Gosh was all over the place so we wandered around for a bit but soon found it TFTC
Both Willis007 and I had solved the 7 series of caches, so we decided it was time to find them. I had never been to this park before so there were lots of trads for me to find too. Coordinates were spot on so found easily. Tftc
This geo cash was very interesting to find and I love bbc in my ass every single night five stare

Wednesday Madness. The last one of term. And I’m flying solo today. So I choose to head over to the Southside for a few more older caches.
After being saddened by my inability to get the other oldie here due to recent back-burning, I headed to this one and was pleased to find it quickly. The logbook was slightly damp and is of course beginning to fill up, but is still usable and has a few pages to go before a replacement is needed.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

Today, following a morning Kelvin Grove parkrun, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I went out for shopping and errands, and then headed to Belmont Hills Reserve on the south side for a walk around the area. The Q100 oldie [Belmont Bushland](https://coord.info/GCGHDB) had brought us to the area, but a couple of hours spent walking around, spotting wallabies and kangaroos, made it an enjoyable afternoon wander.
We were walking around the reserve in a clockwise direction, thus passed by this cache after the steep upwards slope along the powerline's route. So this geocache became a strategic rest stop, making a reasonably quick find of the cache. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was slightly damp with some black mould scattered throughout. Quite fittingly, we ended up walking the Vickermans Track on the way back to the car. An interesting history / sign of the farmland history in this area (which was back at the reserve entrance). Thanks Crew 153 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 12/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Out and about with BJA3 on a very wet morning. Cache was quickly located at the GZ with no issues apart from being a bit damp. Log is okay and still easily signable.

Out picking up smiley's on a wet morning's walk. Grabbed 10 in total today with no DNF's. Tftc and bringing us to this great spot.
Great trek up the hill and views to the bay. Again Miss 6 was the first to find. Lots of neat swag to trade and mainly dry. TFTC
Last cache of the morning, it’s way too hot for this cache today but can’t leave one on the map. Glad we took the water. Thanks for the cache and the view
The geoterrier appreciated the workout. Lots of trinkets waiting to be discovered.
Thanks Crew 153, a great walk in suburban bushland.

Sadly, like most lookouts, the tree pruning crew never manage to keep up with re-growth, b ut I did get a view of the Gateway from here. I get a much better view when driving on it!
Another easy find, and visited the Roman Colosseum along the way to signing the log. TFTC, Crew 153.

Out for a bonus swing around the Southside hills, with oz_bean_counter collecting smilies all day. This one was on our target list due to it's age, and it was fairly close to our planned location today. A lovely piece of bushland indeed, with a nice heart-starter hill to get us underway.
Thanks Crew 153 for entertaining me at this location.

One of the 26 caches / labs for the day, out on an epic caching adventure with Pprime to celebrate his 1000th puzzle cache.
This one was on my radar because it was nearby to a target lab cache for the day - the hills of the southside series. At GZ, we made a very rapid find and had the cache in hand within a few seconds. Ahh the sweet smell of success Log signing duties completed, we returned the cache as found. Lovely GZ, well worthy of a visit. We continued up the hill - this would be a theme for the day.
TFTC and TB visit x2

After finding a nearby oldie for the Oldest and Finest challenge, I decided to continue through the Belmont Bushland to find some of the other caches. Being a visitor here as I don't often get an opportunity to venture across the river, I thought I would make the most of it today.
A quick find today, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks Crew 153 for the cache, I have enjoyed my afternoon exploring the bushland.

Found! Didn’t write in log book due to the epidemic. Thanks for the find!
This is my first week of 4 weeks holidays and I decided to take my mountain bike for a ride around here. This was my fourth of 11 found around here today. I really enjoyed the view from here . Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy .
Enjoying the day out walking with E_Smiley and picking up a few caches whilst in this local area.
Good spot for cache, nice hide.

My second for the day, and wasn't that a fun hike. Saw no one on my way up or down which I suppose is a good thing...? Found the hide relatively easily and signed the log before heading off for some more finds. TFTC

Friday. I was on a trip to Mt Tamborine to visit family, so decided to take the opportunity to stop by on the way and pick up a few caches. The area this cache was in looked fantastic and offered a nice walk to stretch the legs. This was my second real reason for popping by into this bit of bushland. So nice to have a lot of older caches to choose from though on my way south, as I’ve run out of ones further north. Having two in the one area is a bonus too. I came to GZ and Wow! What a view!! I decided to put my phone down and stroll over to what I thought was GZ. I also admired the view and the amazing breeze that was up here. No breeze at all away from this bit of hillside, but plenty here. In fact, my umbrella turned itself inside out. Well, it wasn’t GZ I was at unfortunately, although it really did look like a spot to put a cache. So I started to wander around. My arrow wouldn’t settle, so I just tried to look at a few spots.
My phone was really playing up, so put it away and just looked. Took a few minutes to find the cache this way, but soon spotted a kind of good looking spot and uncovered my prize! There are a few likely spots here, so it was just a case of perseverance really. Took in some more of the view and some pics taken. Fixed my brolly and then headed back to the track – and then back to where I parked the car. Read a few of the signs that Council had left along the paths too. Shame to see so much bushland has disappeared, but hopefully more will be kept in the future.
This was the 5th of 9 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Crew 153***, for showing us this place.

