You'd have thought we'd have made short work of this beautifully positioned trig, located only about 30 metres from the road, and approached by a concrete path!

However, the Tom Tom GPSr stubbornly refused to take us to the roadside destination, stranding us on a dead-end street a couple of hundred metres away.

Mrs. pjmpjm were returning to the Blue Mountains from an event in Manly, and thought we'd make the find in the dark, and enjoy the view of lights from the lookout.

In the end, we had to reply on old-fashioned navigation!

Anyhow, the unusual plaque-and-pin trig is indeed where it's supposed to be and offers a wonderful panoramic view.
