Chooo ooo *FTF* with MtbikerOz.
We didn’t head directly to this, but decided on a detour via a “nearby” GC cache! Hey it was only 2km away – but what a doozy of a 2km that was! Boy – half of that terrain was impenetrable! Slowed down to well under 1km/h! It was like walking through a giant ‘pick up sticks’ game, but very steep, ultra slippery, and lashing bushes! Hard work!
Still, in the end, we were only ‘late’ by an hour!
At GZ, the falls were spectacular! Certainly this location should be on all serious geocachers agenda! We had lunch at GZ!
The way back, although still challenging, was easier than the approach, and we made relatively good time. Spotted a fair sized black snake on the way back, and it didn’t seems fussed by our presence! Gave it a wide berth!
Total of 18km walked for the day, in 8 hours! Thanks cantanga great cache - and MtbikerOz for the company!
