Second find on today's walk. It's been a lovely warm day so far. Definitely can tell summer is coming. This container is unfortunately in poor shape. I thought I had a sandwich bag replacement but forgot to bring one with me. Tftc
Great cache, nice location, superb walk. I almost went for a quick refreshing swim at the waterfall but decided against it in the interest of time and practicality
Went for this after completing Upper Mullet and another epic walk. Took some girls by surprise, swimming at the waterfall pool, on my way here.Quick find by following the cacher trail, thanks
Quick find on my way hiking from Wondabyne to Woy Woy station. Lots of ups and downs but a really enjoyable trail

A quick find. Container is very cracked. Going to the falls now. OCW pigeoncam and Sopty100. Skibidi toilet or kreeper. TFTC
Today my daughter and I set of to find this cache and the nearby multi . The weather was great and we enjoyed the train ride to Wondabyne, I forgot how steep the hill was but made it up after a few stops . At GZ it was a quick find thanks to accurate co ords, as others have said the lid of the container is missing but the contents were dry. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Out for a walk down to Wondabyne Station and was pleased to find this cache. Like the previous find, the plastic is deteriorating and no lid, but all contents are dry. Loved the rocks keeping it hidden
Had a look for a while, was right on top of it and looked at all the nearby rock ledges and couldnt find it
Wish i was a crow. 2.7km the compass told me, whilst at Woy Woy Rd. Turns out to be a 9.1 km walk, 4 hours it took me. Track is quite eroded on the down/ups. From 200Mts down to 55, and back up to 200, with a little 100m blip in the middle. What a hike. That was to Old Kent Rd, which is 550mtrs after this one. Plenty of little birdies, the odd lizard, and 1 frog. Croaked on the way out, and when i came back. The cache is hidden quite well, and i spotted it from afar, as i came up from checking another likely spot. There is no lid, and the container is deteriorating as well, so if you are comng this way, bring a container, as its highly unlikely to get any maintenance. Log has been wet, but is dry now and quite stiff. TFTC.
Big walk to Pindar Cave today. As I opted not to take the train I had to start from Woy Woy Road. This included a fair bit of the Norhtern walk before even getting to the Pindar trail. Walked 27 km in ttotal with a few caches along the way and a great event at the Pindar cave with a really good turn out. Now at home feeling sorry for my sore muscles!

Arrived at GZ to find the cache out in the open with no lid and the plastic container breaking in some parts. Did the legals and replaced where I thought it needed to be. The log book was also very wet. TFTCM

Taking my oldest son for a walk out to explore Pindar Cave and we decided to play some monopoly on the way.
A relatively quick find for the young cacher, not too far off the track.
The cache is missing its lid, but all the contents are safe.

The novos are out today along the GNW headed for the Rifle Range Firetrail junction north of Wandabyne via Thommos Loop in search of some lockdown recreation. It was a very warm and still day - doesn't get much better!
After crossing the two brooks and making the climb back out, the rest of the novos decided to wait it out about 200m east of here after reporting being low on water so I've just come from reaching the junction solo and then finding Old Kent Road. This cache had me going around in circles a little but in saying that the coords are pretty good but the cache has no lid. Still, I don't think it is going to get wet inside as it's safely tucked away and dry. As I emptied the contents to SL a rather large ball of black shoelace sized twine SWAG had me jumping a mile as it looked like a great big hairy spider lol. TFTC, cphoenix and Bateau Bay Bandit.

Another good hide. Spotted this one quite quickly although retrieval was a little tricky. Long arms help. Thanks for placing.
It was hard to find a GZ here, as our GPS was having difficulty settling. We climbed up and down the rock formations, following the GPS, until eventually we reached a spot where it said 0 metres. After searching around here, we couldn't find anything, but after expanding our search area to somewhere that didn't match the hint as well, we found it. After having a quick break nearby, we headed back to Wondabyne Station in order to return to Newcastle. TFTC!
Lid missing for this one but well protected where it was hidden but could do with a new container if anybody reads this and is heading out that .

Clearing these out before it gets to hot a bit of excitement on track to this one geo kid yelled snake and there was made us extra careful
So walking along the track and the geo kid screams snake. We had stepped over it. The geo kid stayed back and waited for the snake to go before proceeding. Can’t believe snakes are already out. We found the cache out in the open with no lid and no loot left. Signed the log and rehide.

Lid broken but all dry. Nice home but may need a check.

