Travelling with Smittengranny and pulled up in the nearby street to grab the required photo.
TG47 and I are heading south through Kingaroy towards Texas Australia today so it was no hardship to make a short detour to grab the required photograph for this trig/CORS. TFTT Geocaching Australia

I had awful trouble finding Kingaroy CORS.. It didn't help I thought I knew where to go and didn't have the GPS. Then when we did find it (I'd enlisted MrG and the GPS by this) it seemed to have the top missing. Anyway, it's what others got so it must be right. TFT trig.

#GA3517 - 13:03; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. This is the first and probably only trig for me today and an easy find as Sdl had collected it on a previous visit. TFTT Geoching Australia

Arrived in Kingaroy and set about finding this one. Easiest spot to see the CORs is from the laneway next to GZ. CORs is right there and can't be missed.

This CORS in Kingaroy Qld is actually located on the roof of shops in the main street of kingaroy. It can not be seen from the front but if you go around to the public car park at the rear of the shops, Acess is from Haly Street behind the Commonwealth Bank or from Alford Steet opposite the police station you can see the mast very clearly.
