Gallery of log for Conder Old

30-Jul-11
As rogerw3 has written in his log, finding this 'old' trig next to the 'new' one was a fitting end to an afternoon of long walks and tough climbs to various trigs.

Conder Trig was the third 'double' of the day and the most difficult to reach. (See our logs for Conder New to learn more!)

I put a rock over the location pin of this one, which is in the centre of the remnants of a stone circle. Trig experts will recognise this site as the remains of the old 'de-piled' trig that pre-dated the present one, and which has its own separate TS number issued by the NSW Department of Lands.

Thanks to rogerw3 for re-discovering the correct coordinates!

We were ready for a roadside cappuccino at Bilpin after our exertions to reach the two Condors.

Another 'Four Thumbs Up' for adventure, surprise of discovery, and total exertion . . .
Rated: for Overall Experience.