The caches have blended into one because of my fatigue today. It was a hot day and the going was slow. Nevertheless I am very thankful for this cache. Kept the walk interesting and the views were lovely.
A fun little find, stopped at this spot for morning tea with west's tigers fan. Fourth find of the day, tftc!

After dealing with a nearby Mullet, I headed off to track down some monopoly caches on this perfect winter's day. After success at Pall Mall, I continued down into a wonderful area under a rock overhang and passing a waterfall. After a little more up, down, up I began my search at GZ. Found the container using a plastic bag for a lid in otherwise good condition. Thanks for bringing me to this fantastic area. I really enjoyed the walk.

Found with TOMBI!, and Orsome86 doing some interesting D/T combinations. TOMBI! and I had started a set of caches but when Orrsome86 rang we changed our aim and starting out doing the Great Train Heist, intending to finish at upper Mullen as one car was parked there, for a WPnt. After traveling back and forth to find the Heisted Train, we got off at Wynboine and followed the GNW back to the car (about 9.5 Km as you walk), finding all the Monopoly caches on the way TFTC cphoenix

Tombi put the call out to see if anyone was interested in finding a train robber and a few other caches. Initially I didn’t think I would be able to assist, however a change in circumstances meant I could make the journey. So a day of adventures ensued with train rides and a big hike and a few difficult caches tackled.
This was the fifth cache we found. We walked along the GNW in a predominantly downwards direction from Old Kent Road. We initially overshot the GZ and back tracked. Then it was a matter of finding the hide. We all split up and managed to find it after a couple of minutes. TFTC

Another beautiful Spring day and so I headed out for a walk.
After finding both of the nearby multi's I headed over to this one.

After Old Kent. phlphotos and I had enough times to get this one before getting back for the 29 past train back to Hornsby. We made it back to the station with only a minute to spare. Phew!
#788 the kast cache I found for the day. The cache doesn't have a lid and had a plastic bag over the top. Everything was dry inside. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache cphoenix. Headed back to the station as the train was coming round the bend had just enough energy to get to the next carriage where I slumped.
Having found the caches along the track either side of this one, it's been on my radar for far too long. Today, with Muggless visiting, we went for a walk with him making the find of a good-sized cache.
The walk took a bit longer than we were expecting, with us getting back to Woy Woy Road in the very last light of day.
Many thanks for an enjoyable hide.

Second for the day with barefootjeff, but as it was getting late we decided it was the last. A pleasant walk nonetheless. I'll pick up the Wondabyne-side caches another time. TNLN, TFTC.
Terrific path with great twists and sights.
I note I got Pall Mall coming from the other direction months ago so will head on back to Wondy - bracing work and glad it's largely downhill

Unfortunately neglected to get the bits needed from each so will have to go back if monopoly is a future goal as I'm pretty sure I've done a fair few of them.

I hiked in from woy woy rd. the previous finder wrote " I'm stuffed" in the log and Couldn't agree more. But it's a nice spot. Containers lid is cracked and no longer sealing. I put the container in a zip lock bag but it's not big enough. Container will need replacing at some point. However even with all the rain the log was dry.

Have been thinking about finishing the Monopoly Series for a while. So when I received an SMS from the xPhenoms arrived asking did I want some exercise. Why not I thought nice walk and the chance to find the remaining caches along the way to Wondabyne. We were dropped off at the trailhead on Woy Woy road around 0600 by the better looking half of the xPhenoms, Started off down the long and winding trail past Pall Mall which I had already found. Arriving at the waterfall to find that unfortunately somebody had turned the tap off to conserve water. Great Cache. TFTC
For once a cache that didn't require bush bashing

I spent longer on this one than I should have... My gps and iphone both took me to a spot which suited the hint. I looked at logs and read how easily it had been found and figured it could have been muggled.. Surely not all the way out here though!! I broadened my GZ and left some skin and blood on a nearby rock that my shoes did not which to grab properly. My new Garmin oregon 600 which was being tested on this run, also took a couple of very heavy knocks in the fall. It is still fine!! If that was my phone it would be shattered now.. I'm super impressed by this unit now - screen is indestructible and so is the unit!!
After spending more time at the GZ I was nearly at that "just forget about it, it's probably gone" stage when suddenly it appeared. I'm not sure whether I was relieved I found it or annoyed I wasted so much time to find it.
TFTC cheers
Ohh great spot BTW! I tended to a few minor medical operations and had morning tea at this site..

