Found this on an old parish map some time ago and looking on Google Earth and Nearmap led me to believe it may still be there. Something in the images looked trig-like so we used those coords. Of course there was nothing there but we searched nearby and there was the trig - vane-less but pedestal and plaque intact! Winner! Overlooking a busy oval where the sausages sizzled. Dated at 1973. There's the possible remains of the original stone cairn on the ground nearby.
A nice find!
