At the moment on google and google earth the imagery date is at 05-05-2016 and it is showing the roof still off. I was in the area in the early evening and it was very dark and drizzling a little. I could here in the distance rumbles of thunder and could tell the storm was coming. I took a chance from parking area and did the walk up the hill to water tank. I left my camera at home so I had to rely on my mobile phone. As it is an older one its pictures are just OK but not good enough. I knew if I found trig, I will need to return with my good camera to take better shots which I will do in the early new year. Once at the top I walked around the back where others have taken the photos it has change a bit. There it a ladder system to get to the top of the tank and around the whole edge of tank at the top there is a hand safety rail to stop anyone from falling of tank. I had to walk back a fare bit and take the shots. The main problem is that the fin part of trig is painted the same colour as the water tank. As it was very overcast and starting to drizzle and thunder in the distance the trig blended very well in the background. So yes, in a couple of weeks I will return to take better photos. As I was trying to find a location to get a better shot of fin and legs, I could tell the storm was coming and getting closer. So, I left and did a down hill fast walk and jogging. Just as well as I got to car and started to leave the havens opened up and started to rain heavy, so a close call. Will return.
