Plenty of dnfs, spiders and a huge paper wasp nest with plenty of wasps flying in and out.
Nope. Like others before me, and according to the photo, pretty hard to miss. Needs maintenance

After spending some time in the visitor centre we walked over to this one.
Add our names to the DNF list as after a very good search we left without a smilie…..but still smiling as these friendly locals are lovely.

Found on a morning walk with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket. I am glad I did not get a "pat" on the back for this one. TFTC
This is our first find after a lonnnnng break from caching. Found on a drizzly morning. TFTC
Day 10 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives before continuing south for a loop around the Snowy Mountains.
After spending last night in a hotel in Thredbo it was then time to continue our trip with a drive up towards Charlottes Pass. After the drive down from the Pass we stopped at Jindabyne for some lunch and a couple of caches on my list before heading towards the coast for the run home.
Stopped here for a break to stretch the legs. Wandered over to GZ and after some strategic groping soon located the cache. The logbook was significantly wet and pretty well full so I dropped a dry replacement after signing my name. Photos added of the old logbook. TFTC

This was an"udderly" great cache. Luckily the grass has been recently mown. Deserves a favourite point.
We like caches on this sort of structure.
Cache found after a short search, signed and replaced.
No filings here today, but a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, McPhan, for us and others to find.

Looked closely for this, it's hidden in a funny spot. it's definitely where you navigate to. and watch out for the swooping birds. we are here in nesting season and one had to stand guard while the birds attacked us.
Taking a road trip to Lakes Entrance with GrimRaider. Haha loved this cache. Ty hanks for the fun stop
Condition Report:. Good

Having to do a delivery to New South Wales we thought that we would take the opportunity to take a more scenic route and grab a few caches along the way.
Not having a lot of time we were trying to concentrate on ones that were close to the road and this one fitted the bill.
We are really glad that we stopped to do this cache as it has answered the age old question that I have been asking myself since I was three years old. Now at 66 I finally know the answer. What a great place to find this out. We located the cache after a short search and after adding our name to the log we headed back to have a look at what else is on show here.which was quite impressive, well worth a visit.
Thanks McPhan for the cache.

Found during a brief break from driving. Nice placement. Luckily not too much traffic. TFTH
Just as well there were no muggles watching my antics trying to find this one McPhan - not that it took very long, just pretty funny to watch I would think. TFTC SL
What a fabulous day today. Blue skies, sun, beautiful green rolling hills and successful caching experiences. It was so good to be able to set my own timetable and not worry about holding other people up. I love the social aspect of town caching but the solitude of rural caching is so calming.
Today’s trip from Canberra to Jindabyne, Bombala, Cooma and home again involved 18 caches – 8 GCAs and 10 GCs as well as covering two new dragon zones. Many thanks to all the COs, especially DSD who helped me out to ensure I didn’t have to record any DNFs, for placing and maintaining these caches adding to my enjoyable caching experience.

What a fun find! Spent the day exploring the area between Eden and Bombala - this was definitely a favourite. TFTC
I headed off early today for a drive and marked a few caches on my route that looked interesting of which this was one.
Nice one!
Thanks to McPhan for the placement and fun.

There's a little country town that I like and it's called Corryong [^]
OK so it may have something to do with an A. B. Patterson poem too and also books about a Silver Brumby [^]
So when an unexpected opportunity of time off work for medical reasons [|)][xx(] and a possible FTF at Corryong occur simultaneously.... it's road trip time!! [^]
Four days, over 1,500km and the chance to turn a previous DNF in Orbost into a smiley while also finding the last lonely unfound cache in a series in Crinigan Reserve near Morwell [^] and overall 34 cache finds including the long forgotten map 23 area [^] which I'd missed on my last trip to the NE corner of Victoria
We camped and drove, walked and wandered in rain then sunshine and saw snow on the mountains in NSW in summer [?] We saw gum trees as high as the sky , searched in rainforests and passed through amazing countryside
A huge trip and an all night drive to get home so that I could attend the movie 'Happy Sad Man' in Shepparton on the 5th December. A good movie about men's mental health and worth seeing if you get the chance [^][^]
A nice wander for Rex and I , some old style buildings to look at [^], an old turntable nearby [^], a steel motorbike and a cache
Only down side was that the toilets were locked so we had to keep travelling Otherwise we'd haver stayed longer.
Still the cache did make me laugh

Tricky little clue took us to the cache. Like you say CO this gave us a reason to stop and enjoy the surroundings. TFTC
Quick find on this quirky sculpture. I do like it. I’m visiting from Perth. Thanks for the cache.
This trip is the....
Mad Mega/AUSmer 9x9 Mission....
I need 9 hidden month caches to complete the AUSmer challenges and 9 D/Ts to finish my fizzy grid but on this trip, priority is going to the AUSmers.
It was a quick 4013 km trip from Brisbane to the Mega in Wooloongong.
5 states in 5 days (okay, one was a territory) to finish the AUSmer and a few other challenges....
Went through Qld, NSW, Victoria, a loop into South Australia then all the way back across to eastern Victoria for the last AUSmer cache. From there I turned north and went up through the A.C.T. and then to the Mega in Wooloongong. Phew!
On the "home stretch" now and will get to Wooloongong by tomorrow morning. I try and grab a cache in an area I haven't cached before, for the LGA challenges and this one was nice and simple which is just the ticket in such an exposed location and right on the highway for travellers passing through.

