Logs
Noticed this archived cache not far from us this afternoon. Went down and scouted the area to find the cache was still in place, months after being archived! We have taken the remains of the cache and are currently trying to get in contact with the cache owner to hopefully reopen this or a new cache in the same place.
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

No activity by the cache owner in spite of two requests for maintenance and DNF's over the last year.
DNF Agree with previous logs, found GZ but no cache. moved every rock that could be moved and a couple that shouldn't of, looking at pictures the grass is more maintained and seems to be less rocks around. Thanks for showing me the scared creature looks a little stoned
Agree with previous logger, the cache is most probably muggled. We looked everywhere but could not find the container.
This is one of 3 we failed to find but believe it has been muggled. I appears workers have been killing weeds around GZ and may have moved it.
We then went to the museum to check out the significants of the sacred site but all were a bit vague and will get back to me.

Found this the other day as we stayed overnight in Scone. Couldn't believe my luck as I hopped out of the car, did a quick search and I was 1M from Waypoint 1. Found our way to the least advertised area of interest I have ever seen (I even drove past it two times before finding it). Found the cache but no room to log find so see pic for evidence.
As we were traveling north up the New England Highway today researching this cache, the anticipation got too much, we weren't going to make it to Scone. This is because we realized the alternate coordinates where just in front of us and we couldn't wait. We made a nice relaxing stop and gathered the required information.
Now we were on our way to Scone and towards the prize, once again the anticipation grew as we tried to guess what scared entity awaited our arrival and which of us would be the most afraid. We arrived at the GZ and approached the cage cautiously, we were relieved at the fact that we were both delighted to see each other. The search for the cache was short and sweet, the container and log could use some TLC from the CO though. This cache was fun to do and a intriguing multi. TFTC.

Great find, have struggled with multi caches needing maths co-ord. Thrilled to figure this one out!
Great hide, and a nice little piece of history to go with it. Cache itself probably needs a little updating. TFTC!
Found WP1 and worked out where we were going. We nearly drove right past it as we were thinking it would be sign posted. What a beautiful piece of geological goodness that excited the geologist wife no end. Thank you for bringing us here! TFTC.
Reperio at 1350. Stopped by WP1 on the way through to Moree for the weekend, and it only took a moment before we realised where we headed. Off we went, and almost drove past it...Thought it would have been sign posted! After admiring the specimen, we soon located the cache.
Fantastic little multi. Not often you find one without the use of numbers.

Nice easy find. Clever clues! We think cache was moved and left exposed. We hid it again closer to the 'scared thing'. Contents are slightly water damaged - possibly needs a new container.
A very clever cache. Congratulations! Cache was found exposed so we hid it again in the same area for future visitors.
340 - This is one of those oddities that you would never come across if not for geocaching....! Nice to see a multi that does not involves any maths!!! Good work guys - very enjoyable! Contents of container slightly damp but considering the amount of rain we have had in the last few days there is no need for concern! TFTC
The cache is still safe and intact and right where the puzzle led me.
That tik tac container has certainly held up well.
I have read this cache description before and it has never made sence until I actually gave it a go. It took me on a 4k detour but was certainly worth it , and it all came together in the end.
Thanks for maintaining another great cache subbydazz!

While visiting family in the area, geo-grandson found cache after geo-son (local) de-cripted clues. Geo-daughter and I would have still been searching!! Great cache. Thx for leading us on this interesting challenge.
After reading the description I was pretty sure how to read the first WP. On arrival my thoughts were confirmed and it was off to GZ to sign the log. Thanks for taking me out to this spot Subydazz.
Despite having lived in the nearby area for a number of years, Scott wasn't aware that this fine specimen even existed! After checking out the map, we quickly worked out where to go to find the cache. The biggest problem we had was the setting sun which was directly in our eyes on the drive out there - at times we could hardly see the road!! Once we were at GZ it didn't take long to locate the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Found nice and easy whilst waiting for the kids rugby to kick-off.
Is truly scary!!

Found after a short excursion from town. Geo-daughter stumbled on a rock and out came the cache! There's a whopping great hole in the cage but I dont think that the occupant is in any hurry to escape. Thanks Subydazz.
#8 Cryptic clue is good. Poor old thing is a bit scared after it and the cage suffered an attack quiet a few years back by persons unknown. SL TFTC

this one made very little sense until we pulled up to listed co-ords and it all fell into place. we then headed to the place we thought only to come a cross a very dead and stinky pig we made a hasty retreat only to stumble on the gz on our way back to town. tftc
We found this on our second visit. It was 10.30am and enjoyed the clues to the cache
The thing in the cage wasn't scared it was pe.....
Cache found in good condition, interesting peice of history.