Didnt have much time for this as my school group had lost interest in geocaching. Next time.
Needed a rest stop here after the gully, beautiful spot will be coming back for sure
Probably the easist cache to find today as the container stood out, although it's seen better days. Great views from the large exposed rock nearby. Signed log and marched on.
Lovely walk to get there, slight error inputing the GPS coordinates so we didn't actually find. We'll try again though.
This was my second cache on the way to Wondabyne Station (& back!) this afternoon through the bush. I like that these monopoly caches are pretty close to the track. Quick find and I continued along the plateau. Thanks cphoenix & Bateau Bay Bandit.
What a place to hide a cache, I loved this bush walk, but legs didn't, I got 3 of the caches on this trail to Patonga. I would suggest others bring their bikes and chain/hide them at this cache for an easier return to Staples Lookout. My walk to Old Kent Road and back took 3hrs today with a few side track explorations and relaxation at the beautiful Waterfalls near Pall Mall cache. Plenty of frog-mouthed caves to see, most with very evasive geckos. Bumped into a pro walker with all the hiking gear, also some mountain bikers who were really sorry they tried this trail from Patonga back to the Loop Track, its not bike friendly at all. Overall, thank-you for bringing me here, and that's a few more of the monopoly series done, looking forward to the others that are closer to Patonga, I think ill take the Kayak to those ones!

Yeah, I reckon this cache is worth $320. Quite tough to get to the area - but if you come from Woy Woy Rd, you'll see some nice waterfalls.

Found as part of 1000th cache bush walk today starting with the "W" after getting off the train at Wondabyne and walking out to Pall Mall return which was 9.5km in just under 3 hours (if you dont make 3 hours its then 4 hours as the train only stops every hours). We made it back in just under an hour from Pall Mall and at one stage thought we would miss the train as coming down the last section of track to the station we could hear the squel of the train wheels on the tracks. We began running as best we could but it turned out to be the north bound train which is 6 min ahead of the south bound train so when we realised this we pushed on, crossed the tracks, up on to the platform with a few minutes to spare.
We arrived near GZ after alittle bit of mud on the track further up. While this one is not far from the track there are plenty of hiding spots so we began our search and after a little look we had the cache in hand. We took the travel bug and then completed the signing duties and replaced. We looked to see we where in good time and decdied to press onto Pall Mall (We had tought of doing it from the other side at another time. TFTC

Found today, watched over by a pair of black cockatoos! Enjoyed our walk to this point. Will come back another day to do the full track as we had an afternoon commitment at Terrigal so headed back to the car after this find.
Nice cache Left the Bugatti to travel wherever she wants to go Vrooooooom!
Last find of the day and a great spot on flat rock near the track for lunch.
After doing Pall Mall a few weeks back, I have wanted to complete the rest of the cache finds through to Wondabyne. I picked this weekend to do so and of course I wake up to a very wet day. Nevertheless off I went. Was completely drenched before I had gotten 1km down the track. Seems my raincoat is only showerproof! I loved the walk to here. The waterfall was a surprise and a delight to see, but as I was already soaked to the skin I didnt need to stop for a quick dip! Took about 10 mins to locate the cache, then had to try not to get it too wet as I signed the log and replaced. Took carabiners and left Vegas casino chips. TFTC
I had checked out this great walk from Staples lookout to Wondabyne using GCA. This meant I was able to view the map via OSM which correctly shows the walking track which passes right by this cache.
Of the lot along the walk, I think I liked this one best. Maybe becasue I love rock!

This one looked daunting. Both Google Maps and the 1:250000 top showed it in the middle of the mulga. Didn't fancy bush bashing that far. A nice surprise when we found that the track went right past here. Took a little bit longer to locate than Pall Mall. We should have trusted the GPS more.
This poor cache doesn't get many visitors. Been a long time since the last cachers dropped by. Then three in one day.

We were somewhat daunted by the difficulty & terrain rating of this cache - getting towards our upper limits really, and were tempted to simply scurry fearfully past. However we gathered our courage and managed to force our way through the thick ankle high scrub the 2 or 3 metres necessary from the track in order to attain our goal. Which we managed to do. Oh enough of this nonsense. It is a nice spot. Ludicrously simple to get this one. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole Monopoly series along our walk to Wondabyne. Picked up a toy top and left some small carabiners.
