The official name of this Trig Station is Ashford CORS.
Serial number is TS 12245 Receiver Type: LEICA GR25 (CORS - Continually Operating Reference Stations) collecting geodetic data from GNSS. Information regarding CORS, including a picture of the receiver can be found on the Land and Property Information site (a NSW Government service) via: http://www.lpi.nsw.gov.au/surveying/corsnet-nsw/network_information

Easy find as I headed towards Warialda then Moree on my way home from the Dayboro Mega event via Toowoomba. Just a little meander. TFTT Geocaching Australia
Cod's Own Country was very quiet on our quick trip through town. Nothing happening at the RFS except wind.. it was windy everywhere today. Took a pic and continued on our way. TFTC GCA.

Planned to travel from Emmaville to Ashford but got lost. The Garmin navigator was no better. Ashford is on the way to becoming a ghost town with shops shuttered incl. the pub. The CORS though is on the biggest RFS I've seen. Fire folks everywhere so took the photo without Waymarking the station.
