This is not the first time I had seen this 'Trig Point', but it had usually been too late in the day to get a good photo.
I had come in to 'the Big Smoke' to see a movie nearby, so grabbed a photo as a walked by.

Well here is something you dont get to do everyday. We were coming home from a fancy dress party so were pretty much in full kit. We claimed the locationless "Costume Capers" at a nearby multi Could see the Tower OK with the eye, even at 11pm, but it didnt come out too well in the photo.

Visiting the wife who is in the hospital for replacement parts, adding the co-ords so I could get there. Caught the train to the Cross & being navigationally challanged (studied the map last night), turned on the Garmin when I entered Victoria St & headed off - in the wrong directon - took 5 minutes to get a signal & I then turned around. Walked back to Central following the good wife's directions & took half an hour with stops for waymarks & a wasp. Oh, found the trig & a couple more. I'll have to come up this way again - $16 return is good value. Thanks for adding so many new trigs.

it is easy to see why this used to be a Trig Point, before it became dwarfed by all the buildings around it, still it is a very nice and interesting building.
