While travelling north I decided to pick up some LGAs . This one took a pit of finding, but after closer inspection of previous photos I managed it. TFTT Geocaching Australia.
Found this trig while out on a caching run through the Liverpool area. Total haul for the day was over ten caches including 6 trigs, some GC caches and a virtual.
This was my last GCA cache for the day. After a DNF on a trig(!) on the water tower across the road this was an easy find. Coords were spot on and the obvious structure ignored except to take in the great view of this place. Snapped the required photo then off to find the nearby GC cache. Apart from all the rubbish this is a nice place!

GCA Find #192
Hoping this find will move me one step closer to the destination, be that either the blue tile or my goal of 100 trigs!

Find # 25 for the Journey or Destination games.

Doing a nearby GC cache with WaywardWoman we noticed a trig here. My coords took me to this Survey marker so decided to take its photo. There is no longer a plaque on the pedesal and lots of rubbish around. However the views were amazing!
Two objects to choose from. I know which one I like best, but thought I should include both.

About 20 + years ago I travelled this road to work every day & always wondered what the view was like. Was retrenched & didn’t travelled this road often in the next 22 years. You could count them on your fingers. As of last June, I cleaned up around Parramatta & Lidcombe as I knew I was either going to be retrenched or be transferred. Was lucky to be transferred. Now I’m traveling this road again to work, and I’m now into geocaching. Time to do a cache or 2 as I’m coming home from work after a 12-hour shift. Why you ask I’m babbling on with is stuff – the simple answer is completing this trig you see an amazing view of the east, well many new tall high risers. As you travel along lizzy drive – you are driving & keep an eye out for speed cameras. Coming to this trig you can enjoy the view. Ground Zero area is a bit of a mess – many broken bottles & rubbish around. The usual shit that you would expect in suburbia. As I was walking back to car I was thinking the house prises would be a premium here of the view, the down side would be putting up with the knuckle heads that come here & course a bit of trouble and have a piss up & leave there shit behind.
The end shot of this trig – enjoy the view as many trigs provide you – thanks

Great views from here as far as the city to the north. This is probably the base of the original trig as there is a permanent marker at the side of the path with the trig number on the inside of the lid.

Found today with friends doing the driving duties, I wanted to find a few more but I was outvoted.

#GA414 - 13:00; I suggested to Sol de lune some time back that we should do a day run to Sydney to pick up some of the GCA trigs and caches on offer. A couple of weeks ago we identified an opportunity timing wise and so it was that we made our way north today, collecting a total of 32 trigs for the day. Turned into what we though was a side street, but was an access road which was closed off. It would appear we still picked the best parking spot for access to this trig. We headed along the path and spotted the obvious feature, but my GPSr had me 15 metres from GZ. Stepped down from the platform and soon found the actual trig point. I'm inclined to claim a first to find on this trig, as all of the earlier pictures show the obvious feature, but not the actual trig point/survey marker. Interesting to see what subsequent finders publish! TFTC Geocaching Australia

A day trip planned with LuckyL10n to start grabbing a few trigs in different areas of Sydney. Hit Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown today...and grabbed a total of 32. Back in a couple of months for another go.
We grabbed a photo of the actual marker point, not the concrete thing, as GZ certainly had us about 15 metres in front of said concrete thing. So, which is which and what is what I wonder??
Cerberus rules here.

I know this park pretty well, having years ago found a traditional here, and more recently spending time at the top of the nearby tower on a cherry picker for work putting up a couple of microwave links. All I can say from when I worked here a shame the park doesn't run to a toilet
Snap a pic while getting the cache close by. Nice views around here.

Didn't immediatly recognise this one as a trig, luckily I had pictures of others to back up my assumption! Great views here!

An easy find if a bit of a walk from Liverpool station, still a very nice little park. the concrete pillar is not the original but it still stands exactly where the Trig Point used to be. looks like the explanation plaque has gone and been souvenired.

I had sat on this concrete base around the trig talking too Rainbow Spirit a few mnonths ago, without realising there was a trig base here!
