Well, one previous log from 2015 stated that at least the trig was now vertical...it isn't anymore. Regardless of this, it is sitting sturdily at its current angle.
1845, 9/1/2016; however, I first found and photographed this trig on Saturday arvo, 1710, 20th July, 1985!
It is certainly WORSE for wear now. Could clearly hear the traffic on the nearby Princes Highway. No mountain bikers seen.

This poor trig has definitely seen better days although at least it is vertical again. Found on the way to boot camp.

Last one for today. Easy find. Parked in Farnell Ave and went via the Loftus trig track. The trig has seen better days though.

I was in the area for some caches and spotted this one on my GPSr. Took a walk along the track which was longer than I expected. Finally came to the poor old trig which has been knocked over. It's more a "Water Board" style of trig rather than Dept of Lands as there's no cairn or plinth. Have seen one similar on Picton Road. Got my pics and headed back.

On our way in to the park this morning, we stopped here for a short walk along a very lovely bush track. It was very peaceful strolling along to the trig.
A walk in the ouring rain to find this one today. This trig has seen better days!

Nice walk from Loftus station if you don't mind a couple short stretches along the princes Highway, but mostly far enough away from the edge of the road. Followed the management Trail with the wrongly labeled Loftus Trig marking, the actual Loftus Trig is on the reservoir across the highway at Yarrawarrah.
Unfortunately the vandals have got to this lovely Trig and smashed it down, it still hang on for now but who knows for how long.
The central post while bent is still firmly anchored into the ground.
Loved the area, lovely place for a walk.

Parked my car at the entrance sign of the national park and walked in from there. Not to hard to find this trig, but functional it is not anymore! Watch for all the mountainbikers!!
