Not hard to find it now as the tree is chopped down. It’s a very nice view from up here as many local people know about as there is many items up here of a party or 5 completed. Thanks for the view. Clan Griffin

#GA1298 - 11:20; Day 3 of a caching mission in and around Sydney with Sol de lune. We had now reached suburbia and were headed north when we stopped for this unusually named cache. The name wasn't all that was unusual, as the trig is rather well hidden in a bush and in great condition given its location. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Arrived with LuckyL10n and headed up the hill......bit funny to see the trig in the middle tree. Photo taken and all good.

I was looking around for a piece of metal in the ground, but it was one of the big ones...just consumed by a tree. 360 degree views too.

I parked in Carmichael Drive and found the trig hidden in a large bush on top of the hill. It is still complete and in good condition.

I parked nearby and climbed the hill and soon found the right bush with the cache inside.

One of nine trigs logged by rogerw3 and me today, this one was the most humourous -- if you can say that about a trig!

I suggested to rogerw3 that we call this one 'the camo trig' because it looked very much like the old pedestal-and-vanes had wrapped a 'cloak of invisibility' around itself!

The story in rogerw3's log is very true. If the trig had jumped out, it would really have scared us!

Anyhow, the bush camo seems to have kept this one in good shape and we were probably the first people to actually see it for some years. We parted the bushes (with some contortions) for the photos, but then left everything in place, just as we found it.

Great to see vanes in good condition and an intact plaque.

Congrats to rogerw3 for calculating the coordinates so close to the pedestal that we finally found it despite ourselves . . .

And nice views from here too . . .

'Three Thumbs Up' for the fun!

Find number 8 of 9 with pjmpjm on our trigging tour. This one was a comedy of errors as it is completely hidden from sight by a huge bush growing all around it.
First pjmpjm said "this is where I would have put a Trig" and I said "We should be standing right on top of it" and just as pjmpjm said"Let me enter the co-ords on the GPS" I noticed a barely visible whitish shade of something peering thru the bush we were staring at!
And there it was completely intact but invisible to all. By the way pjmpjm is not doing anything unnatural to this trig, it was the only way to push the branches aside to get the photo.
