#GA1087 - 08:50; Day 2 of the Melbourne Mega Mission with Sol de lune, now enroute from Kerang to Anglesea. While this trig was on our 'to do' list, we weren't sure about it until we arrived at the carpark and decided we had time up our sleeves and should give it a go. We made our way along the track, but turned to the left too soon along a nicely mowed strip. We made it close to the summit, but not quite there. We spotted an arrow closer to where we needed to be, but weren't able to get there from our current position. Decided to take our snaps and head down, but on the descent, picked up another arrow and headed off in the right direction. Finally made it to the top and took some snaps of the trig and the view before heading back down. Realised at the bottom that the mowed track was a red herring and we should have continued further along the trail before turning for the ascent. All good in the end and happy to have made the climb.
