something in the process and then drove off again tyres screaming. All I can say about the cache is ouch!

Thanks Team Baggy Greens for the cache.

28-Feb-07
02:03 - Find #15 of 128 on our Big Day's Caching in the company of dak's Emu Mob and acts2youthgroup.

Ouch - another prickly one! Thankfully, this was a quick find.

While at GZ, all three of us were treated to the most amazing and reckless display of driving that you can imagine. I'm not sure what the culprit was on but it was quite a sight!

Thanks to Team BaggyGreens for the cache.

24-Feb-07
Driving past and would you believe there were two familiar people sitting there? Not gnomes, but Maccamob! Thanks Maccas (for saving me the search), and Thanks TBG.

24-Feb-07
Found by Mary & David at 1630. Kept muttering 'Happy Gnome Day To You'. They've gone to cooler climes it seems, as they weren't in evidence today. Took Adelaide key ring, left bottle opener key ring. We were just about to replace the cache when who should appear but Shonkylogic and the baby, so Mary was able to have another cuddle. Again our thanks to Team BaggyGreens.

16-Feb-07
Nice cache found with reginanja and Owlparents, got prickled but were still able to spot a few gnomes here and there. They really are little scamps, aren't they?

16-Feb-07
Going home on a warm night. Easy find just had to be careful of the muggles milling about. TFTC

02-Feb-07
Out this way with Team TDB getting some takeaway. After a little lurking we soon found the cache. Not very busy tonight, may be the heat. TNLNSL. Still a few gnomes to be seen.

28-Jan-07
Having met a starry fellow at an earlier cache I had a bit of a hint here however I don't think I would have needed it. I've driven through this intersection hundreds of times, it is only when I stand beside do I realise what a busy junction it is. Not a lot of pedestrians so doing the cache business was easy. Thanks TBG

26-Jan-07
7:30am on a public holiday is apparently a bad time to attempt this. Couldn't even get close, with three louts drunkenly enjoying the middle of the roundabout, and yelling at anyone that came near them. At 7:30AM!!!!

25-Jan-07
I think this has to be gnome central. With all those posties that travel around, it has to be them! TNLNSL Thanks

17-Jan-07
Plenty on Gnomes spotted on our walk from Belair.

Thanks

JSKNICHOLSON

14-Jan-07
Cache is back in place...Big Grin

05-Jan-07
Closed for renovations...

05-Dec-06
no gnomes today... maybe they've gone to watch the cricket?

05-Dec-06
Zip zero nothing.

26-Nov-06
Couldn't find it without drawing too much attention for those "roundabout". Maybe we'll try again when fewer people are passing through.

13-Nov-06
Not too hard, but harder than at first thought. A high muggle area so caution is needed. Thanks

12-Nov-06
It's even busy here early on a Sunday morning. Gnomes seem to be almost gnome-more. Could only find 1 - he must have been asleep when the others departed. A quick find while dodging people stopping to post letters, jogging, driving, walking etc. Left Rooster and a klem bear and TN. Thanks Team BaggyGreens.

12-Nov-06

Didn’t see any gnomes. Saw plenty of tiny bits of wood though, However, I still needed a special hint from the Stanleys. …Then got pricked by something small! Sad Ouch.
Clear skies, TeamAstro.

12-Nov-06
We used to have a gnome. Blacky he was called. Very good at taking your ankles out late at night.

10-Nov-06
Found ok while out walking the geolabs. Great night for a walk and caching. More gnomes around than muggle so was able to hunt in peace. Too late for the TB...TNLNSL.
Thanks BaggiesBig Grin

10-Nov-06
But 0630 on way to work i thought would be better! Still pretty busy, mainly with muggles vehicles, and the jogging/walking kind! Still managed to grab in a lull, and replace. TNLNSL
Grabbed the Kookaburra TB also.
Cheers

06-Nov-06
0915 is NOT the best time t be looking! .....

05-Nov-06
Found 13:15ish. Another weekend on-call and another call-in to work. As I drive by here twice everyday to and from work, I just couldn't resist today the chance for a quick cache. As there was gnome one watching me, a quick search was needed. Took: TB's, Left: Bigger TB, SL. Would hate to attempt this one on a normal working day. TFTC.

04-Nov-06
Surprisingly given the location, no problems this morning with the muggle factor. Could be a nightmare at certain times of the day. Took Yellow Jeep TB. Cheers!

03-Nov-06
Was passing here this morning on my way further south so stopped for a look. Spent quite a while just wandering around GZ waiting for opportunities to search without looking dodgey then noticed another person approaching following a handheld arrow Wink Turned out to be gr8cherokee & thanks to his fluorescent shirt of invisibility it then became a quick search Big Grin
2 coins out, 2TB's in
And all under the scrutiny of several of them little people.
Cheers

03-Nov-06
Turned up following the arrow and someone said the GPS was a give away, I told him that it was not a GPS it was a gas leak detector but Four-Fun knew better, with the gas detector away we got on with the job. Boy was it busy up there this morning. The cache was in hand within a few minutes.

T: Geocoin
L Jeep TB

Thanks TBK

02-Nov-06
We just drove past this spot less than half an hour ago as we returned home from a FTF on Panther Park and now can claim a FTF here. Not a bad night's work considering we didn't have any plans to go caching.
We want to know how they got that gnome on top of the bank without any alarms going off?!? All those eyes staring down at me, man!
Took feng shui geocoin, left Wibbles evil micro geocoin. Thanks Team BaggyGreens

02-Nov-06
Be they ever so humble, there's no race like gnomes.
