My very first "First to Find"!!!!! I completed this walk in December but am only logging now due to misplaced memory card.
The walk is awesome. I'd thoroughly recommend it if you come to Maria Island. The view from the top is to die for. The walk passes through an amazing variety of plant communities which keep going almost to the very top. Saw a couple of Echidnas on the way down and was able to get up quite close and observe them for a while. I took my bike on the first leg. Would recommend this if you have one as it saves probably an hour or so. A swim at the painted cliffs was welcome at the end!
