Saw this one come up as a Find recently & thought "I didn't know you were there!" So today after work I made the find. Checking the location on Google Earth revealed a much easier route to the top from near the hockey fields, so made my ascent there, on a very mild late winter arvo.
Seems this trig is indeed demonised, as I too had to make the climb twice! Back to the top to retrieve my glasses...
