Got my logs mixed up.
This is the correct one.
Easy find, but not sure what the clue relates to.

NZ11. Happily the rain cleared as I entered the park and I was able to explore a few areas. This one was successful despite being distracted by the nearby equipment. Thanks.

Couldn't find this one last year, but got it this time. Thanks for the new coords! The log is dry but the plastic bag needs to be replaced.

#680 A monster day caching in TWS land. 13/19. Another lovely walk and spot. Saw Peacocks, wood pigeons, just gorgeous. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Spent a long time searching just about everywhere for this one, ended up moving on to another cache...The following morning while in that same area during a team building activity which involved hiding while people search for you using radios etc...My friend stumbled across the cache!!
Was really exciting, nice cache full of lots of different things too. We took the Jeep travel bug & helped move it from Auckland to Wanganui. Thanks!

Stumbled across it during an activity after spending over half an hour looking for it unsuccessfully the day before! Nicely camoflauged. Felt like we accomplished something big! Took the Jeep travel bug. TFTC.
The co-ords a bit out for me - about 12 m. Read the previous logs, used the new co-ords, still a bit out but bingo. Found a "Where to live? TB" in cache and left "Jeep 4x4 #4920 TB"

Had to hunt for this one. But a little treat, we stood watching 2 bellbirds feeding 3m away Fantastic. TFTC
Took longer than expected as coords were off a bit. When we used the one's in the previous log we found straight away so thanks for that. Nice big container great hide. TFTC
This one took a while and I was beginning to think twas only a slim chance of finding it. The hint seemed a bit cryptic, but in hindsight made sense so in the end persistance paid! My GPS kept sending me about 8 meters off... took a waypoint at GZ 36 36.687 174 49.275 (though got in a rush so unsure of accuracy)
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found this afternoon by the whole clan on a visit to this lovely park. Took nothing, left "Muzza" token from Canada; boomerang; sewing kit and one of our famous calling cards. TFTC - Penguins
This was our 2nd attempt at this one with the new Garmin Dakota GPS found it no problem.
Found it on a cool and overcast day at Shakespear Bay ( look at that a poet and I didn't even know it). Good walk with Ann and Fiona as well. This really is a magic spot to visit. The pest proof fence is coming along wel, thanks all you volunteers.
Excellent cache, great hiding spot, thanks!!

A really nice cache. We choose the park for our overnight stay and the cache was found before breakfast. Thanks for this one, I enjoyed it!
Great! A cache before having breakfast! And we had pretty nice weather and a good view.

As it was almost 9 am and we had to take the dogs back home, there was not much time for looking around. And hundreds of possible hiding places... beautiful spot though! Greetz from Holland.
I had downloaded the info for this one some time ago and didnt recheck before heading up this way. so i was looking at the old cordinates with the old clue. I hadjust given up looking and was heading away and noticed the cache out of the corner of my eye. Nice quiet spot for a cache. TFTC.

We've searched and searched but the cache is gone! Not to worry, it shall be replaced. Check back soon for new info on the replacement cache (the coordinates will be updated as the terrain has changed a bit)
Well... I looked quite extensively and I was unable to locate this cache. I spent quite some time looking too... maybe I just missed it? As it has not been found since August I am thinking muggled perhaps?
Found the spot, would be a lovely spot for a picnic on a summers day, but no luck finding cache today. Will return one day when its not as wet and try again!
Returned to this cache to place "Socrates" the TB Rat.

Easy find but not as quick as we can be sometimes. Was on a mision to clear the park and we did. TFTC
We originally found this cache 2 years ago before ever signing up for a geocache username.
We were back in the area and quickly found it again. Good to see that it has survived.

Getting on in the day by now - we've found a lot today! This is a very nice part of Shakespear Park. Thanks

We set out with Kiwifeet this morning to see how many caches we could find on the shortest day of the year. This was the 30th of 32 finds today. A nice rural setting for the cache. Thanks for taking us here.

Cache was half visible sos it was a quick and easy find. Took both jeep tbs. Recovered before I left TFTC
I didn't strictly find it but I ordered the soldiers of my Army Reserve unit to do so. We had been doing counter terrorist search training at Whangaparoa camp and this made a fun diversion for them after some more intense activities (ie no booby traps to contend with).
2683. A quick walk to the cache and an equally quick find. Rodney played stick games while we did the logging.
Thanks

9.25am. A quick find. Nice in this area today. Took the jeep TB and left two jeep TBs. Thank you. David and Noeline.
14th of our 20 finds in the area today . We seem to have walked all over the park todat but this was probably the best spot as it was sheltered from the wind and had great photo opportunities . Left a keyring and took Maggie. T4TC.
What a hunt! It took us ages to find as our gps was pointing us to the wrong place. We were just about to give up when we broadened our search and soon had the cache in our hands. TFTH!
A bit of a hunt for this one, took ages of looking in all the wrong places However, it was in a nice easy spot and I'm not sure how we missed it for so long. Oh well, spent a while looking at some red parrots flying about and a few mina??? birds - we don't have them things down our way. Heaps of pukeko's in the paddocks up here, I suppose our equivilent is rabbits TNLN Thanks, cache is in good condition.
Easy find (surprisingly for us)
Took nothing, left nothing as we had come unprepared
554 metres to the next cache!!!

One of our favourite picnic spots too! Even worth the visit in the rain. Took us a while to locate the cache, nicely hidden.

Battery died on the paperless caching device on the way here which left us 'clueless', perseverance paid off though. Geocoin/travelbug swap. Cheers.
This one took us awhile, partly because we got carried away taking pictures, partly because we just couldn't find the thing! Saw quite a few nice hidey-holes (seems like there may be rabbits in the area), but no cache. We eventually did come upon the cache, but after a few sessions of painfully extracting those clingy little seeds that stick to your leg hairs...Ouch! (Tip: Shave before you attempt this one, LOL)
Went there with AnnaFromSweden. Looked around the area, used the hint, unfortunately couldn't find it There was one particular spot that looked perfect for a cache, but it wasn't there... Ah well, maybe our next visit to Shakespear. tftc anyways!
Long distance training walk today. Getting out on a beautiful day and enjoying great views and sunshine.

Picked up Ranch TB tag, to take it back to Wenderholm, to reunite it with it's TB.
Took a bit of poking around to find it, and had to dodge around a stroppy peacock. The fourth and final cache of the day. TFTC.
Lovely walk in this beautiful park.
Left a TB disk, we picked this up from GDH5DE at Wenderholm, but left the other part of the TB there.
Hopefully someone will reunite the two.

Wizard family (all 3 generations) took a few minutes to find this one. Took a parachute man for teen wizard to play with (???). Left a weta, which seemed fitting for the environment.

Had a quick fossick but alas didn't find it. were getting a little cold by this time and decided to retreat for a coffe and will try again another day.
Exploring the area today, and pleased to discover this cache. Though not much green paint left.
Easy find, due to the usual geocaching markers. Thanks for taking us up the steps through the bush to this this grassy knoll.

#576. Last of the day for the St. Ouens tribe and fitting that it should be placed by Pukeko5579 whom we had just met.
I'd always walked up the road before when following the blue trail so nice to find this private area. Swapped TB's. TFTC.

Jumped out of the car after the event cache day. Such a rush to get there as we were short for time ( had to get back to see someone while up here) that I left clues in the car. Fossicking around when Max let out a bark to tell us where it was.
It was a busy day for this cache as we met up again with Rumo and Roel M.
