It looks like work is about to commence on the bridge- hopefully it wont be long now before this cache can be accessed
This cache is still not accessible by road. A contractor has been appointed by the local shire to rebuild the fallen bridge but as yet no work has commenced. Hopefully they will get this underway soon, because apart from my cache, I really want to be able to access this beautiful lakeside park when summer hits.
The bridge is still out. The Shire recently announced that tenders were open for replacement of the bridge so its going to be a while yet.
Disabling this cache for possibly quite a while until bridge works are completed. However you may still be able to find this cache by swimming or kayaking around to Apex Park.
Whilst the cache is still there, the road access is not. Unless you care to swim across the creek or put your kayak in and paddle around to the picnic area this one will be unobtainable. Imagine the terrain rating is much higher in the interim.
Found at 10:32 AM GAFF1.
Yeah we made it to Gannawarra - the only LGA that we hadn't found a cache in Vic thanks to the advice of the CO
A lovely little camp area here and as the weather finally brightened up the lake looked fantastic! The cache find was a bit of work as that weird aromatic bush had grown all over the cache hide since it was placed 16 years ago!
Thanks to Team Megradel
Feedback: Looking at the hint now as I am writing this log - what? I think things have changed over the years and there is no such items nearby.where the cache is placed - it is just amongst a sea of this weird aromatic plant - D2.5!! T2.0!!!.

The road into this cache is now clear but in poor condition. Drive with care.
The cache has survived the floodwater, however the area is quite overgrown, the hint may be helpful.

Travelling with friends and what a lovely place to break and stretch our legs. Interesting flora TFTC
Interesting flora to be found nearby, quick easy cache which was just what we needed. Tftc
What a brilliant park, this is definitely our next camp site when we revisit. Thank you for showing us this place. Got bit put off by the hint but trusted gps and all worked out fine. Tftc
The long weekend is upon us and after organising to pick something up from Strathmerton in the morning, I checked the map before hand and here is a place that I have not visited before.
I guy I work with stayed here in January and recommend that it was worth a visit.
So after detouring via Conargo to see if the pub has finished being rebuilt (not open yet) I arrived at my destination.
After touring around Moulamein yesterday and spending a great night in my cabin at the pub that overlooked the Edwards River it was on to my next destination.
I was taking the less travelled roads which usually meant dirt roads but that was fine by me.
Made it to my planed destination Lake Boga and after visiting the museum it was time to head back south due to the place being booked out and of course going by the less travelled back roads.
Back on the black top now and still heading south and finding caches as I go.
Plenty of lakes to visit up this way and all with plenty of water in them and Reedy Lake was another one that I visited.
A nice free camp close by and there were quiet a few campers and caravaners enjoying the area.
They were far enough away from me to let me look for this one.
Thanks The Morris and Team Megradel TFTC.

This was a case of the early bird getting the worm, as lots of muggle caravans around but no-one else up and about yet.

#4676 Amazing how there is a mozzie invasion in nearby Kerang but out at Reedy Lake there were none observed during our short stay today. First we waited for the cleaner to finish at the nearby amenities and then a grey nomad muggle who we ended up chatting to for 15 minutes about good campsites. Then we got to the cache! All good here TFTC The Morris. Looks like a nice spot for an overnight or a couple of nights stay in the camper.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
Things were quite buisy here but i managed to park in the right place and make the grab unseen.

Quick find by Geoson. Had a quick look at the lake. A few people about on this lovely winter’s day. TFTC
With our next destination being Echuca for 2 nights we targeted some older caches, multis and just whatever other trads we passed along our way.
Our third 'oldie' for the day had us going for awhile until we checked out some previous photos. We got there in the end and then enjoyed a picnic lunch overlooking the picturesque lake.
Thanks Team Megradel for maintaining this one.
PS: Hint does not relate to the hide

I found it but my GPS or GZ was off. The hint doesn't "help" from where I found it. So not sure if it has been moved. It's an easy find either way. I left it where it was in case it was just my GPS playing up. Tftc.

Day #10 of the adventure although it’s day 1 of adventures on my own as the others had to go home. Aim of the day is to explore Kerang and some of its surrounding lakes.
GPS was a little jumpy at first but soon had the cache in hand
Thanks Team Megradel for placing the hide!

It was so much fun finding this geocaching. I'm looking forward to continuing searching for them
Camped nearby we couldn't resist looking in on this hide of yours again after being ftf some 13+ years ago.
Pleased to report container and contents are in good nick.
Cheers from,

Heading off further along the road today and the caching goes on with ilook4geo. This cache was found at a lovely picnic and camping area with green grass and good facilities. The log was duly signed and all was replaced as it had been found. Thanks for this cache placement go to The Morris.
It was a fun time doing some caching with goingplaces2. This was a really good cache to find in a very pretty location. Both names were added to the list before we moved on. TFTC.
From Koondrook to Walpurp. It was a nice journey with some Geocaches along the way. This was one of the Geocache we found today. Many thanks to the owner for the hide !
Spot on GPS coords lead us straight to the hide. This was always a favoured swimming and picnic spot when we were gro6up. Nice to return...TFTC and bringing us back.
Miserable weather today so smilies insted of harvesting. Enjoyed coming in here from the main road.

