A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a black disc on top of four metal legs or concrete pillar, resembling a navigation beacon.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.
Please respect local laws and regulations when searching for trig points. If you believe that a trig point is located on private property or in a dangerous location, you may archive the cache, by clicking on Log this Cache and place an "Archived" log on the Geocaching Australia website.

Adjusted to coordinates, so that it indicates the narrow but taller reservoir, rather than the house to the north!

Today I am travelling between Griffith and Yass doing a couple of GCA caches plus some faved GC caches. This trig is one on the list I can pull up at with a caravan on tow.

Found after walking the streets of Temora with a bunch of members from my clan. A great day was had as we tried to clean out the area and learn so much about the history of Temora. TFTC

We were making our way from Hay to Cootamundra today, caching along the way. We've never along these roads so having the HOTT caches as a guide was great. Found GZ and the took the required photo. TFTC
Whilst in Temora this afternoon, we located the trig point on top of the reservoir. Two photos have been added to the Gallery: Mrs y'stassie with the trig point on the reservoir behind; and a closer view of the trig point on the reservoir. Thanks for the cache.

A cold front brought a break on the heat wave in Temora giving me a chance for some geocaches. This was an easy park and photo.

Found it. We are on our way to Alexandra event in Victoria and stopped here to locate the cache. TFTC
Headed through Temora on a caching run with friends. We were able to park quite close. I snapped this whilst they grabbed a cache nearby.

Had a long three days of caching with a total of 2054 km done! Enjoyed every minute of it despite some dissapointments as well. Most caches I found were really nice and in good condition, thanks to all the CO for putting them out there! Trip Kiama-down the Hume to Albury/Wodonga-Along the Murray to Cobram-back to NSW and via Hay to Ivanhoe=back down to Griffith-Temora-Yass and home.

A revisit to TAM for flight day and after a chase of local caches. Sighted from some distance away but easy to drive up to the reservoir gate. Strangely, this trig looked small both far and close.

Found 4:49pm with LuckyL10n. I was out on a caching run with LuckyL10n and his partner and friend. We were doing a large loop to grab GC and GCA caches, trigs and CORs. This trig is fairly high up and attached to another silo type structure but a reservoir. LuckyL10n took a couch potato shot from his seat. I decided I wanted a clearer shot with the iPhone and minimise power lines in the view so headed nearer to get the photo. Nice town we are in.

#GA698 - 16:50; I had sown the seed yesterday with the geohoney that we should go for a Sunday drive through the local countryside and perhaps collect a cache or two along the way. An itinerary was then hastily arranged and the geohoney's friend and MrDamage confirmed for the tour. We had picked up a few caches by the time we reached Young, including the trig near Boorowa, which saw MrD and I get a little damp. After a semi successful visit to the Temora Aviation Museum, it was back to the CBD to collect the local CORS then up the road to this trig. Parked the geomobile and took the required snap out the window! You'd have to be happy with that

Due to work commitments I had to move my trip day from Monday to Friday. This time I decided to head a bit further west. Not as many caches but a good drive and five trigs along the way. Thanks.

The other trig on my trip through Temora on my way to West Wyalong and beyond. Could spot this water tower a fair way off and you can't get really close but the photo is possible from the road.

baby&Mrs gopher found the trig while in Temora for an Ambulance Officer (Retired) get together at the Temora Rural Museum.The Trig is on Hospital Hill water tower on the road out towards Young.The view of the tower from just a little East looking towards the West is a good view.
