A well defined single-track leads directly there, approx. 800m from the road. A new concrete pillar has replaced the original cairn, the remains of which are still scattered in the bush. The vane looks one of the newer variety, but is detached, and resting beside the pillar. On the sandy sections of the track were footprints of a large variety of native wildlife which was nice to see. The trail continued beyond the trig, but I didn't follow it further, as I had other trigs to bag before sunset!
