I too was cycling around looking for waypoints...no, not really. I came for the trig and the caches were bonuses.

I was cycling along the path finding WPs for a multicache, and one of the WPs was this survey mark. So when I found this also on my GPS, I pulled out my camera and took a photograph. TFTC.
#GA5490 - 13:50; Out on a caching run around Mulligans Flat with Sol de lune and was passing by this 'trig'. Sdl had logged it on a previous visit, so I wandered over to grab a snap while in the area. Glad I noticed we were close, as I'd always thought it was along another of the trails in the area TFTT Geocaching Australia

I joined a group if fourteen for a walk into Goorooyaroo to visit the caches that came out earlier this year and which with much help, and the occasional begging, I have found solutions for. The team was Minniek, fitzy_1965, GLISS!, Rapidlywild, Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, tankengine, Aquilus, GreyHams, dty73, barb2e & Aykayem and we signed as DecGoo. We carted a TOTT the whole way and made use of it on several occasions, even though it was not anywhere near long enough for one cache in particular. The biggest memory is indian file walking through shoulder high grass, but it was well worth the time to clean my socks afterwards.
This Survey mark was just by the side of the road near another cache, a quick stop for an image
Thanks

I was out caching with a group of fellow cachers grabbing mostly GC caches nearby. This one popped up on our radar so it was great to be able to grab a photo so that I could log it. TFTT Geocaching Australia.

Don't really care if it's a trig or not here in the ACT. Plenty of things like this are listed as trigs in NSW, Vic, Tas and SA, so it's good enough for me.

Not sure if this really is a trig, the area nearby is quite flat... Anyway was a good walk to it. Cheers.
While there seems to be some contention around claiming this type of Survey Marker - I did wait till someone archived it.
Alas, not yet. So I claim it!
Chilly evening on the Cross bike, but a fun loop all the same

Logging as a find, as I didn't actually create the marker. Not smart enough to locate the survey marker online to identify correctly.