This was an enjoyable stopping point for us to stretch the legs and grab a couple caches. The chilly morning encouraged a brisk walk to GZ where the younger bunnies had great delight in finding this container. TFTC

Found while driving with Bunadoorian to Mallacoota from Canberra. Find 10 of 22 for us today but I can't claim 2 just yet. Loved this little park and placement of the cache! . TFTC McPhan. A favourite from me for making us stop and have a good look at this park!!
Returning from Canberra back to Melbourne but going the long way around to complete some pages in the Victorian Country UBD Callenge. Grub62 and I thought a few extra chaches along the way would be nice. We saw this cache was on the way and stopped to stretch our legs. Our GPS was playing up which we found udderly confusing. Nice hide. TFTC.
Found while on a drive through the mountains. an easy fid with the hints help. Nice street art. TFTC
Well I appreciated you hiding a cache here I've stopped many times on my travels today, also liked the turntable that was good to. Tftc
Having spotted these cows at the beginning of our holidays Genghicat and I had to return for photos on our return leg. How delighted we were to find a cache attached. Genghicat found it before I could finish examining one side. He's had a good day today leaving me well behind. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
We were heading from our camp at Goongerah (Vic) to Jindabyne today via Bonang, Delegate, Bombala, Delgety etc via the Snowy River Way and as per usual decided to grab a few caches enroute.
It's not that we *couldn't* find the cache but more that we *couldn't get to the cache* because a couple of very angry and aggressive bird beasts were dive bombing us as we approached the GZ. We reckon they were using the, er, structure to hide their nest and young'uns so we made a hasty retreat back to the safety of our bird-proof car! (The "spectacle" did provide some amusement to a couple of maintenance guys working on the loading rig in the Caltex depot though!)
This one will need to wait for another day.

1,078Km from home.
So first off an apology to the cache owner/s for the later than planned detailed log, we have been on the road for almost 5 weeks heading from home near Toowoomba QLD to Canberra for ANZAC day and return, the very long way around.
The trip took us through St George QLD, Lightning Ridge NSW, Lithgow NSW, Wodonga VIC, Maffra VIC, Cann River VIC, Bombala NSW, Bredbo NSW and into Canberra to participate in an Army Apprentice Association reunion, the highlight of which was leading the National ANZAC Day march in Canberra. Back through Sydney, Armidale and finally back to home.
Doing a couple of caches while based in Bombala, we did this after looking at some of the old railway gear and the disappointing tourist info centre. Felt a little weird as I reached into get the cache but all good in the end.
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick and the log is in good condition but almost full and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache McPhan.
Cheers

Thought the geograndies were in the wrong place the clue didn't perturb them luckily.TFTC good fun
I sought out some geocaches while on a six-day trip with others from Pedal Power in Canberra to East Gippsland to ride the East Gippsland Railtrail. I found 32 caches plus I collected two travel bugs to share the journey. The weather was fine and mild, the scenery delightful and the company pleasant, making for a great trip.
This cache was a reasonably straightforward find, being right on the coordinates. I loved the rustic sculptures! Thank you McPhan for installing and maintaining this cache.

I was staying nearby so decided to check out this cache. Parked the car nearby and then it was just a short walk across towards gz. The hint helped to narrow down the search. Although the cache was well hidden and required a bit of effort, I soon spotted it there, reached in, and had the cache in hand. Signed the log and then replaced it all as found. Now I'm thirsty.

Found Is this where iron filings come from? traditional cache at Bombala with Geodude. These look a bit different to my cows. SR
The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
fitzy had found this one a while ago so we swung by so I could make the grab. Had fun milking the cow

Found 9:40 am with girl friend. I had been on a mission to rescue my Geocaching Australia gnome about 10k's south of Bombala and so we had decided to make a weekend of it and stay in Bombala overnight. This was our second cache attempt the next morning. We found the hint amusing given they are cows. I had parked the geovehicle nearby and we hoofed (pun intended) our way over to GZ. I found getting down and personal on knees was the quick answer to finding it. Signed the log and returned cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache.