1620 Tried one of the alternate spots to get the Waypoint info, but don't think it is there anymore after the council has done some roadside refurbishment. It was BUCKETTING down when we came back home on Saturday night in hurry, so didn't get a chance to check out the roadside at Aberdeen. (If up that way Mix, or anyone else, it would be worth the check! We were wondering if the graffitti on the trees had anything to do with)
Another find before the Pathfinder group!
After seeing fossilised fence posts, a coil of fencing wire petrified, and an orange turned to stone (let alone a fossilised seahorse) I'm very wary of setting dates like they have.
TNLN But brought through coins on their way to a CITO event at Taree: Baa, Oink, CooCoo, Unakit, & B2B ingot; and Mushoo & Beam me up Scotty TB's.

All the kids piled out, and it was a quick find. Cache is in good condition. Thanks!

Looked at the other co-ords in Aberdeen but could not find them me and Grahame went to the sign and drove off with the rest of the crew and foun Happy Aniversary and then found this cache. I thin the prehistoric thingy is not 200 million years old.
Found on a pathfinders caving and camping weekend. Went caving at Timor caves and found a few caches on the way. Found the first waypoint easily. No muggles. Found the cache at GZ easily as well. No muggles there either. Cool cache container. While I was waiting for the other people to sign the log I started climbing the fence when I was shocked to find it was a electric fence. It chucked me about 2 metres. We then created a chain of people for fun and was touching the fence with a leaf.
TNLNSL.
TFTC. It was a fun cache even though I was electricuted.

Away with Kotara Flying Bowlers for the weekend, this was a fun excursion for the guys first caching experience, several will be signing up soon for sure (especially The Boolaroo Bandit). They loved the cryptic clues etc. TFTC!!!!
Barcoo, Ben, Haylee and Michael found this one. I have driven passed this many times and never seen it yet.

Great hide once I got over feeling stupid finding the clue it was fun. LNTN SL TFTH
A nice easy find. The thing in the cage is still very scared! An amazing peice of earths history that we would never otherwise have seen. The outer bag of the cache was quite soggy but the inner contents dry despite 2 weeks of rain.

Used the alternate Waypoint at Aberdeen to solve the clue.
Then off we headed to pick up the cache.
Located the right spot in accordance with our new found grid reference and quickly located the cache.
As previously reported by previous cachers the log is now quite damp.
Thanks SUBYDAZZ

Initially drove right past it. Then saw it on the way back. Log was a little damp but still signable. Thanks for showing me this. Signed log. TFTC DAZZ:)
Interesting bit of history but so many snails guarding the cache - we counted 19 in all so the container is very very slimey! We wanted to do a lot more of subydazz's caches on this trip but there are so many that we think we might have to do a weekend away around this neck of the woods (he he) soon. Cheers!
Yay, I finally found it. Have visited the site a few times only to find the cache missing, or not having a pen on me at the time to sign the log.
WP1 had us a little concerned as the clue seemed to indicate something else to us but we got it in the end. GZ is an awesome site that is well worth the effort.

Loved this one - one place I would never normally get to visit but a very pleasant surprise. Even better, everyone in our group played a part in this which made it much more fun.
after stopping for lunch we proceded to the first WP this was the second last cache after a good week end getting together with some other cachers andafter going past the first time and coming back to the GZ spent a bit of time looking at the location.
Found as part of the itinerary for the Upper Hunter Camping ‘n’ Caching Weekend.
A nice little multi with an interesting find at the end.

I like caches where there is a real chance of not finding it, naturally I like it more when I actually find them. Where’s the fun in just finding what you already knew you would find.
I had read the cache page in the past and figured I knew what was at WP1 and what to do and as I was in the area I decided to have a look even though I had left the GPS at home and did not have the cachepage, I knew where to look for WP1 having used it before. Based on WP1 I headed out of town to a likely spot and started searching a large structure that was just too big to search and did not seem right. Heading back into town I saw another (more) likely spot just off the road about 100 meters from where I had thought to look. A quick u-turn and a bit of reading confirmed this was the spot. I search for several minutes and had the cache in hand. A very satisfying FTF. The only way to find this cache is to be ready to first not find it before you find it.

ummmm The clue is a bit to cryptic for this black duck. The other duplicate waypoints are way to South to be any help.
