The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River operates public libraries at Margaret River and Augusta.
We are a part of the State Library of Western Australia network of public libraries, with access to a state-wide collection through inter-library loan.
Available at your libraries:
•Books, DVDs, audio-books & music
•A large range of magazines & newspapers, including The Guardian (UK)
•Government reports
•Games, jigsaws & puppets
•A huge variety of e-resources including -books, e-audio books, e-magazines, online databases, movies... and much, much more!
•Special parenting section
•Young adult collection
•Fantasy & science fiction collection
•Local history
•Languages other than English
•Large print
•Curtin collection – incorporating numerous titles in viticulture and oenology in partnership with Curtin University
•Herbarium – information about local flora
•Computing services include public internet PCs, Wifi access, printing, scanning, faxing and word processing
•Book delivery to Silver Chain Centres, hospitals and a limited housebound service
•Free use of public access internet computers for all over 55s
