Found with rogerw3 while doing some GC caches in the area. Very hazy today. Saw a farmer driving in his tractor on the property where the trig is. TFTT

I was stopped on Stacks Rd by a closed gate. Not locked, but I didn't feel it was my place to cross that threshold. I found a spot on Sydney Rd from which to get the long shot.

Well I used my GPS’s to get me to this location – once I completed a GC cache about 5 minutes away I basically went go to this 1 – so the last finder zoomed from Rydal Road which I travelled after completing this 1 and yes you can see it and also on Sodwalls road. I came in from Stacks Road and took the shots from the gate to this property. So, I dare say this is the closest that you will get to this trig without asking the owners permission. The shots were taken at 970 metres away. A very interesting trig completed making sure I wasn’t on private property. So I was very happy with the outcome at the end and the trip out here – thanks again

On private property, but you can zoom in from from Rydal Road about 1.5km away, and Sodwalls Rd about 2km away. It is a concrete plinth on bare grassy knoll, dwarfed by Mount Lambie in the background.