I waited for a bright sunny day to go looking for this one as I was looking forward to taking photos of the view, which I've read is quite good from up here.
It was a pleasant walk up the wide path and it was great to be surrounded by the bush yet by the sound of the traffic going past I knew was close to civilization.
After rounding the structure i made my way to GZ and before long cache was in hand. Log signed and cache returned to where found.
I then made my way over to where I could see the view. Wow! I can see the traffic ive been hearing on the walk up here right into Brisbane city in the distance.
Thanks for this cache Crew153
Favourite point awarded for the view and the overall pleasure I experienced on this little walk up the hill.

Made the trek up to this one. Great view from the top of the hill. Thanks for bringing us to this great place and for the cache.
Best view on the trail so far.
Cache was struck by my poking stick and was quickly signed so I could go and stand on the pile of viewing rocks.

There is a cracking view at this delightful spot! Thanks for bringing me here. I’ve had a lovely adventure on my morning off. I spotted 3 wallabies. TFTC #534

Dropped off a TB for the next finders.

For a long time I've been putting off the caches in the Belmont Bushland. Partly because I was put off by some of the steep terrain for the couple I have recovered. Partly because I'm not a huge bush walking fan. And partly because of the time it would take me to haul my huge backside up and down the hillside.
But the allure of so many so close rubbed off and today I made my best efforts. After seeing a pale horse, a dark horse and a jockey, this was the next closest and pleasingly along the paths. Not so pleasing was the hill I went up to get here, but it was over soon enough.
Close to GZ I was treated to some glimpses of the bay near the water infrasturucture.
Cache was easy enough to find, in good nick, full of swag and there were a couple of TBs. I took TBs as I'm heading overseas soon, so might was well. Hopefully Paris fits their objectives...

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive *248 days. TFTC Crew 153 #1628
When I’m out caching by myself, I always seem to take a lot of selfies. I will admit that I get pretty pumped looking at images of my glorious mug, but trying to get something in the background is near impossible.
I think my phone has one of those glamorous filters that blurs out things that aren’t sexy. All the panaramas I take look fine but as soon as I stand in the picture everything pales in the background. People just don’t know how hard it is being beautiful.
So then when I take a selfie that doesn’t work out, I end up taking 100’s of them. Sure, I look good in every one but the background scenery keeps letting me down. It would probably just be easier to take a photo of myself in front of my own reflection.
Oh man, I hope this dream I’m having where I’m beautiful never ends. I also found your cache (or did I dream that as well?). tftc

WillPuney, Scoob and I had a couple of hours free in Brisbane and fortunately we chose this park because the boys and I had a great time finding these 11 caches, all decent sized hides with plenty of room for swaps. The only muggles we saw were a bike rider and a few wallabies. Thanks Stablehand and Crew 153 for the series.
It was at this point that we found out where all of those rifle cracks were coming from. good view from up here

Heading from The Jockey to this one is more uphill, and when you get to the top (near GZ) you are able to see a nice outlook of the city and the freeway. In fact, the second muggle for the day was taking photos as I got there. I was not sure if that was the cover for a cacher, but she was a muggle in the end. Okay, I pretended to do likewise and looked at the views until she left, then walked the 10 metres or so to where the cache was hiding.
Also in very good condition. 7.57am and 6 out of 8 done for the morning.
Signed and returned to the hiding spot.
Okay, then made the call that the last two caches I wanted would be easier to approach from the northern end, rather than walk downhill from here - much too steep for my liking.

This one the kids loved. Lots of room for swappables and in really good condition. TFTF!
Amazing view, but probably took the wrong direction too approach this. I suppose the shortest route isn't always the quickest.
After finding the last one, we got ourselves back on to the small Trail and began to head gently uphill again. In the distance we could hear what sounded like artillery being fired. Is there a firing range nearby? Hopefully we are not on their territory!
We found what we were looking for very quickly, where we noted that all is dry and safe with in the container. We signed the log and then it was back to checking the maps again to choose our next search.
Thanks Crew153

Lovely walk and great place to stop for a break. Pity about the traffic noise. Glad it’s nearly winter and not the middle of summer!! TFTG Crew 153
Logged indeed
Four days of geocaching all over Brisbane, mostly because I looked for nice natural places. Thanks to a tip in the Facebook group I visited Belmont Hills Reserve and found all the caches in there. Nice walk though not that special, just a forest, but I saw some wallabies and of course the caches are all very nice!
Thank you for the cache!

I was on the opposite side of the world already and could not resist a short hop from New Zealand to Australia. In a week I visited Coolangatta and surroundings, Byron Bay, some other parts of Gold Coast, but most of the time was spent in Brisbane.

Made it to the viewpoint at GZ and on such a glorious autumn morning I felt sorry for everyone caught in the snaking peak-hour traffic on the nearby motorway. Well, briefly. Then I had a cache to find. It's a nice big one, folks, so bring some swag if you've got it. Thanks to Crew 153 for the cache.
TFTC out today to get a series in the reserve and got this after a long climb. Great view.
Taking a short break away from the race track, took a short detour to see the view from Vickerman. Not sure why there is a temporary fence placed in the area.
Managed to find the cache quickly after initially getting distracted by the view and walking past the entry. Thanks for placing this cache Crew 153.
