This is not the first time I had seen this 'Trig Point', but it had usually been too late in the day to get a good photo.
I had come in to 'the Big Smoke' to see a movie nearby, so grabbed a photo as a walked by.

Well here is something you dont get to do everyday. We were coming home from a fancy dress party so were pretty much in full kit. We claimed the locationless "Costume Capers" at a nearby multi Wink Could see the Tower OK with the eye, even at 11pm, but it didnt come out too well in the photo.

Everyone should carry a sword while Trig Hunting...

20-Apr-12
Visiting the wife who is in the hospital for replacement parts, adding the co-ords so I could get there. Caught the train to the Cross & being navigationally challanged (studied the map last night), turned on the Garmin when I entered Victoria St & headed off - in the wrong directon - took 5 minutes to get a signal & I then turned around. Walked back to Central following the good wife's directions & took half an hour with stops for waymarks & a wasp. Oh, found the trig & a couple more. I'll have to come up this way again - $16 return is good value. Thanks for adding so many new trigs.

it is easy to see why this used to be a Trig Point, before it became dwarfed by all the buildings around it, still it is a very nice and interesting building.