As we headed from Swan Hill to Bendigo today, we stopped along the way to look for some caches. This was one of them.
Being an older cache, we could not pass by without turning off the highway to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Morris for the cache.

A wonderful surprise as we drove to this Apex Park from Tooleybuc this morning.
On such a warm day with a beautiful breeze blowing by the lakeside, surrounded by green lawns.
Had lunch on the lawns and then meandered over to the lakefront, wandering around, out of the campers eyes as they were all set up and playing cards.
Found the cache, all tucked away, signed the log and replaced as found.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful spot.

One of the things I enjoy about long car trips is the opportunity to find a few geocaches along the way. On this particular occasion I was destined for Tooleybuc.
After a short detour off the highway I clopped over the bridge and parked close to the cache. There are still a few people camping here after the long weekend but they were a sufficient distance from the cache to avoid suspicion. After a short hunt I spotted the cache and had the log book signed. TFTC!

Last two caches for the day here and at the Ibis Rookery. The satellites love playing games out this way, both searches initially off in the wrong direction and wrong meterage. This one ended up about 5m off but when i looked past my GZ the hide became clear. Great spot for camping or a picnic and there were some families out here enjoying the grounds. Thx The Morris for placing a cache here for us to find.
Wowza never knew this spot was here! What a beauty of a spot! Now we must go find some food to feed the kids before they start to eat the car seats! TFTC
Found with galandboyz after completing a 20km walk on the back roads along the Loddon River today

Found with boo09 & neisha07 on our way to Tresco for a Good Friday dinner with extended family.
What an awesome spot! Well maintained and clean. We stopped for a snack and visit to the toilet and the kids enjoyed a quick feet dip. We drive this route a couple of times per year so will be sure to stop in again another day.
This one was a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

New container in place - unfortunately I couldn't find the old one but I am surprised anyone would have found it by accident, sadly the TB seems to have gone with it.
On our two week Caravanning Trip Over to Mexico and back. Day 9 and we are moving on to Swan Hill. We stopped here forlunch and to grab this cache...Sadly the previous DNF's were correct, had a thorough look around, but pretty sure the cache is AWOL. Hopefully the CO will provide some TLC very soon.
On our way back from Swan Hill, stopped here to drop off a TB and admire the view. Certainly would love to come back here to camp and swim, one day soon.

Quick easy find and lovely views of the lake as we travel through quickly a few stops on way to stretch the legs TFTC
Not sure how I missed logging this one as older caches and challenges are my favourite and worthy of a favourite point. Looking at heading up this way only to be told "we've found those, they are probably more that you haven't logged". As it turns out, that is exactly what has happened. I was caching with Papi4506 who has thankfully mentioned me in his log so I know I was present at this find and on this day. Thank you for the cache and huge apologies for not doing it earlier.
A rather suspicious young lady hanging around here. Not sure what she was up to. Tried to not make our activity attract her attention. Quick find. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Off on a weekend road trip to Swan Hill, going the long way on my 1400km adventure to pick up a few new LGA's along the way as well as a few caches of interest.
The time has come to head for home but there were still caches to find along the way.
This time I arrived at this one and found it before kmps arrived so I returned the favour.

On our way back from the meet in Swan Hill. Quick and easy. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot
How many months to the Alexandra Mega[?]
No idea, so I figured that i had better attend the event in Swan Hill to find out
Really though Cybergran V would have thottled me [xx(] if I hadn't have brought her up for this event so I had no choice but to attend
A pretty quiet weekend numbers wise however one that was filled with the usual laughter, craziness and fellowship of a caching event
I was extremely glad to be caching in numbers this weekend though [^], having spent many hours looking for caches in this area before!
Sadly, too often I heard the lament that 'this isn't fun! ' as a result of coords being off, no hint and the dreaded 'micro in the bush' style hides and the worst part is that instead of geocachers looking forward to coming back to Swan Hill, many will now avoid it
Not the best geocaching reputation for a town to have, especially considering the amount of money and traffic that a good geocache hide can bring to towns like this.
4 DNFs was much better than I had expected although that was only due to the numbers of geocachers present and the numerous PAF calls shared by many many teams [^]
37 finds for 2 days was pretty cool considering!
As this was so close to the road, I wanted to stop and find it however Cybergran V suggested we needed to get to the hotel and check in.
How hard can it be, I said since it's only 1D and 1.5T! Famous last words!
Yep, it did take a little while to find the cache in the gathering darkness and then........
The cache container was very broken and so another was sourced from Harry and replaced back at GZ.
That ought to last for a little while, I hope So much for the quick cache find!
At least it was my last cache for the day

On my way to the '6 Months to the event in Alexandra - Swan Hill' event! After bypassing Bendigo, I detoured through Terrick Terrick, then onto Pyramid Hill for the earthcache. Snap Happy chased an old Steam Train and I chased Snap Happy. We ended up miiiles away from caches and after heading back to the main road we ended up in Kerang. Caught up with sully for some lunch, now on our way to Swan Hill. Thanks for the cache, The Morris.

A pretty spot and starting to warm as the sun came out when we arrived we decide to grab the cache and have lunch here, but after finding the cache and signing the log the breeze had picked up and the sun disappeared making it a little too uncomfortable to hang around, so we headed off to the other side of the lake.
